Story
PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hi, I’m Baby Girl! 💖 I’m a 7-year-old Border Collie mix who’s still a bit shy, but I’m slowly learning to trust and open up. I’m a sweet and loving girl at heart, and I can tell I’m going to be the most loyal companion to the right person. It might take me a little time to feel fully comfortable, but I’m making great progress every day. I’ve just started allowing my foster to pet me, and I even love a little attention when I come out of my shell. 🐾 I’m an independent girl who enjoys my alone time, but I also love a peaceful, laid-back environment. I spend most of my day relaxing and enjoying the little things, like laying in the sun in the yard. 🌞 I’m potty trained, crate trained, and pretty good on the leash, but I’m still learning the basics, like "sit" and "stay." Treats are my favorite, and I’m excited to keep learning! 🍖 **My Ideal Home:** * I’d love a quiet home with a patient person who understands I need time to open up. I’m best suited to a smaller family (1-3 people) who will respect my space and give me the time I need to trust them. * I’m not so sure about cats yet, but I think I’d do well with older, laid-back dogs who will allow me to take things at my own pace. I tend to run when there’s a lot of barking, but I always come back when I’m ready! 🐶 * A home with a fenced backyard where I can relax in the sun and enjoy some peace would be perfect for me. **A Word from My Foster:** Baby Girl is a very sweet, shy girl who is really starting to blossom. She’s warming up more and more every day, and I’m so excited to see her progress! She loves her alone time but is also enjoying the little bits of attention she’s getting. She’s a laid-back companion who enjoys being outside, especially in the sun. If you’re patient and understand that trust takes time, Baby Girl will reward you with loyalty and love. 💕 She’s going to make a wonderful addition to a calm and loving home. If you think you can give her the space and patience she needs, she’ll be your devoted companion for life. 🐕💖 Adoption FEE: $300 which includes her spay, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals. A Mercy Full Project (MFP) Adoption Application MUST BE COMPLETED in order for you to be considered as a potential adopter. By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. Story
If you are interested need of a buddy, do we have the loyal pal for you!! Spud is a 35 pound, 7 month old pup that appears to be a mix of maybe border collie and/or spaniel based on his ultra fluffy coat. He is up for any adventure, be it meeting new friends, road trips, or just sitting next to his foster mom watching tv. He's friendly, social, and calm. He is being fostered in a home with cats which he completely ignores, as well as a large Great Pyrenees which has become his best bud. Unfortunately, Spud tested positive for heartworms and we he is being treated with the slow kill method. Spud has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and wormed. He's current on flea, tick and heartworm prevention. Spud's adoption fee is $250. Applications to adopt are at kathisk9s.org Meet greets are scheduled only for approved applicants
