Story
Please visit our website for more information on the adoption process and to complete an adoption application. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-resources This handsome young purebred Border Collie is Scout. Still a youngster, turning 1 year old in April. Scout’s ideal home, as he is a young active pup, should be willing and able to continue exercise and socialization. Scout is described as a “Happy go lucky pup”.  He just wants to play and have fun. Scout is outgoing and sweet. He loves to romp and play chase games with other dogs and will adjust his play style to the size of the other dog. He loves to play fetch. Scout rides well in a car and walks nicely on a leash. He knows sit, down, stay and has great recall. He is good with children, preferably over 8 years old because of Scout's energy and other dogs. He is a high energy pup because of his breed and he is still so young. Scout is neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped. If you would like to meet Scout and give him a permanent loving home, please complete the adoption application below. Story
Huckleberry is a very loyal boy to me. I’ve had him since he was 3mos. He turns 4yo on 05/06/2024. He’s house trained, never gets into things he’s not supposed to, & listens pretty good. Everything with him has been great up until the last year & a half. He’s a good boy but he has developed some anxiety. I used to be able to take him everywhere & he could be around anyone but recently he has started becoming more reactive to strangers (people & animals). He’s the sweetest to myself, my cat, my brother and my mom but just has a hard time with other people. I love this dog to pieces but i unfortunately am unable to care for him how he needs. Huck is in need of some good training & I know he will kick these behavior issues. We currently live in an apartment & it’s not the best for him. It breaks my heart but I know he will have a happier/healthier life in a different home. Huckleberry deserves a family who will love, be patient & get all his energy out! He needs someone with experience!!!

Story
Annie is an incredibly sweet border collie mix. She enjoys short walks, and lying in the sun. Due to her age, she does not require much exercise but still enjoys the great outdoors. Annie is treat-motivated, crate-trained, and loves to snack on carrots. She was first adopted from a family with children after they had to move away and has since lived with a single owner who unfortunately can no longer care for her. She's an older girl but loves to play and beg for treats with her paws. Her dream is to retire to her forever home. She gets a little anxious during thunderstorms and prefers to be by your side during them. It took some time for her to warm up to our other female dog but now they play in the yard together and get along fine.

I am a distinguished older gentleman who has had positive interactions with children and strangers. I walk well on leash and am a fan of a good car ride but can be picky about my puppy pals, so please bring any potential dog friends by for a meet and greet to see if we hit it off.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.&#226&#128&#188&#239&#184&#143Available for Adoption&#226&#128&#188&#239&#184&#143 Orlando   Meet Cookie!! Cookie is a 4 year old 60 pound female who was brought in to 4LD as a stray. We can’t say for sure what her breed is, but based on her physical appearance and traits we believe her to be a Border Collie & possible Labrador mix.  Cookie is acclimating to being an indoor pet, she’s come such a long way in a short amount of time. When Cookie came to us she was treated for Pneumonia and since then she has totally come out of her shell! She is surprisingly housebroken and is loved to go for walks! She also enjoys being at the brewery and meeting new people!  Cookie is still nervous and sensitive to hustle and bustle, a quieter home will benefit her during his transition to living inside. She is gaining her energy back, and loves to be lounging in the sun in her backyard. She’s pretty low energy and is an easy going kinda gal!!  We do not know Cookies history, so we will not be adopting her to a home with young children. Please apply to be considered for Cookie at 4luckydogs.org - if you have an app in already pls comment below to move it over.  #4luckydogspetrescueinc #4luckydogsrescue #4luckydogs #4luckydogsanimalrescue #floridadoglife #floridadoglovers #floridadogrescue #borderdor #bordercollie #mixedbreed #tampa #tampabay #orlando #orlandoflorida #orlandofl #fosterdogVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 26, 2024, 5:25 pm

Story
Meet beautiful Iris! She has a sweet, gentle nature and loves to play and wrestle with Rose. Iris needs a patient, understanding home with a predictable routine. She can be a little skittish in new or unfamiliar environments, but she has shown that she warms up to people rather quickly. She has the most expressive eyes and the cutest deer-tail (her little, excited tail wiggles are the best). She’s incredibly intelligent and learns quickly; she’d benefit from constant enrichment to build her confidence. Sometimes she’ll pick up a toy, look directly at Rose, and then run away, all because she wants Rose’s attention. She is potty trained, good with other dogs, and OK with cats. Iris would do best in a home with no small children. Meet lovely, sweet girl Rose! She came to us when she got sick and her previous owner could not afford her medical. She loves to cuddle and loves playing fetch. She would love a fenced in yard where she can run and play fetch with you. She loves going for a walk and car rides. Please fill out an application if you would like to meet them. Meet lovely, sweet Rose! She was surrendered to Pawlife Rescue when her previous owner could not afford her medical needs. Rose is such an affectionate, grateful, and happy girl. She loves playing fetch and she would have a toy in her mouth 24/7 if she could! She has the perfect pup smile and lights up any time you give her a head rub or pick up a toy to play with her. She would love a fenced in yard where she can run and play fetch with you. She loves going for walks and car rides. Sweet Rose loves to cuddle with humans and Iris on the couch (they might even lay on each other to get closer to you). She’s interested in cats but may scare them due to her excited nature. Adoption fee is for both dogs. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoptable-pets/iris-rose Please visit our website for more information on the foster/adoption process. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-resources Located in Pinellas County, Florida.

Story
Snickers is a purebred 10-month-old (OCT 2023) Miniature Australian Shepherd. Beautiful coloring and a lovely soft coat. A little shy at first but gets more confident. Friendly with people but does prefer women to men, cats and other dogs. He can be protective of his home. An alpha/pack leader owner and breed experience is preferred as he can nip and be a biter. Training has improved this behavior tremendously. Australian Shepherds need a very dedicated owner as they get very attached and protective, also: 1. Owners must invest time in training. 2. Aussie's need to be mentally stimulated and kept occupied as they are very intelligent. 3. They need rigorous daily exercise such as hiking, running and games of fetch. If you can provide a home to Snickers with these criteria, please complete an adoption application. Thank you $400 adoption fee includes his neuter, microchip, and all vaccinations and preventatives up to date. Adopters should have the following: Single family home with fenced yard and preferably another pup to play and socialize with. Please, no long hours left alone and not crated for more than 4 hours. ** All canine pets should be altered, current on all required vaccinations, including rabies and on monthly flea, tick and heartworm prevention. ** PawLife Rescue Group reserves the right to approve or deny any application for any reason.
