This silly girl is Daphne!  Daphne is a 7-month-old Border Collie mix.  Daphne came to E.A.R.S. from a rescue in Texas with her kennel mate, Addy.  Daphne is a fun-loving girl with a lot of spunk.  She loves to play in the paddock and pond with Addy and she LOVES the water. Daphne is working on her basic commands and leash manners.  She will make a fun addition to any family. Interested in a play date with Daphne?  Please fill out an application for a meet and greet.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Lenny   Lenny is a wonderful boy with an excellent temperament and a calm, laid-back personality. Most of the time he’s relaxed and easygoing — until it’s time for a walk! Then you’ll be treated to some happy barking and his adorable little dance that shows just how excited he is to get moving   Lenny does have some separation anxiety, so he would thrive best in a home where someone is home most of the time or able to take him along with them. With the right setup, he is an incredibly loyal and loving companion.   He’s done great with every dog he’s met so far and has shown polite, well-mannered behavior around small children. He’s more drawn to women, but is respectful with men as well — a quick hello and he’s ready to move on. While he hasn’t been tested with cats, he’s been easily managed around them.   Lenny already knows sit, lay down, and give paw, and he walks beautifully on a leash with no pulling. He’s very respectful in the home and hasn’t attempted to get on furniture, even when other dogs do. His appetite is normal, and he’s currently doing well on a weight-management diet with some added steamed chicken.   Lenny is a truly special boy who will make an amazing companion for the right home — especially one looking for a calm, devoted shadow who just wants to be near his person.    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 21, 2025, 11:52 am

Story
Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- St. Petersburg, FL Meet Stella! She is an 8-year-old Australian Shepherd and weighs between 65-70 lbs. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Stella is nervous around strangers, especially men! She is good with cats and dogs! Stella would do best in a home with one other dog or as the only dog, because she prefers her alone time and having the attention focused on her. She hasn’t been tested around children. Stella is given 40 mg of Prozac daily and allergy medication as needed. The owner is surrendering her because they are unable to care for her financially. They also are unable to provide the time and attention that she needs. She needs to go by 4/30! If you think you can provide a great home for Stella, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Stella. Story
Trinket is a happy go lucky ball of energy, she is a whopping 50lbs now at a year old. She is an Australian Shepherd mix, is fixed and up to date on shots and monthly preventatives. She is a sweet girl who loves to meet new people, and loves to play with other dogs. She loves cats but does leave them alone as well as small animals like rabbits, but may chase squirrels. She's used to seeing horses and exotic birds like peacocks. Trinket will require more training, shw is slowly calming down but she knows no personal boundaries and likes to throw hwr weight around as she still believesshes a tiny puppy, we tell her she's not a lap dog and she still doesnt believe it. She knows sit, paw, down, leave it, roll, stay and is learning "stick em up". She is afraid of new things bit still brave on the leash and will require more training there as well. She will also need a fenced in yard as she has too much energy and loves to run and get all her zoomies out. Trinket loves to jump over baby gates but has never jumped out of her puppy yard enclosed with a chain link 4 foot fence. She rides extremely well in a car, and is used to being tethered but is currently not tethered during car rides, and was a really good girl on her Foster's recent trip from Florida to North Carolina. Trinket will need a home that understands that she has a lot of energy, and needs a lot of training. She would do best in a home with older children only due to the fact that she would jump on and knock over littles really easily and not mean too, and then proceed to give too many kisses after knocking them down. Requirements: * a friendly dog buddy who loves to play * a meet and greet with everyone who lives in the house, dog(s) included * Fenced in yard * Someone with time and patience to give her the training she needs. * An aussie experienced home preferred as she has lots of Aussie tendencies energy wise Located in New Port Richey, FL If Trinket sounds perfect for you, please fill out our application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to her new furever family
