Story
Apply to Adopt Me! If you are looking for a puppy who is ready to paw-ty, then Patchy is your guy! We aren't sure what breed mix he is, but we do know he is a very handsome boy. He looks like he is covered in confetti and he acts like it too! At around 6 months old, he is a perfect size at 32 pounds and loves to snuggle up in your lap when he is finished playing. He is house trained, is very smart and is treat motivated, Patchy is quickly learning basic commands and will be ready for any trick you want to teach him. He loves snuggling with his foster mom during the night and sleeps through the night. His personality is ideal - loves other dogs and cats, great with kids and responds well to correction. He is crate trained and walks well on a leash. Patchy loves going for car rides and is very well behaved in the vehicle. One of his fav things is chasing lizards and squirrels. He loves toys, but needs durable ones - stuffies don't stand a chance! He also loves chasing a ball and and fetching it - he brings it back and drops at your feet. He has learned "leave it" and is learning the "stay" command. Patchy will make an ideal furever friend for someone ready for adventure, a family looking for a playmate for dogs or kids, or for anyone looking for an all-around amazing, snuggly pup. He is really well behaved. We prefer a playmate around his size or larger, and a fenced yard so he can get his playful puppy energy out on a daily basis. As with any puppy, Patchy will benefit from puppy classes and continued socialization to be the best adult dog he can be. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe you have the perfect, active home for Patchy, please complete an app and tell us more about your family. October 6, 2024, 2:57 pm

Story
Bingo is a very beautiful girl. She came with her brother Bluey. Bingo is very submissive and loves belly ribs. A great thing about her is she is very food and toy motivated. She is leash trained and loves all attention to be on her! Being as young as she is, she does have alot of energy so a family with plenty of time to play and love on her would be highly recommended. She is currently working on socializing with other pets as she has mostly only interacted with her brother.

Story
Maddie is 10 years old, very protective and obedient. Not a picky eater at all. No major health issues, just a bit chunky. Fairly energetic for her age, but in short bursts, most of day spent laying on couch or floor. Warms up to guest pretty quickly but protective and barks at first. She does not like the attention of our two young children which we have been dealing with but now it appears our youngest child is having allergy issues related to her dander. While we love Maddie, we need to make this decision for our family, including her. She deserves to have a home where she can be loved properly and with someone who has the time to give her the exercise and attention she needs. We are not asking for a fee, we just want her to go to a loving caretaker.

Story
Lilly is a beautiful 2 year old cattle dog mix. She was abandoned at our vet's office about six months ago and when efforts to get her owners to return for her failed, they asked us to help her find a home. She is currently still living in the kennel at the vet and we would love to see her in a home. We have tested her with other dogs and she was amazing with them - polite, calm and friendly. She has done well with every person she has been introduced to as well. We have no history of how she is in a home environment but she has appeared housebroken when visiting our office for the day and is calm and well behaved. She is a great medium size and medium energy level and very smart.  Lilly was spayed and vaccinated by our vet and her adoption fee is $150.  ##2172302##

Story
Hi, my name is Peppermint Patty. Some call me Peppy for short. It is estimated that I am just about 2 years old. I am super smart, I already know sit, boop, down, drop it, wait and leave it. I also know what they mean when they tell me to pee or poop on a walk, these are just the beginnings of words that I am learning, and I can (and want to) learn so much more! I would benefit most from a home with someone VERY active and would like to take the time to train me on many more commands. The sky is the limit as to what I can learn. I do get along with other dogs (with slow introductions), but I am also very intense, so it depends on whether the other dog is willing and able to set boundaries for me. I require slow introductions to people as well, you can't just trust everyone. Since I am young, and strong, it would be best to be in a home without children. I love to go on walks, but love yard zoomies as well, so a fenced-in yard is preferred. I am a bit of a handful, so we don't want anyone to think they are entering into this lightly with me. I will need love, time and lots of training to be the best dog I can be. In return, you will have my loyalty and love, I'm a very wonderful companion. No DNA tests have been done, but since Cattle Dog and possibly Blue Nose Pit are both on the restricted breed list, homeownership is required to adopt me. No renters. I have all had all of my shots, and am spayed. This is all included in my adoption fee, as well as a registered microchip and a full set of medical records for you and my future vet! If you are interested in meeting me, please complete an adoption application. Upon pre-approval, someone will reach out to set up a time for a meet and greet. I'm looking forward to meeting you! Only applicants who meet the following current requirements will be considered: - Homeownership, no renters - Children in the home must be 13 and up - Fenced yard not required, but preferred ##1596640##

Story
Bentley is approx 5 years old, 68lbs, and has a Labrador personality - lovable, playful, energetic and obedient. He is super smart and learns very fast! He is crate trained, neutered and fully up to date with all his shots. A DNA test indicates he is Australian Cattle Dog/Labrador/ Border Collie/Bloodhound so he is a relentless squirrel and lizard hunter! He needs an active home with room to run, and a person to hang with. I believe he has potential for agility and he can certainly run! He will be better in a home without cats or small dogs but bigger dogs are fine (children unknown). A fenced backyard is a must. He’s learning not to jump on people in his enthusiasm to greet and needs help with his leash manners. It breaks my heart to rehome him. I recently adopted him, but my large GSD won’t accept him.
