I'm Winslow, and I'm here to steal your heart with my goofy charm and boundless energy! Imagine a world filled with endless playtime, cozy naps, and a furry friend who’s always up for some fun—that's life with me! I've been living it up at my foster mom's place, making tons of doggy friends and loving every minute of it. I'm so close to being potty trained—just a whisker away! I'm a whirlwind of fun followed by epic nap sessions, then it's back to playtime again. No worries about me being a troublemaker—I’m not into chewing stuff up, and I’ve been on my best behavior. Got another furry friend at home? Awesome! I'd love a brother or sister to wrestle with because I’ve got energy for days, and wrestling is my jam. Nights are for snuggles and sweet dreams, as I sleep soundly and love bedtime cuddles with my foster mom. Ready for a forever friend who's all about fun and loyalty? That’s me, Winslow! Let’s make some pawsome memories together! Winslow is a 3 month old (est dob 3/4/2024) Border Collie.  He is scheduled for vaccinations and neuter/microchip. Story
Shanna is the sweetest girl you will ever meet! She is low energy and will sleep all day. Loves going on walks and is great with other pets after proper introductions. Shanna is 7 years old and is a border collie mix, I’m not sure what she’s mixed with but I’m sure a DNA test would be very interesting. Her favorite treat is cheese! She has skin allergies and after I’ve lost my home/job and moved into a tiny apartment they have been getting worse. I haven’t been able to keep up with the allergy shots that she needs or afford the food that is better for her. When the environment is right, her skin condition IS manageable. It’s no longer fair to her to be with me and am hoping she can find a home where she can get what she needs.

Story
MAXX & ME PET RESCUE adoptable dogsClara Bow As they begin their ninth week of life, we are hoping to find the #TTPDPups foster to adopt homes. They’re remarkably smart, funny, loving little characters and it would be such a blessing for them to bond and learn with Athe family who will keep them forever. Clara Bow fully believes she’s one of the big dogs. She wants to play with the big toys, eat out of the big bowls, sleep in the big bed, and participate in ALL the happenings right alongside her foster siblings. She can’t wait for the day she has had all her shots so she can join everyone in a pack walk around the neighborhood! Clara is great with dogs of all shapes and sizes and people, too! However, it’s very apparent already that their working dog nature is strongly imbedded. They’re constantly under your feet! They don’t even know yet why they run between your legs or plaster themselves to your ankles when you walk but soon they’ll realize why and try and herd you where they want you to go! It’s fascinating how ingrained this behavior is! So homes with elderly individuals would not be a good fit. The fall-risk is tremendous! Toddlers and young kids will also need to be a special consideration. Folks familiar with working breeds who can manage this behavior, would be imperative in a home with kids. If you’re interested in one of our #Fortunatefour, please apply using the ADOPT application @ maxxandme.org We are so excited to find them their perfect forever fits!   Clara Bow’s adoption fee is $400 *** ALL puppies adopted from Maxx&Me require basic obedience training to be completed within 6 months of adoption ***July 26, 2024, 11:37 am

Story
MAXX & ME PET RESCUE adoptable dogs      ThanK you, aIMee Aimee says YES, these pictures ARE incriminating evidence of her antics, and YES, they are in fact photographic PROOF of her busy-ness… BUT, she can explain! You see, the hole, well it could have had something nefarious in it. She was checking it out for YOUR safety. She was doing a really thorough job to be absolutely SURE nothing was in there that needed brought to your attention. Turns out, it was just a hole but it COULD have had something scary in there and she would have handled it for you, if so. The Emory board… ok see THAT looked like a bone and she’s ALLOWED to chew on bones. Yes, it felt different once it was in her mouth and YES she heard you say “no” but also, it was crunchy and it tickled her tongue when she chewed it so the thing is, you also were laughing and taking pictures so the “no” seemed like you really meant “ok, fine”… Ok, this… this is embarrassing. You happened to catch her stuck in the table. Well, she fell victim to peer pressure on this one. The big dogs dared her to see if she could go though it without getting stuck. They bet her she couldn’t and, never one to back down from a double dog dare (in which there were two of them and they both dared her), Aimee said “we’ll see about this!” They did in fact see about it and they were in fact right, she couldn’t scale the table without getting stuck. You happened to catch her at the moment she contemplated the phrase “I meant to do that” but also saw her moment of panic “what if I’m stuck here forever” worry and, well, that’s when she asked for help. Thanks for coming so quickly… Ok this next one is admittedly not her finest moment. Here’s, what happened… Aimee, worn out from all her shenanigans, no doubt, laid down to crush a cat nap. When she yawned, the step where she planned to lay her head, found its way into her mouth. THAT wasn’t her fault. She was just yawning! The step jumped into HER mouth! Ok it didn’t jump… it was stationary but she was super sleepy and she didn’t avoid it, either. When she felt it in her mouth she just kinda left it there. She wasn’t gonna chew it…. Much. She was just gonna taste it. Aimee would like to ALSO draw your attention to the PLETHORA OF ADORABLE PICS where she is being an ABSOLUTE ANGEL. Those show her true self, too! She’s definitely a conglomeration of all of these things but don’t miss how sweet she is! Aimee is WAY smart. Smart enough to find trouble if she’s given the chance! She is a great family dog and a home with older children, teens, or adults only would be perfect for her! Super young kids wouldn’t stand a chance against her brains and their toys, their toes, their ability to toddle without a dog under their feet would be a losing combo. When she’s tired, from kicking butt and taking names throughout the day, Aimee loves to be snuggled. Cats aren’t a fan of hers it seems but she is living with them and with a house-free bunny! Aimee will need an adult dog in her forever home for her to play sidekick and from whom she can learn all the things. She LOVES other dogs! If you’re looking to love Aimee & her antics forever and ever, please apply @maxxandme.org #TTPDPups #thanKyouaIMee   Aimee & her litter, the #TTPDPups were rescued at 8 weeks old. Their DOB is 4/13/24, their momma is a Border Collie / German Shepherd mix & daddy was a rolling stone. adoption fee is $400 and all puppies rescued from Maxx&Me require basic obedience classes to be completed within 6 months of adoption             July 26, 2024, 11:37 am

Story
Say hi to Lucas! This very handsome 6 year old, dude is looking for a home because his owner is no longer able to keep him. His owner is devastated over it so has asked us to help find a wonderful new mom and/or dad for him. Lucas currently weighs about 45 pounds, because he's not currently able to get the exercise he needs, so he plans to get back down to his ideal weight of 37 pounds soon. :) Lucas is a sweet boy. He loves going for walks and chasing lizards. He's a happy guy, who would love a home with a yard to play ball in. And when he's done playing, would love a comfy couch to hang out on and cuddle with his owner. If you would like to hear more about this really nice boy, please be sure to include your number when you inquire so we can call and tell you even more about Lucas.
