Stella is an adorable DSH black female born approximately 5/20/2025. Stella and her foster brother, Astro, were rescued from being homeless. Thankfully a good Samaritan rescued her and asked NBCR for help in finding her the perfect home. Astro and Stella would prefer a fur-ever home where they can stay together if possible.    Stella is a petite little girl with a gorgeous silky black coat. Don’t let her size fool you though.  Even though they are the same age, Astro is much bigger than her, but that didn’t phase her one bit.  She is an energetic and inquisitive girl who enjoys chatting with you especially at mealtime, when greeting you, or wanting you to turn the faucet on to a slow drip for her drinking pleasure. She does enjoy playing a good game of fetch with her favorite toys. She frequently chases her brother around the room, playing and stealing whichever toy with which he is playing.  They both love tunnel toys, cardboard boxes, tissue paper and chasing wand toys or the laser. She has been trained to use a corrugated cat scratcher.  Stella is microchipped and her adoption fee is $105. December 22, 2025, 9:06 am

Ducky is a great kitty! We are looking to rehome him because of medical reasons (with the family, not him). He loves to be a lap cat! He is vocal, loving, and very agile. He would be a great addition to any home.

Mylah loves to be the center of attention and thrives when she has her own space and person to love. She enjoys bird-watching by the window, chasing toys, and curling up in cozy blankets. She’s spayed, healthy, and litter-trained. Rehoming her has been a hard decision — she means a lot to me — but I want her to have the calm, one-on-one home she truly deserves. She’ll come with her favorite toys, blanket, and food to make her transition easier. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will fill your home with love and little purrs, Mylah is your girl. 💛

Jenny is a beautiful 20 month old black kitty found on a VERY cold night after Thanksgiving last year (someone dumped her in a busy commercial area). This sweet girl will greet you at your door every time you come home. She is very chatty/chirpy and typically wants to follow you around your home to see what you’re up to. She is very curious and friendly with any two legged visitors. She LOVEs to play with her toys and laser mouse and often gets the zoomies. She will need a little time to get to know you and her new surroundings to establish trust. Once she feels safe, she will gradually want a little lap time or sit near you. She has a very good vocabulary and understands many words or gentle commands well. Due to other cats in our home, she’s not really been able to fully blossom and be the queen of the house. We can see steady progress but she would much happier being an only child.. She thrives in calm, quiet settings and would love a peaceful adult (also with older kids) home where she can relax and allow her guard to be down and be more of herself. Loud noises and other adult dogs or adult cats make her uncomfortable. She is looking for a patient, loving adopter who understands that good things take time. Once she trusts you, she’ll reward you with constant companionship and some very creative play and antics.
