We acquire Kiwi as a puppy in July 2020 as a birthday gift for our grandson who lives with us. She is a loving dog and a part of the family. We are putting Kiwi up for adoption because the grandson is going to join the military and we are moving into assisted living (we are 89 and 86) in May. and cannot take her with us. Kiwi is mostly Border Collie and is colored like Lassie.

Penny is a dog that needs someone who can set boundaries in a positive firm consistent manner. Typical of herders, she will try to control if she senses you are not in charge. She knows commands, she is motion activated as are most herders. We are working with that and she can be reactive with other dogs, thus the need for a dog savvy handler. She would do best in a home with one other dog or no other dogs for those less experienced. Fenced yard is a must, as is a knowledgeable border collie person .
