Story
I’ve had Mickey since he was a 3 week old puppy. I’ve had the best times of my life with him. Mickey is loving and caring once he gets to know you. He is very territorial and protective of his home and owners. Mickey is very smart listens to commands. The only issue with Mickey is that he is aggressive with strangers he will try to bite a stranger that he doesn’t know and will bark a lot if someone he doesn’t know gets near him. Mickey was not aggressive when he was younger but ever since he was neutered he got this way. The reason why I am rehoming Mickey is because I have a toddler and a baby on the way and every time Mickey barks when someone knocks on the door he’s very loud and startles my toddler and scares him. I never have Mickey out when my toddler is playing around due to Mickeys behavior. I also can’t afford Mickeys vet care right now. If anyone is interested please let me know, like I said he is very loving and caring once he gets to know you.

"She ran calling "WILD.....FIRE"!! That is a haunting song.... I promise, though..I am not a HAUNTER!! But I may love to run around and around and AROUND :) I am a puppy! I am so sweet and cuddly, when i finish running around ;) I have plenty of energy so you HAVE to be ready to burn it off with mental and physical exercise. I am SMART too! Teach me who you want me to be and I will learn! I was found with 4 siblings living (dumped) at the Home Depot...but it was a LUCKY BREAK, cause we were seen by the husband of a rescuer and we got SAVED! Now I am in my foster home and learning the "ropes" ;) Potty training is getting better every day, I mean our foster mom takes us out often for potty control and I am really working hard to wait for the next jaunt outside! I also am crate training too! I don't like to pee or poop where I sleep- as long as I don't eat right before bed and go outside as soon as I wake up I am doing great!! I seriously am ready for my family, I LOVE to play and am great with all dogs big, small, old or babies. AND i have one half BLUE EYE!! The better to see you with, my new family! :) ADOPT ME SOON!! Story
Meet Wiley! Wiley is an approximately 1.5 year old Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix (best guess) with a happy personality and a very smart mind. He is an active boy who is always ready for his next adventure and would thrive with a family that understands the needs of intelligent working breeds. Wiley is high energy and will need a breed knowledgeable owner committed to continuing his training and providing both mental and physical stimulation. He is eager to learn and already does pretty well on a leash. With consistency and structure, Wiley has the potential to become an incredible companion. He would do best with an active family that enjoys walks, outdoor activities, training, and keeping their dogs engaged. Wiley is the kind of dog who wants to be involved in life right alongside his people. Wiley is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventions. Now, before we go any further into my story.... let me warn you...it contains heartache and then some puppies, and fear and even some hopelessness. We do go to the top of the mountain as well, so hold in for the wild ride of my life:) maybe you will get to be my happily ever after.... So I was born a poor border collie mixed pup, in the miserable heat, in a disgusting backyard. To a mama that could have been so beautiful, if she had been brushed and cared for.... Fast forward thru almost 4 YEARS of misery and puppies, we were saved!!! I was saved with 9 newborn puppies and my sister/daughter/ cousin, etccc Princess and HER 9 PUPPIES TOO! We landed safe and sound at the rescue! We are now gorgeous girls and all pups grown and adopted! Now its time for me!! I am a single gal, and really don't like other dogs in my business. I want to be the Queen of the house :D Adopt me and I will fill YOUR home with my love and devotion. Story
Ruby is a bright, sparkling gem ready to be adopted! She is a unique black labrador/border collie mix, with high energy and a goofball personality, with a white stripe down her snout! She has a heart of gold with whipped cream on top :) Ruby was found with her friend Lucy, they were both left out in the country, luckily by a rescuer's home. She fed and worked with them for a couple of weeks before they were able to get into the rescue and the rest is a BIG FUTURE!! Ruby LOVES to play tug of war with her friends all the time and I really would be best with another calm and confident dog to help keep her busy and tired. She is best in an outgoing, outdoor loving family, maybe YOURS??? Ruby is waiting........ :D Local adoption fee is $300(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Oreo Cookies are da BEST cookies ever! And i are one of them :D So you now know all about me ;) Except the creamy center, which may explain why i am in a rescue looking for a furever home.. It isn't my fault ;( I mean, picture this..... there i was, minding my own business... and my mom and dad sit me down to tell me that they are getting a divorce :( And my mom, brother and I will be homeless soon :( :( what do you do??? I was lucky enough to find a rescue that was able to help me be safe and loved. (my mom and brother found a safe place too) Oreo is a sweet senior whose tail never stops wagging. Unfortunately, Oreo doesn't see well so until she's familiar with a space she bumps into things but never gives up. She likes being outside & exploring a new place & will follow a voice around an open space. Oreo is a very gentle, calm girl who'll be a perfect addition to any home. She's house, crate & leash trained. She loves people & car rides. If you're that person who needs company on a leisurely walk around the block or a snuggly movie buddy Oreo is your girl. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
If interested in Sam, apply here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/CPAR/Dog At 9 months old and 34 lbs, Sam is an adorable fluffy Sato with a happy spirit and a playful personality that makes him impossible not to love. A Sato is a Puerto Rican street dog, known for being resilient, intelligent, and incredibly loyal companions. Sam was found all alone on the streets of Puerto Rico, but even then he was the happiest little puppy, always wagging his tail and ready to make friends. Despite his rough start, he has held onto his joyful, optimistic personality and brings that same energy everywhere he goes. He has a beautiful fluffy coat, expressive eyes, and a fun loving personality. Sam can initially be a little shy in new situations, but he warms up quickly and soon shows off his sweet, goofy side. He loves toys, enjoys staying active, and is always ready for playtime or an adventure. Sam does great with kids and other dogs and would love a family that enjoys an active companion. He is crate trained and currently working on leash and potty training. We suspect there may be some Border Collie in him because he loves trying to gently herd his humans while out on walks, which only adds to his charm and personality. Sam is looking for a loving family ready to continue helping him learn and thrive while giving him the happy life he deserves. Sam is being fostered in Stoney Beach, MD. PLEASE READ: Any dog that is house or potty trained will still need patience in a new home with new people and a new schedule. Please be ready to train ANY dog you adopt! Also, please understand we can not guarantee breed or full grown size of any young dog or puppy. Thank you for understanding.

Story
If you`re looking for a sweet older gentleman with impeccable manners, a love of snackos, and killer puppy face, look no further than Gumbo! He may be 12 years old, but he`s got plenty of pep and lots of love to give. He enjoys a leisurely stroll to take in all the new smells, and if you stop by some grass he`ll entertain you with a couple rolls and leg kicks (which is Gumbo for `please rub my belly!`). He has received a thorough vetting with AARF and he is as healthy as can be! Since he has had skin issues, we are recommending a neutral protein diet - fish, lamb, or turkey - but he`s not picky, he loves all food! The only med he`ll need to take in his forever home are once a day joint supplements, which he takes like a champ with peanut butter. He loooves peanut butter! He is being fostered in a home with cats who enjoy snuggling with him on the couch, and stealing his food. Gumbo couldn`t care less! He`s met dogs of varying energy levels and responds with the same low-key tail wags and sniffs to each of them. He loves walking into a room of people and greeting each person one by one to test out their booty scritching skills, and seems particularly drawn to kids. Even though he`s an older pup, we think he`d be happy in a family or with another doggo, so he can choose to participate or nap on the couch - whichever mood he`s in. He loves a work from home person so that he can nap by your feet (ahem, monitor your work productivity). He is fully house trained and goes easily into his crate with a treat, but is also a very respectful boy who chooses naps over chaos when left alone.Gumbo also loves car rides! Like, loves car rides. He`s a perfect backseat passenger who loves to poke his snout out the window and feel the wind in his fur. We aren`t sure what his first 12 years were like, and at least the most recent years were tough on the poor guy, but he`s proven that he`s got a zest and love for the softer, sweeter life. Will that be with you?If you’d like to take Gumbo home, please fill out an adoption application at this link – https://animalalliesrescue.org/dog-application. The adoption fee is $150 and covers all expenses needed to prepare dogs like this one for their forever homes. By the time you meet them, they’ve already been spayed/neutered (if age-appropriate) and microchipped. They’ve been checked by a veterinarian and are up to date on necessary vaccinations, including Rabies and DHLPP. They have also been tes

Loki is an amazing dog. I actually temporarily rescued him because of my friends living situation. I want to see this lovely boy is a good home. He is smart and witty but also very chill. He gets along great with my 4 year old Aussie who always has an attitude problem! Haha. He is 7months old Puppy pad trained. Have been working with him on outside and he is doing well. Learns very quickly. Taught him to sit in a day. He listens well to corrections from other dogs. Not overly dominant whatsoever.

Story
Hi! I'm Ozzie... and I think you're looking for me. I'm about six months old, I'm a Blue Heeler puppy, and I've been told I'm the laid-back one in the family. Don't get me wrong—I still love to play, explore, and have puppy fun, but compared to my brother Morty, I'm a little more of the "let's see how this goes" kind of guy. Think of me as the cool customer. My life didn't start out the way every puppy dreams it will. My brother, two adult female dogs, and I were abandoned at a trailer park. No family. No warm bed. No one making sure we had food or water. The four of us stuck together and did our best to survive while waiting for someone to notice we needed help. Thankfully, someone did. Now that I'm safe, my true personality is shining through. I'm discovering how wonderful people can be, and I have to say...I like this new life a whole lot better! Being a Red Heeler means I come with some pretty awesome features. I'm smart (sometimes a little too smart), I love learning, and I enjoy having things to do. Whether it's figuring out a puzzle toy, learning a new command, going for walks, or hanging out with my people, I'm happiest when I'm included. Heelers are famous for being loyal, and I plan to take that job very seriously. Even though I'm still a puppy, I already know that life's greatest adventures are meant to be shared. I'm looking for someone who'll teach me new things, laugh at my puppy antics, and give me the love I've been missing. In return, I'll be your faithful companion through every walk, road trip, lazy afternoon, and exciting adventure. I may be the calmer brother, but don't mistake that for boring. I still have plenty of puppy energy, a playful streak, and a goofy side that comes out when I'm comfortable. I just happen to believe life is best enjoyed with a little less chaos and a little more tail wagging. I've already survived the hardest part of my story. Now all I need is the best part... A family to call my own. Could that family be yours? I promise I'll spend the rest of my life proving you made the right choice. Local adoption fee is $350 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $650 (includes transport to your area)
