Story
Hello, friends, my name is Eli, when I was a baby they called me Flopper, but now I’m a big boy and have a big boy name. Although being named after a shoe, flip flop Flopper wasn’t too shabby for a pup! I am now turned into a big, beautiful, brown & white, boy. I’m the color of an oatmeal cream pie cookie. As you can see from my photo, I’m so very sweet and loving. I’m described as a very quiet, pretty laid back type of guy. I’m of course neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped. Plus crate & house trained and I have done great with both! I am also starting work on leash manners which I am also doing well with because I’m very good at learning. I was raised around multiple dogs of all sizes and colors and temperaments. I do wonderful with other dogs, I am very submissive, not bossy at all. I also really adore the kiddos. I haven’t tested with cats yet, but Foster Mom says with proper introductions and supervision I would be fine because I’m an all around nice boy! I know we can really get along and be a family together. Basics: Eli PC- male neutered, DOB 10/9/23, potential weight when fully grown 55-65 lbs, Pitbull mix, fawn with some white spots, good with dogs, cats, kids, happy and playful, laid back, sweet, potty and crate trained Location: South Texas but can be transported out of state How To Adopt: Please sign up to adopt me. DogHouse ArtHouse’s processes are still under construction, so please complete an application with our sister rescue God’s Dogs Rescue here https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/GDR/Dog/ Partially filled out applications, or applications without a vet reference will not be considered without thorough explanation as to why it cannot be fully completed. Is adept at teeth brushing! * Car sickness: Not at all. 💌Special Features💌 * Since he is still young, he may have separation anxiety, potty mistakes, biting, biting, whining, fussing, howling, and barking, so training may be necessary. * It is difficult to predict shedding or grown-up size. because his father is unknown. * Is a smart dog that understands the commands such as "sit," "wait,"lie down," "paw," "nose," and "house".

Story
Meet Welch 💟 * Toward People: Really likes people without reservation! Approaches even strangers, kisses them, and accepts being held. Even while sleeping, she welcomes and wags her tail as if she could fly to them when she hears her family come in. * Is a cheerful dog who enjoys spending time playing with toys with her family! If you call Welch, she will come running to you.😆 * Toward Dogs: Loves dogs and approaches them first to play together. Is a super social dog who gets along excellently with other dogs. She avoids overly active dogs. If she sends a signal to play to a close friend but the friend doesn’t play, she warfs at the dog and follows him/her! * Towards cats : Does not react and passes by a cat encountered when out on a walk. However, has a lot of curiosity so wants to go near birds. * Separation Anxiety: When left alone, she may whine for a bit. If you give her something she can occupy her time with such as nosewalk toys or chews, she will stay fine on her own.😊 She plays and stays fine with a dog friend, and is fine in unfamiliar places with unfamiliar people. * Potty Training : Mostly pees indoors, and is 100% successful using pads! Tends to keep things tidy, so the pad needs to be changed after using it a once or twice to prevent her from making mistakes on the floor! * Hygiene: Does not like baths, but tolerates fairly well. Tolerates the dryer pretty well if you give her treats that she can chew for a long time. Accepts grooming or teeth-brushing well, but does not like being touched on her feet and is afraid of nail trimming, so she is currently receiving grooming at the vet. * Walks: Prefers harness over a martingale collar. Knows that wearing a harness means going out for a walk, and she loves it! Has a tendency to pull forwards outdoors and tries to run away if she gets scared by loud noises, but is currently being trained. * Car sickness: Sleeps quietly in her car seat without car sickness💤 💌Special Features💌 * Since she is still young, she may have separation anxiety, potty mistakes, chewing, biting, whining, fussing, howling, and barking, so training may be necessary. * It is difficult to predict shedding or her adult size. because her father is unknown. * Understands commands such as "sit", "wait and "shake hands", " nose boop", "lay down", " and "V" * Tends to eat in a hurry, so she is using a slow feeder bowl. *Does not like being held tight or being stopped from moving.

Meet Bbodol 💟 * Interaction with people : He seems to be shy at first. However, if you approach first and pet him, he will wag his tail and plead for more petting and become a really endearing dog. * Interaction with dogs: Does not care about fellow dog companions. When other dog comes too close, he lowers his tail and retreats. * Interaction with cat: Absolutely non-aggressive! After sniffing around, the cat doesn't seem to pay much attention even if approached or touched. It shows interest when seeing birds by wagging its tail, but doesn't chase or show aggression. * Separation Anxiety : No separation anxiety. When left alone, he whines a little but manages to get by on his own. * Bathroom habits: Prefers outdoor elimination. Currently, 100% of eliminations occur outdoors! * Hygiene management: Enjoys bathing, grooming, and nail trimming to some extent, but may exhibit slight resistance initially before patiently cooperating 🤣 * Walking: Sensitive to noise and easily frightened, undergoing desensitization training and walking practice. Gets scared around cars or crowds, but enjoys leisurely walks in quiet parks! * Car sickness: No car sickness, but still fearful of cars and undergoing training. 💌Health info💌 He scratched his skin because of a temporary allergic reaction, but now he is much better after taking medication.

Story
Hi Dalila here,I am the perfect mix of a young and sweet dog, who loves to cuddle but also who takes care of its family and friends. I am cute as I can be, loyal and a leader as well.I am a pretty strong and active dog, I walk well on a leash but sometimes when I see something interesting I can pull on the leash. I am working on it and I could use a bit more training in that area. Check out my YouTube video: https://youtu.be/Db_KQQHUDt8I get along with most dogs when I have a good introduction. I tend to be a bit protective with strange dogs I meet on a walk so I may need some patience and more training to learn how to be calmer. I am sure that if you have a family dog now, we would get along, I live with 8 dogs now so I am used to having a pack-mate.I am good on car rides, like to go to the beach, and love to be around my family. My ideal family will be active and outdoorsy. I imagine us running through the woods or on the beach sniffing all the great scents there. I imagine playing in the backyard with older kids and then settling down for a nice nap in a warm bed. Ahhh, that will be the life! If that sounds like we could be a match, then just fill in the application and we can meet on a Zoom call.Lots of love to give,Dalila To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. Story
Meet May! She's mastered all basic obedience training thanks to classes with Swift K9 Training. She LOVES people and kids, but would do best in a home with children over 8. She does not mind cats at all and completely ignores them. She loves her crate--it's her safe space. She is great on leash and loves walks. May is about 4.5 years old and weighs 55 pounds. She would do best in a home as an only dog, and needs a quiet, calm environment willing to take things slow to help her adjust to home life. She has a lot of love to give to someone who can give her a chance. Her adoption fee is fully sponsored! She just needs the perfect home.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Meet Runner! This sweet girl got her name from following her finder home on a run! She probably knew she’d found someone who would help her. She’s a little nervous, but it’s only her first day at the rescue. Her finder had her for a month and fully house trained her, and she knows her manners. Runner is about 2 years old and weighs 42 pounds. She looks like a Black Mouth Cur mix, but she has a fluffy tail and some interesting coloring on her legs. She walks well on a leash, and is learning that the world is a fun place to explore when you have a safe, warm home and regular food every day! She’s good with other dogs and people, and would love to keep building her confidence. Story
Say Hello to Dorothy❤️‍🔥, A Social Butterfly from the Wonderful Wizard of Oz 🐶 Our Dorothy is an explorer. She loves to see the world and to investigate new and interesting smells by having her nose to the ground during her walk. Dorothy is considerate. Even to her friends who approach her mischievously, Dorothy is playful and invites them to play. Dorothy is not shy away expressing her love. When you are spending time with her neighbour longer than expected (in her opinion), Dorothy actively reaches out to you through the hole of her crate and let you know to hurry. It is irresistible when Dorothy rests her head on your shoulder and meets your eyes. Like Dorothy in “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz,” our Dorothy is compassionate and courageous. She will bring good luck and charm to your life. Could you open your heart and home to this lovely girl?
