Sasha is a beautiful and loving dog. She loves to cuddle, she loves to run and play fetch. However, we have an older dog and with her herding instincts she's always trying to herd him and boss him around. And he's really too old for that, and he doesn't like it at all. So we need to find a new home for this sweet girl. She is very, very smart she will understand everything you say to her. She loves to go for long walks and play catch with a tennis ball. She would be a perfect farm dog because she already has the herding instinct.

Sasha is a wonderful, loving and cuddly Border Collie. She is super smart and has a lot of energy. She needs someone who can keep up with her energy by taking walks, playing fetch and frisbee and catch. Someone with a big yard would be perfect. She would do best in a home without other dogs because she will be possessive of your attention. She also would be better with children 10 and up. She does not understand what small children are and will try to herd them and boss them around.

He has had the injections. On Doxy, but will wait 3-4 weeks before neuter. I temp tested him yesterday and he was good with other dogs. Playful.

All the border collie brains without the 3-hour frisbee requirement. Finally, someone figured out the perfect border collie formula: Sox has the gorgeous looks everyone stops to admire, the scary-smart brain that picks up commands in minutes, but somehow missed the memo about needing to run marathons daily. This 65-pound beauty is equally thrilled by a good walk, a couch snuggle session, or learning new tricks—she just wants to do it all right next to you. Here's the catch though: Sox has separation anxiety that requires someone with her 24/7 right now. But this is temporary. With consistent training (which she loves), this is totally fixable. She'll follow you room to room and do security checks, but mostly she wants to lay next to you on the couch with her head in your lap for pets. Despite her size, she's incredibly gentle. You need to be someone who enjoys the training process—Sox thrives on learning and needs it to be happy. What you're getting: A dog who already walks beautifully on leash, is completely house-trained, and gets along great with other dogs (solo dog for now while building confidence). She loves kids but they need to be old enough to help reinforce training. She rides perfectly in cars, does well in stores (gentle leader recommended—she responds brilliantly to it). She's strong, so you need to be able to handle 65 pounds, but the gentle leader makes it easy. Sox landed in rescue because of a divorce. Now she's looking for people who see dog training as a hobby, not a chore. With patience and consistency, you'll end up with the perfect dog—brilliant, devoted, snuggly, and eventually confident enough to handle alone time. If you work from home, love training smart dogs, and want a companion who just wants to be near you, Sox is ready to be your project-turned-perfect-dog. Located in Bradenton, FL

URGENT Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- West Miami, FL Meet Lucky! He is an 6 year old Miniature American Shepherd and weighs 30 lbs. He is neutered and up to date on shots, but isn’t on heartworm prevention. Lucky is fearful of strangers! He hasn’t been tested around children. He is good with cats and farm animals! He is dog selective and does best with female dogs or smaller dogs. He doesn’t get along with male dogs that aren’t neutered. The owner is surrendering him because he doesn’t get along with their other dog. He needs to go by 7/27! If you think you can provide a great home for Lucky, please contact the owner listed below.
