Gramercy has a mostly brown coat with white on his chest and paws. He has a splash of black down his back on around his snout. He is a sweet gentle dog with great manners. He enjoys life outdoors and loves to play in the yard. Gramercy would be better suited for a family with no young children. He is good with other dogs once introduced. Gramercy walks well on a leash and follows verbal cues such as stay and down. He also loves riding in the car. He will make a great companion to a active and loving family. Story
I rescued Koya over a year ago. She is full of energy, smart, and eager to learn and please. She has been professionally trained; our latest training session was July 27, 23. She is a joy to walk the neighborhood, or take on a hike, even camping. She has some anxiety, particularly separation, and could use more training around that. She has some fear reactivity and can be protective toward people, which is unpredictable. I use a muzzle anytime we will be in close quarters with people. Introducing her to new people should be slow. She has not shown reactivity toward people she is acquainted with. She gets along with other dogs, but play should be monitored as she lacks some social awareness. She requires someone who is experienced, can hold a pushy, smart dog accountable, who wants to continue training, who works from home or has a hybrid schedule. A yard or land is ideal. She would make an excellent farm dog or hunting partner with her nose, trainability, and prey drive.

Meet Chewy! He's a gentle, laid back senior boy who loves to just relax with his people. Chewy is about 7 years old and weighs about 69 pounds. He's great with kids and other dogs, and he's already house trained! He's also crate trained and he knows commands: sit and lay down. Chewy loves to play fetch, and he also loves bath time and being pampered. Animal Profile: Bochy is a 5-year-old, 65 lb male Black Mouth Cur mix. He does great with his pack and he does fine meeting other dogs on and off leash, but would also do okay as the only dog in the home. He would do best in a calm environment with owners who can provide leadership; he is trainable and eager to please. Bochy is crate trained, house trained, and knows basic obedience. He loves to play with toys and balls and has a goofy personality. He is ready to go... just needs a family to call his own! Adopter Profile No apartments preferred Fenced yard preferred Other dogs OK No cats  Adoption Info: Bochy's adoption fee is $300, which includes neuter, core vaccinations, and microchip. Bochy has been examined by a veterinarian and is in good health. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible, as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization.  Animal History: Bochy had been raised from a puppy in a loving home and was surrendered by his family in Oct 2021 due to a newborn in the home, which caused him to behave more protectively to people coming into the home. Bochy was then fostered with DGS for several months, adopted in 2022 and returned 7 months later when his owner needed hip surgery.
