She has been on sheep and done very well. She is house broken leash trained. Does not like a crate but will go in , Needs work with crate training. Penny is a dog that needs someone who can set boundaries in a positive firm consistent manner. Typical of herders, she will try to control if she senses you are not in charge. She knows commands, she is motion activated as are most herders. We are working with that and she can be reactive with other dogs, thus the need for a dog savvy handler. She would do best in a home with one other dog or no other dogs for those less experienced. Fenced yard is a must, as is a knowledgeable border collie person . This is Peanut!! Border/corgi mix but i see a lot of border!! He is a year old.. This boy is about a year old and a beautiful tri with a lot of white on him. He is neutered and up to date on all his vaccines/testing/wormer/flea and heartworm. He is heartworm negative. He is needs a place to shine, he is scared in the shelter but is well behaved and is really sweet and silly when his personality comes out. he is a bit timid of men but will allow touching once he sniffs you. Good with other dogs, Lets get this boy a place where he can run and be all he can be!! May be a sports prospect!!!! Peanut is settling in. He is very active and loves to play with other dogs but can be a bit overwhelming. He loved toys and will play tug or chase a ball (fetch in progress). He does jump up when excited and we are working on that. He walks nicely on a leash with a collar or harness. We are currently working on basic obedience and manners. Peanut needs an active home and would make a good running or hiking partner. He would also do well in dog sports. I will keep updating his progress.

Boozie is an approximately 2-year-old Heeler mix who survived the heartbreaking Level Plains cruelty case. She was starved nearly to death before being rescued and given the chance to heal and learn what it means to be safe, loved, and well-fed. Despite everything she endured, Boozie has a bright future ahead of her. She is a slight heartworm positive and is receiving the care she needs. Now that the worst is behind her, this sweet girl is ready for the next chapter—finding a rescue or forever family who will make sure she never has to wonder where her next meal or safe place will come from again. Boozie survived. Now she deserves to live. ❤️ She is currently in AL and has transport to FL once she has a foster or adopter

Mackenzie and his seven brothers and sisters were found at two days of age with their mother in a ditch in a desolate area of northern Florida.  Mom is a beautiful, beautiful 29 pound white, young dog with perky ears (adorable!) with the maternal wisdom of Mother Earth. It is unclear how she found food.  Luckily, the family was found and brought into animal control, whereby animal control contacted us asking if we would take her and the family.   Mackenzie swims!  He's so good at it.  He is also litter box trained.   The puppies are fed only the finest of quality nutrition.  They have been to home improvement stores, the beach, pet stores, any and all to broaden their acceptance and understanding of the world.

I got Fury 5 years ago from a pet store when he was a puppy. He is such a great companion and has the sweetest personality. He’s well trained, has been through 2 board and trains and is great at heeling, sitting, downing, placing and eager to please. 3.5 years ago he was attacked by a neighbors off leash dog and he hasn’t been the same since. Though I’ve worked through a lot of his reactivity to surprise dogs around the corner and in elevators, he still has reactivity in any apartment living we’ve been to. He needs a home, a backyard, and ample space to get his energy out and feel safe doing so. I want to keep him, and at this point I don’t have the finances to keep rehabilitating him, or to buy a home for him to live comfortably. I just want him to be happy and have a more stress free environment and life, full of love and play,
