Hi Dalila here,I am the perfect mix of a young and sweet dog, who loves to cuddle but also who takes care of its family and friends. I am cute as I can be, loyal and a leader as well.I am a pretty strong and active dog, I walk well on a leash but sometimes when I see something interesting I can pull on the leash. I tend to be a bit protective with strange dogs I meet on a walk so I may need some patience and more training to learn how to be calmer. I am sure that if you have a family dog now, we would get along, I live with 8 dogs now so I am used to having a pack-mate.I am good on car rides, like to go to the beach, and love to be around my family. My ideal family will be active and outdoorsy. I imagine us running through the woods or on the beach sniffing all the great scents there. I imagine playing in the backyard with older kids and then settling down for a nice nap in a warm bed. Ahhh, that will be the life! Abby was found along with her sister abandoned in an apartment complex in SW Houston. She is 10-11 months old and will weigh around 60lbs when full grown. She is a little shy first but then warms up quickly, she is house and crate trained but will need more positive reinforcement. She does get along with other dogs and walks well on a leash. She is spayed, current on vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped. She has a clean bill of health. The adoption fee includes her transport to your area and she is being fostered in Houston TX. Hello, friends, my name is Eli, when I was a baby they called me Flopper, but now I’m a big boy and have a big boy name. Although being named after a shoe, flip flop Flopper wasn’t too shabby for a pup! I am now turned into a big, beautiful, brown & white, boy. I’m the color of an oatmeal cream pie cookie. As you can see from my photo, I’m so very sweet and loving. I’m described as a very quiet, pretty laid back type of guy. I’m of course neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped. Plus crate & house trained and I have done great with both! I am also starting work on leash manners which I am also doing well with because I’m very good at learning. I was raised around multiple dogs of all sizes and colors and temperaments. I do wonderful with other dogs, I am very submissive, not bossy at all. I also really adore the kiddos. I haven’t tested with cats yet, but Foster Mom says with proper introductions and supervision I would be fine because I’m an all around nice boy! I know we can really get along and be a family together.
