You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.NOTE- FRED IS LISTED AS A COURTESY FOR AN INDIVIDUAL ASKING TO REHOME THEIR PET.  PLEASE SEE CONTACT INFO BELOW. Please contact:  Lara208-629-9768 hannonlara@gmail.com Energy level: Moderate — playful outside, calm indoors   1. Overview & Core TemperamentFred is a sensitive, sweet, emotionally intuitive herding-breed mix who forms deep, meaningful bonds with the people he trusts. Once he feels safe, he becomes affectionate, playful, gentle, has a quirky smile, connected, and eager to be near his person. He settles well in the home, often resting at your feet or choosing a comfortable nearby spot. He likes being close but is not clingy; he simply enjoys companionship from a place of safety.Fred thrives with calm, predictable handling, gentle voices, and slow movements that give him space to build trust at his own pace. 2. Sensitivity & Emotional NeedsFred is highly sensitive and easily overwhelmed by unfamiliar people, sudden movement into hisspace, loud or chaotic environments, and unpredictability. He needs slow introductions, time to observe, soft tones, gentle body language, consistent routines, and a peaceful, stable environment. With these supports, he warms up beautifully and becomes affectionate, expressive, and securely attached. 3. Fear-Based BehaviorsFred has fear-based reactivity with new people, not true aggression. When overwhelmed, he maygrowl or snap if he feels cornered or pressured. With proper introductions and calm interactions, these behaviors reduce significantly or disappear. 4. Separation & Isolation AnxietyFred has separation and isolation anxiety. When left alone, he may pace, bark, whine, pantexcessively, drool excessively, become restless, or struggle to settle. Despite this distress, he has never been destructive and does not soil indoors. He needs gradual alone-time training, consistency, predictability, a low-stress environment, andpossibly a calm dog companion. 5. Behavior with Other DogsFred plays well with other dogs, adjusts his energy appropriately, relaxes around calm dogs, gainsconfidence from a steady canine companion, and checks in frequently with his person. On leash, he may show mild reactivity to other dogs on leash at close ranges but redirects well.Off leash he is appropriate, social, playful, and not aggressive.6. Outdoor Behavior & WalksFred is an excellent walking companion with good leash manners and strong impulse control. Hecalmly observes deer and responds immediately to cues.7. Indoor BehaviorIndoors, Fred is calm, quiet, and relaxed. He settles easily and is not clingy or demanding. He is aneasy, gentle house companion.8. Strengths• affectionate once bonded• gentle with treats• good with dogs• responsive to cues• house-trained• calm in the car• playful outdoors, mellow indoors• emotionally attuned• intelligent and sensitive• checks in often• settles beautifully after exercise9. ChallengesFred’s challenges include fear-based reactivity, separation anxiety, environmental sensitivity, and need for slow introductions.10. Ideal HomeFred thrives with someone experienced, patient, and consistent, who can support gradual alone-time training and provide a stable environment. 11. Why Fred Is Worth ItFred is loving, sensitive, intelligent, and deeply loyal when he feels safe. He shows immense heart and tries hard to do well. Please contact:  Lara208-629-9768 hannonlara@gmail.comVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 16, 2026, 8:28 pm

Story
Bailey is a loving and energetic dog who is looking for a new home! She is an extremely smart and playful dog who love cuddles, fetch, and treats of any sort. At her core she is anxious and sweet and constantly looks for love and safety from those around, and we are hoping we can find someone here who can give that to her. Bailey is very energetic (border collie mix) and loves to be active. She loves playing tug-of-war and brain games but her absolute favorite activity is fetch with tennis balls. She is great off-leash and so we often go to parks where she runs around off-leash chasing tennis balls and rolling in the grass. A typical day for Bailey begins with an excursion to the park where she can play fetch and run around in the grass before coming home to have breakfast. If you are working from home on a particular day she may get a midday walk to stretch her legs and use the bathroom. She gets an evening walk around the city where she can get some more exercise in and some mental stimulation. Finally, before bed she goes outside briefly one last time before going to sleep. Bailey`s ideal home would involve new loving parents that have access to a good size yard or take the time to take her to parks/hiking. Being a border collie she is not suited for first-time dog owners or those without the capacity to fulfill her physical and mental needs. That being said, active households who like being outside and have the time to play games with her even inside are the best situations for her. She currently lives with a cat and they cohabitate fine. She can get a little reactive and overwhelmed with high-energy dogs that don`t respect her space at first. Bailey is house-trained and knows many commands. This includes basic obedience commands like sit, down, and roll, but also knows more advanced `tricks` like sit-pretty. She used to have separation anxiety but once she feels comfortable with her surroundings and parents she becomes much more relaxed. She does however not do well in crates . Bailey is spayed and up-to-date on all her vaccinations. Additionally, she has no health concerns and is a very healthy dog according to her vet. Things to Remember About Her ? Personality: She is a very anxious but loving dog. She will be nervous in new environments and with new people for some time, during which she will likely be more reserved, quiet, and have less energy. Once she feels safe with her people and her home her personality WILL change. She will become much mor

Fast forward thru almost 4 YEARS of misery and puppies, we were saved!!! I was saved with 9 newborn puppies and my sister/daughter/ cousin, etccc Princess and HER 9 PUPPIES TOO! We landed safe and sound at the rescue! We are now gorgeous girls and all pups grown and adopted! Now its time for me!! I am a single gal, and really don't like other dogs in my business. I want to be the Queen of the house :D Adopt me and I will fill YOUR home with my love and devotion. Story
Dottie and Akita were born on January 15th, 2026 and are some of the fluffiest, cuddliest big girls. Weighing in at over 15 lbs as of March 22nd, these girls we believe will be over 70 lbs once full grown. Their mom is a 60 lb border collie/lab mix, dad is a traveling milk man. Dottie and Akita are the last 2 of the puppies from the litter remaining. Both girls love other dogs! We encourage another dog in the home for socialization, but it is not needed as these girls are just so friendly and outgoing. They have been introduced to cats and if anything, they are more scared of the cats than anything. The cats want to snuggle up and they run away. They would do wonderful in a home with cats too, and more likely small animals as they have ZERO prey drive. Dottie and Akita are learning house training and do wonderful with crate training at night. They sleep a solid 8 hours in their crate with no issues. They are curious and too smart for their own good. They want to explore everywhere they can and like to slip through their puppy panels to go gallivant around other areas of the house and backyard. Both girls need plenty of exercise as they are both very active. They would be AMAZING with children. Akita – She looks more like a Norwegian elk hound – She is way more outgoing and rambunctious than Dottie. She is very confident and would do fine with no other dogs in the home. Loves her belly to be rubbed. Never leaves her sister alone. A great dog to take on adventures as she likes to go and go and go. First one to try anything. A dog that would rather ask for forgiveness than permission. Bold and beautiful. WATER DOG 100% - will sit in water bowls and anything she can, water related Dottie – Looks more like a St. Bernard mix – She was timid the first 24 hours and then flourished after. We do recommend another dog in the home with Dottie as she is not as confident as Akita. Dottie is curious but will hang back and let Akita try everything first, very smart. Will ask permission before forgiveness. Loyal. Will become very attached to their human. Likes to lounge around a bit more than Akita but still loves her playing time. If you are looking for a great personality, loyal, smart, playful, VERY food motivated, and all around fantastic active puppies – please consider one of these girls. They will have 2 sets of parvo/distemper vaccines, bordatella, microchip, rabies if old enough, current bravecto (flea/tick prevention), current heartgard, current dewormer, negative fecal, and a clean bill of health from a veterinarian prior to transport. To apply to adopt you can go to our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals out in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. Story
Rocco came to our family in 2018 from Mahlstedt Ranch in Montana. He is a purebred Australian shepherd that has been a pleasure to own for the past 8 years. Rocco is very affectionate and obedient, he is anxious to please. He loves herding our other dogs and chasing after any animals that lurk by his domain, he would love a job. Rocco does well on a leash, but doesn't always need it. He is house trained and has a submissive personality.
