Story
❤️ Looking for the Perfect Home for Synergy & Gracie ❤️ It breaks my heart to write this, but due to my work schedule, I can no longer give Synergy and Gracie the time and attention they deserve. These two are best friends and must stay together. They absolutely love running and playing in a fenced backyard, chasing each other, and soaking up the sunshine. When playtime is over, they’re the sweetest cuddle bugs you’ll ever meet and love giving kisses and being close to their people. I’m looking for a loving family who has the time, space, and affection to give them the life they deserve. A home with a fenced yard would be ideal, and most importantly, someone who will love them as much as I do. This is not a decision I’m making lightly. Their happiness and well-being are my top priority, and I will be very selective about where they go. Please message me if you think you might be the right fit or know someone who is. ❤️🐾

Story
🚨Border Collie/Herding Dog Experienced Foster or Foster to Adopt Needed. 🔹Pets Name: Penelope 🔹Age/DOB: 2 years old 🔹Gender: Female 🔹Spayed: Yes 🔹Weight: 50lbs 🔹Breed / Breeds: Border Collie Penelope is a very smart sweet border with typical herding tendencies. She has been on sheep and done very well. She is house broken leash trained. Does not like a crate but will go in , Needs work with crate training. Penny is a dog that needs someone who can set boundaries in a positive firm consistent manner. Typical of herders, she will try to control if she senses you are not in charge. She knows commands, she is motion activated as are most herders. We are working with that and she can be reactive with other dogs, thus the need for a dog savvy handler. She would do best in a home with one other dog or no other dogs for those less experienced. Fenced yard is a must, as is a knowledgeable border collie person . She would do well where she could work stock. She will be in the port charlotte area. 📩 Apply to foster or foster to adopt at the link below! ewenityfarmsbch.com

Story
This handsome boy is 3-year-old Moby and he's waiting for you at Satchel's! Moby can be a little shy of strangers but warms up quickly. He enjoys his walks with volunteers, followed by a nice cool down in the kiddie pool while he waits at the gate for his turn to return to his kennel. Moby is full of energy and is currently working with a trainer to learn basic understanding of what is acceptable behavior. Note from a volunteer: "Moby is a darling and very smart. He’s a “back scratch” grass loving boy who prefers water over land any day. He should’ve been a fish 🐠." For an appointment to meet Moby, please submit the adoption application (no commitment) found at satchelslastresort.org.

Story
Meet Lexi - Speed, Smarts & a Whole Lot of Heart! If you blink, you might miss her… because Lexi is quite possibly the fastest dog at the sanctuary This beautiful black-and-white girl is a stunning mix of brains and athleticism. We suspect a blend of terrier and herding breeds (we think Rat Terrier / Border Collie vibes, maybe even a touch of Staffordshire), which makes her incredibly sharp, alert, and full of personality. Lexi is a true hunter at heart, curious about everything, always tuned in, always thinking. She would absolutely thrive with an active person or family who enjoys walks, playtime, and giving her little “jobs” to do. What makes Lexi special: • Lightning fast and super athletic • Very intelligent and quick to learn • Loyal and deeply connected once she bonds • Playful, curious, and full of life • Around 50 lbs of pure energy and love She’s the kind of dog who will keep you moving, keep you smiling, and keep you on your toes in the best possible way. And when the day winds down? That same energetic girl turns into a companion who just wants to be near her person. Ideal home: Lexi would do best with someone who understands active, intelligent dogs - someone who will give her structure, exercise, and engagement. She can be a couch potato also, she loves to snuggle with you and watch a movie. If you’re looking for a dog with personality, brains, and a spark that makes every day a little more exciting - Lexi might be your girl.
