Meet Lady, our honorary small dog. Lady is a 9 year old Welch Shepherd Mix and is 40 pounds. Lady is wonderful with everyone and everything - kids, dogs and cats. This lovebug is extremely affectionate. She loves to run outside and enjoy nature so a fenced in yard is a must. She loves people and is a sweet cuddly girl. Treats, pets and belly rubs are all some of her favorite things. She would be an absolutely wonderful addition to any family that is looking to have a sweet and easy forever pet and would love to be part of your familyt!!

Story
Breed: Border Collie Mix (we think he is part lab as well, but never verified) Acquired: Faithful Friends Pet Rescue and Rehoming (Gainesville, FL.) Birth date: March 24th, 2020 (~5 years) Weight: (~50 lbs) Reason for Rehoming: He is wonderfully smart and loving, but also maintains some possession aggression tendencies. We have a 16 month old (Luke) who has begun walking/running and Turbo has growled at him a few times. We’ve tried to modify our home and teaching styles over the years and have sought training which has helped. Turbo needs a lot of room to run and let out his energy, and a home with no small children or cats. We love him so much but we cannot take a chance with our son.

Story
Ada is a 6 year old border collie. We adopted her from a shelter at 8 months old. She is very loving, loyal, and extremely intelligent. She can be quite vocal, it’s the border collie in her. We recently had a baby, and she has proven to be incompatible with the change. She does well with more submissive or passive dogs.

Story
Snickers is a purebred almost 2 year old (Dec 2024) Miniature Australian Shepherd. Beautiful coloring and a lovely soft coat. A little shy at first but gets more confident. Cautious with people but does prefer women to men, cats and other dogs. He can be protective of his home. An energetic, alpha/pack leader owner and breed experience is preferred as he can nip and be a biter. Training has improved this behavior tremendously. Australian Shepherds need a very dedicated owner as they get very attached and protective, also: 1. Owners must invest time in training. 2. Aussie's need to be mentally stimulated and kept occupied as they are very intelligent. 3. They need rigorous daily exercise such as hiking, running and games of fetch. If you can provide a home to Snickers with these criteria, please complete an adoption application. Thank you $400 adoption fee includes his neuter, microchip, and all vaccinations and preventatives up to date. Adopters should have the following: Single family home with fenced yard and preferably another pup to play and socialize with. Please, no long hours left alone and not crated for more than 4 hours. ** All canine pets should be altered, current on all required vaccinations, including rabies and on monthly flea, tick and heartworm prevention. ** PawLife Rescue Group reserves the right to approve or deny any application for any reason. Please visit our website for more information on the foster/adoption process and to complete a foster/adoption application. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-resources Monica is house- and crate-trained, friendly but can be a bit shy at first. She's independent but also affectionate and playful, with medium energy. She gets along great with other dogs. She's a bit of a show-off when she walks – so cute! Given her propensity for chewing, she will need to be watched. Best guess at breed. Adopters should have the following: Single family home with fenced yard and preferably another pup to play and socialize with. Story
Please visit our website for more information on the foster/adoption process and to complete a foster/adoption application. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-resources Meet beautiful Iris! She has a sweet, gentle nature and loves to play. Iris needs a patient, understanding home with a predictable routine. She can be a little skittish in new or unfamiliar environments, but she has shown that she warms up to people rather quickly. She has the most expressive eyes and the cutest deer-tail (her little, excited tail wiggles are the best). She’s incredibly intelligent and learns quickly; she’d benefit from constant enrichment to build her confidence. She is potty trained, good with other dogs, and OK with cats. Iris would do best in a home with no small children. Located in Pinellas County, Florida.
