Story
Now, before we go any further into my story.... let me warn you...it contains heartache and then some puppies, and fear and even some hopelessness. We do go to the top of the mountain as well, so hold in for the wild ride of my life:) maybe you will get to be my happily ever after.... So I was born a poor border collie mixed pup, in the miserable heat, in a disgusting backyard. To a mama that could have been so beautiful, if she had been brushed and cared for.... Fast forward thru almost 4 YEARS of misery and puppies, we were saved!!! I was saved with 9 newborn puppies and my sister/daughter/ cousin, etccc Princess and HER 9 PUPPIES TOO! We landed safe and sound at the rescue! We are now gorgeous girls and all pups grown and adopted! Now its time for me!! I am a single gal, and really don't like other dogs in my business. I want to be the Queen of the house :D Adopt me and I will fill YOUR home with my love and devotion. Story
Dottie and Akita were born on January 15th, 2026 and are some of the fluffiest, cuddliest big girls. Weighing in at over 15 lbs as of March 22nd, these girls we believe will be over 70 lbs once full grown. Their mom is a 60 lb border collie/lab mix, dad is a traveling milk man. Dottie and Akita are the last 2 of the puppies from the litter remaining. Both girls love other dogs! We encourage another dog in the home for socialization, but it is not needed as these girls are just so friendly and outgoing. They have been introduced to cats and if anything, they are more scared of the cats than anything. The cats want to snuggle up and they run away. They would do wonderful in a home with cats too, and more likely small animals as they have ZERO prey drive. Dottie and Akita are learning house training and do wonderful with crate training at night. They sleep a solid 8 hours in their crate with no issues. They are curious and too smart for their own good. They want to explore everywhere they can and like to slip through their puppy panels to go gallivant around other areas of the house and backyard. Both girls need plenty of exercise as they are both very active. They would be AMAZING with children. Akita – She looks more like a Norwegian elk hound – She is way more outgoing and rambunctious than Dottie. She is very confident and would do fine with no other dogs in the home. Loves her belly to be rubbed. Never leaves her sister alone. A great dog to take on adventures as she likes to go and go and go. First one to try anything. A dog that would rather ask for forgiveness than permission. Bold and beautiful. WATER DOG 100% - will sit in water bowls and anything she can, water related Dottie – Looks more like a St. Bernard mix – She was timid the first 24 hours and then flourished after. We do recommend another dog in the home with Dottie as she is not as confident as Akita. Dottie is curious but will hang back and let Akita try everything first, very smart. Will ask permission before forgiveness. Loyal. Will become very attached to their human. Likes to lounge around a bit more than Akita but still loves her playing time. If you are looking for a great personality, loyal, smart, playful, VERY food motivated, and all around fantastic active puppies – please consider one of these girls. They will have 2 sets of parvo/distemper vaccines, bordatella, microchip, rabies if old enough, current bravecto (flea/tick prevention), current heartgard, current dewormer, negative fecal, and a clean bill of health from a veterinarian prior to transport. To apply to adopt you can go to our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals out in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. We do adopt in Central US and the East Coast. The adoption fee listed INCLUDES transport from Texas to the location where this animal is posted in. Transport goes to the following locations every 2-3 weeks Albany, NY Wells and Brattleboro, VT Willington, Enfield, New Haven and Dayville, CT Port Chester, NY Dayon and Akron, OH Grove City and Bloomsburg, PA Ridgefield and Mt Laurel, NJ White Marsh and Falls Church, MD We have happily adopted hundreds of animals this way (long distance), and we do our best to make sure the animal you are applying for is best fit for your home.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Fred is very smart, loving and loyal 4-year-old tricolor border collie mix who unfortunately needs a new home.  He was originally adopted by someone from a shelter in DC.  They were not experienced with the breed and gave him to another family who love him dearly but do not have the time or resources to provide him the attention, exercise and training that he needs and deserves.  After all this change, he is still a very loving dog.  He takes treats gently, he is good on a leash, settles well after outings, and will chill in the house with his person(s). Fred enjoys other dogs; he is playful with all types and sizes. He does well at daycare and at the dog park. His current family loves him very much but are hoping to find an experienced, patient, consistent and loving family or person who understand and have experience with the highly intelligent and active border collie breed.   He is a sensitive dog and needs time to adjust and trust. A quiet/peaceful yet active home environment would be great. He loves sniffy walks and post-walk zoomies, followed by chilling out near his person(s). He is very sweet once comfortable but suffers from separation anxiety and has some fear anxiety with new people, but once he know his person he is very gentle. One of his previous owners worked with a trainer with good success on the separation anxiety and occasional aggression when his boundaries were not honored by a new person, which shows that Fred is willing and able to learn what he needs to in order to be a great canine citizen.  He already knows SIT, LEAVE IT and LETS GO. A family or person who have the time and environment to work with Fred and give him a happy and fulfilling life will be rewarded with a devoted and loving special companion. A trainer reference is available. PLEASE NOTE : THE DOG LISTED IS SHOWN AS A COURTESY TO ANOTHER ORGANIZATION OR FOR AN INDIVIDUAL WHO NEEDS TO FIND A NEW HOME FOR THEIR DOG. Story
Meet Ellie! ?? This adorable 1½-year-old Shepherd/Husky/Sheltie mix is a medium-sized (30lb) beauty with striking black, tan, and white fur and soulful brown eyes. Ellie came into foster care a little underweight but is gaining nicely and otherwise completely healthy. Once she feels comfortable, she blossoms into a happy, playful young dog who loves walks, toys, bones, treats, and being close to her people. She’s smart and food-motivated too - she learned “sit” quickly and is already working on “down” and “off.”Ellie is a top-notch student making great progress on training. In just a couple weeks she’s almost fully housebroken, learning to walk politely on leash, and has even overcome her early fear of the crate (now happily going in, on her own, for treats or a chew). She’s done well meeting other dogs after a slow introduction and has loved every friendly pup she’s met so far (though may need time to get over her initial shyness). Ellie met a cat with simple curiosity, so with proper introductions we think she would co-exist well with the feline contingent. Initially timid with new people, Ellie does best if the person maintains a calm, still demeanor until she feels more comfortable- therefore, we recommend no kids under 10years old - but once she warms up, she is an active, happy dog who loves to play, and will entertain herself with toys and bones (and the occasional bout of mischief). Ellie would do best in a home that will give her time to settle in, continue her training, and ideally provide a kind dog friend or patient humans who let her approach at her own pace. In return, you’ll get a loyal, curious cuddle-bug who’s ready for adventures and lots of love. If you’d like to take this pupper home, please fill out an adoption application at this link – https://animalalliesrescue.org/dog-application. The adoption fee is $350 and covers all expenses needed to prepare dogs like this one for their forever homes. By the time you meet them, they’ve already been spayed/neutered (if age-appropriate) and microchipped. They’ve been checked by a veterinarian and are up to date on necessary vaccinations, including Rabies and DHLPP. They have also been tested for heartworm and tick-borne diseases and have started heartworm and flea preventative medication. Some of our dogs have even undergone extensive medical care to ensure they’re ready for a happy, healthy life with you!

Story
Introducing Zeke, a truly remarkable pup whose heartwarming spirit and playful energy are ready to light up a new home. Zeke is a handsome, resilient boy who, through no fault of his own, found himself searching for a new home. He's more than ready to embark on his next chapter, seeking a loving, forever family to call his own. Zeke is a bundle of joyful energy, known for his silliness and ability to bring a smile to anyone's face. While he may start off shy, it doesn't take long for his true personality to shine through. He quickly becomes an enthusiastic playmate who thrives on the company of other dogs and will gleefully encourage them to play. Zeke is a smart and well-mannered companion. He is potty-trained and comfortable in his crate. He also knows basic commands like "sit" and "go to your room," and his eagerness to please makes him a joy to train further. While he’s working on managing his excitement (which sometimes results in enthusiastic leaps!), his good intentions are always clear. Walks are a highlight of his day, offering him a chance to explore and burn off some of that youthful energy. His barks will let you know precisely when he needs to go outside or when he hears you approaching the door. If you’re seeking an active, affectionate, and charming dog who promises boundless love and entertainment, Zeke could be the perfect addition to your home. Local adoption fee is $200(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)
