WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org ☁️🐶 Meet Sky — Tiny Pup, Big Wiggles, Endless Joy 🐶☁️ Sky is a 3-month-old baby girl (DOB: 11/5/25) with a whole lot of personality packed into one adorable puppy body. Her mom is a Border Collie/Heeler mix (best guess), so you can expect a smart, active girl who’s destined to be the pawfect medium size — big enough for all your adventures and just the right size to still fit perfectly on the couch when the day is done. Sky is the definition of a classic puppy: full of zoomies, curiosity, and hilarious puppy shenanigans. She brings the butt wiggles, the puppy kisses, and the kind of laugh-out-loud moments that make the occasional chewed shoelace totally worth it. Life is her playground, and everything is new, exciting, and possibly a toy. 🐾 Sky’s Puppy Resume: ☁️ 3 months old and growing fast ☁️ Expected medium size when full grown ☁️ Sweet, playful, and full of wiggles ☁️ With proper socialization, should do great with dogs, kids and even cats ☁️ Smart and eager to learn ☁️ Comes fully equipped with tiny shark teeth and ninja nails (standard puppy package 😄) Sky is looking for a family ready to embrace all the joys of puppyhood — the training, the laughs, the snuggles, and the memories you’ll talk about for years to come. She promises to repay you in loyalty, love, and an endless supply of tail wags. 🌈 If you’re ready for adventure, giggles, and a puppy who will grow right alongside your life — Sky is ready to climb straight into your heart and home. ✨ Apply today at haydudeequine.org and let Sky brighten your world! 🐾💙

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Fred is very smart, loving and loyal 4-year-old tricolor border collie mix who unfortunately needs a new home.  He was originally adopted by someone from a shelter in DC.  They were not experienced with the breed and gave him to another family who love him dearly but do not have the time or resources to provide him the attention, exercise and training that he needs and deserves.  After all this change, he is still a very loving dog.  He takes treats gently, he is good on a leash, settles well after outings, and will chill in the house with his person(s). Fred enjoys other dogs; he is playful with all types and sizes. He does well at daycare and at the dog park. His current family loves him very much but are hoping to find an experienced, patient, consistent and loving family or person who understand and have experience with the highly intelligent and active border collie breed.   He is a sensitive dog and needs time to adjust and trust. A quiet/peaceful yet active home environment would be great. He loves sniffy walks and post-walk zoomies, followed by chilling out near his person(s). He is very sweet once comfortable but suffers from separation anxiety and has some fear anxiety with new people, but once he know his person he is very gentle. One of his previous owners worked with a trainer with good success on the separation anxiety and occasional aggression when his boundaries were not honored by a new person, which shows that Fred is willing and able to learn what he needs to in order to be a great canine citizen.  He already knows SIT, LEAVE IT and LETS GO. A family or person who have the time and environment to work with Fred and give him a happy and fulfilling life will be rewarded with a devoted and loving special companion. A trainer reference is available. PLEASE NOTE : THE DOG LISTED IS SHOWN AS A COURTESY TO ANOTHER ORGANIZATION OR FOR AN INDIVIDUAL WHO NEEDS TO FIND A NEW HOME FOR THEIR DOG. Story
Miss Minnie is a beautiful and snuggly puppy! This low-rider mix (maybe some Border Collie?) is enjoying learning about her world. Her foster says that Minnie takes an inquisitive and playful stance when seeing animals from afar, and would likely, very much enjoy a well-matched playmate.  Minnie would do well in a home where she can be walked with regularity and given playtime and training as she is still very much a puppy. Her foster believes that she wold be fine with respectful kids over five-years old. She can be a "bull in a china shop" at times and would possibly step on or knock over smaller ones.  Minnie can be afraid of a quick approach, and needs a stable and calm home, one in which she can feel safe. That being said, she warms up quickly and then sweetly trusts. Minnie will "follow you around and will lean into you or attempt to sit on part of you if you are still," says her foster. She wants to be with her person/people all of the time! She trusts her person and will let him/her take things from her that she shouldn't have. Minnie loves her toys and will run around the house with them, chewing them, tossing them in the air, and bringing them to her foster to engage. Minnie has visited the foster's neighbor, who has a cat, and although it was sleeping upstairs Minnie sniffed all of the cat stuff (beds, scratch pads, etc) with casual interest…..far different than the fixed, assertive stance she takes when near the scent of a squirrel, so she may be able to cohabitate with felines, but we are not yet sure. A townhouse or house would work best, as Minnie loves to run and roam. Minnie's foster believes that an apartment would not be ideal, unless her person worked from home and could offer her good, long walks morning, noon, evening, and night. She would otherwise need a fenced yard and ideally, a playmate.  Minnie has a lot of energy and her foster believes that hound in her will stray if not properly housed and exercised. Minnie's foster believes that this pretty girl was previously spoiled- on laps, in bed with her people, fed table scraps, etc. as she loves attention and treats! Will you be the person to play, snuggle, and treat this young and beautiful Border Collie/hound mix like a princess? PAW adopts in the MD, northern VA, DC, southern PA region. ##2627837##

Story
“Freedom” Very friendly, high-energy heeler mix. Smart, affectionate, and loves to stay busy. I want to be very intentional about finding him the best possible home. He would thrive in a setting with lots of space — ideally a farm, land, or an active household that understands working or herding breeds. A structured environment with regular training would be amazing for him. I’m planning to be out of the country for about a year and want to make sure he has stability, space, and consistency during that time rather than temporary arrangements. He has basic house manners and knows some commands, and would do extremely well with continued training and clear structure. If you have land, an active lifestyle, or experience with high-energy dogs and think you might be a good fit, feel free to reach out. I’m happy to answer questions and take time to make sure it’s the right match for everyone.

Story
Ladybug has a whole lot of joy to share and is happiest when she’s out on a walk, running around, or making new friends who are ready to shower her with love. She soaks up attention, lives for belly rubs, and has a way of making everyone she meets feel like her favorite person. That said, Ladybug knows herself and appreciates humans who do too. While she loves affection, she can feel uncomfortable with more invasive handling like paw touching or exam-style restraint. Because of this, she’s looking for an adult-only home with people who will respect her boundaries and listen when she says she needs a little space. The good news? Ladybug is incredibly smart and very treat-motivated, which makes gentle, positive desensitization a rewarding experience for everyone involved. She’s an active, playful girl who just wants to run, play, and enjoy life with humans who understand her heart. If you’re looking for a loving, lively companion who values trust as much as fun, Ladybug might just be your perfect match. 🐾💛
