Story
Miss P is a beautiful Border Collie/ Lab mix. She is a middle aged girl, and is ready for her forever family! She is very dog friendly, and has a rough and tumble play style. She has never met a dog that she doesn&#39t like! Miss P is very food motivated and takes treats gently. She&#39s crate trained, house trained, and knows her basic commands. Miss P enjoys hunting for critters in the yard and chewing on her Nyla bones! Miss P would love a forever home with another dog and a fenced yard where she can spend time outside. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. If you&#39re interested in adopting this sweet girl, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or submit an application at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications. BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for foster/adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from the foster home.March 8, 2026, 12:40 am

Story
Meet Thunda — your future adventure buddy and part-time zoomies champion! I’m a 3-month-old Border Collie mix with an easy going personality packed into an adorable wiggly body. One minute I’m zooming around the yard like a rocket, and the next I’m ready to curl up and recharge for my next round of fun. I absolutely love being outside, whether I’m exploring, running, or just enjoying the fresh air! I’m still learning how this whole “being a dog” thing works, so I’d love a home with a young, energetic dog who can show me the ropes and be my partner in playtime and mischief. I’m smart, curious, and always ready to learn—especially if treats are involved! If you’re looking for a playful, lovable pup who will keep life exciting and fill your home with laughter, I’m your guy. Adopt me, and let’s make every day an adventure! Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Puppies - We do not adopt puppies under 16 weeks to out of state adopters. This is due to our spay/neuter policy, and all dogs must be spayed/neutered before leaving Georgia state lines. We do not adopt siblings to the same household. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. Inquiries - If you would like more information on any dogs in the rescue, please email us at info@herorescue.org.

If you can match his energy and teach him the ropes, he’ll reward you with loyalty, laughs, and the best post-play cuddles. Promise from Mikie: I’ll watch your shows, steal your spot on the sofa, and love you with my whole puppy heart. Interested? Story
Smart, spirited, and full of heart - Levi Ahoy is a handsome cattle dog mix ready to find his perfect match! Levi loves people! He is the total package for someone who loves an intelligent, active dog. With his quick mind and expressive eyes, he builds strong bonds and truly connects with his people. He’s incredibly responsive to training, eager to learn, and really thrives when he has a job to do. Whether it’s hikes, long walks, backyard zoomies, puzzle toys, or a game of fetch, Levi is happiest when he’s engaged and included. He’s fully potty trained and has great house manners, making him an easy addition to the right home. He listens beautifully and genuinely wants to get it right. Once he trusts you, his loyalty and affection run deep. Levi does best in a calm, understanding home that respects his space. He can feel stressed if he’s cornered or if his boundaries aren’t respected, but he communicates clearly and responds well to redirection. Given time to warm up at his own pace, like many of us, he truly blossoms. Because of this, Levi is looking for an adult-only home where he can feel secure and supported. For the right person, Levi will be an incredibly devoted companion — smart, adventurous, and full of personality. If you’re looking for a loyal partner who will keep you active and love you wholeheartedly, Levi Ahoy may be your perfect match. Story
Meet Sugar Plum: All Around Great Dog!  This is Sugar Plum! Her smile is genuine, and this happy girl is always smiling!    Sugar Plum is approximately 1.5 years old and is a perfect size at roughly 45 pounds. She is potty trained, crate trained, and knows many basic commands including “sit”, “down”, and “stay”.  You would never know by her friendly outgoing and happy demeanor that Sugar Plum had a rough start in life.  As a puppy she was hit by a car, left untreated and eventually had one leg amputated. Sugar Plum bounced back beautifully, and her disposition is still sweeter and happier than just about any dog you’ll ever meet.  Because of the amputation Sugar Plum is a tripod, but don’t let that dampen your enthusiasm because it doesn’t slow her down one bit!  She doesn’t notice it, and neither will you when you meet her. She is a wonderful role model for people to see! Sugar Plum would fit right in with an active lifestyle and someone that will appreciate her fun spirit and loving companionship. She does great with people, kids and other dogs, but we do think her youthful puppy energy might be a bit much for smaller children. If you think Sugar Plum might be a good fit for you or you and your family, please put in an application for her. This sweet, spunky girl has so much love to give and is ready to bring sunshine, snuggles, and tail wags into the life of a lucky adopter.   * To see more pictures of Sugar Plum, copy and paste this link into your browser: https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjCne7V.     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. Story
Meet Mason! This incredibly sweet boy is looking for a new forever home.He is a 5 year old Australian Shepherd mix, about 70 pounds, and full of love (and energy)! His current caretakers are an elderly couple, in their 80's, who stepped in to help when a family member could no longer care for him due to medical issues. While they adore Mason, he's a bit too energetic for their lifestyle, and they want to make sure he finds a home that can keep up with him. Mason's ideal home would be an active family with older children or no children. He hasn't spent time with kids but has not shown any aggression toward them. Mason Is good with other dogs and would also be ok as the only dog in the home. Mason is up to date on vaccinations and is fully crate trained and house trained! He is a love bug, full of heart and is awaiting his next adventure!    Please consider helping this sweet adorable guy and apply today! Mason can't wait to snuggle and play!    ##2458820##
