Since not many of us have sheep to herd, you will have to take him on long walks daily. Also play fetch with him in the yard, maybe teach him how to catch a frisbee!     Hi, I’m Hash Brown! And yes, I know you’re thinking, “Oh my gosh, he’s so cute!” I’m overflowing with charm, and these beautiful bright puppy-dog eyes, they work every time (to get my way).   I am almost 12 weeks old (birthday 12/3/25). I am 1 of 9 of a litter of Border Collie puppies. I love people and show it by wagging my tail constantly. And did I mention it is brown with a cute little white tip. My tail matches my legs, all four complete with white boots.   I adore my humans and light up when I get love and pets. I am doing well with my potty training, but am still a puppy. I am also doing well with my leash walking, not perfect, but working on it and love my walks.  I would do well in a house with another dog or I am happy to be the only one. I am a border collie, so no couch potato here. I will require daily exercise, mental challenges, and lots of love and patience.   Just imagine the adventures we could have together. I’d be thrilled to be your personal taste tester, your cozy lap warmer, or your next Instagram superstar- if that’s your vibe.   So, let's just cut to the chase and have your people call my people, and we can set up something. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Puppies - We do not adopt puppies under 16 weeks to out of state adopters. This is due to our spay/neuter policy, and all dogs must be spayed/neutered before leaving Georgia state lines. We do not adopt siblings to the same household. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. They will do best in homes that can provide: • Daily exercise and playtime • Fun training sessions and enrichment activities • Consistent structure and positive guidance • A committed, active family ready for puppy life Like all young puppies, they’ll need help with potty training, basic manners, and socialization. With patience and love, they will grow into loyal, devoted companions who form strong bonds with their people. If you’re ready to welcome a smart, energetic, and affectionate pup into your home, one of the H Litter boys may be the perfect match for you. Hershey was born on 11/23/2025 and has been neutered, microchipped and given all age appropriate vaccines and preventions. The puppies have an adoption fee of $660. Puppies require a lot of time and commitment. Please make sure your schedule can accommodate a puppy as they will be a member of your family for the next 10 to 15 years. I’m about a year and a half old, around 50 pounds, and finally looking and feeling my best after a tough start in life. Now I’m clean, fluffy, healthy, and soaking up every joy of puppyhood for the very first time. I’m a playful, curious, and smart boy who thinks sticks, stones, and pinecones are life’s greatest treasures. Most of all, I love people—my tail starts wagging the moment I see a new friend. I know “sit” and am learning more every day. Sometimes I still bounce with excitement, so I’d do best in a home without very small kids. I’m energetic, funny, and a little stubborn (in the most charming way), which means I need someone who will keep my mind and body busy. I walk nicely on a leash, ride calmly in the car, and even hang out quietly at my foster mom’s office.
