Story
They are quite the dynamic duo. Lolo is big sister and protector - of both her human family and her brother Casey. And Casey is the goofball who wants nothing more than to play and give kisses. They are brother and sister and we want them adopted together. They love to spend their time romping in the yard and taking leisurely walks around the ranch. These beautiful and loyal companions would make great additions to an active family. They are fully vaccinated, neutered and spayed, and microchipped for life. They can be transported anywhere in the US or Canada. ##1939561##

ADOPT ME ONLINE: https://ophrescue.org/dogs/13401My name is Jacob and I am guessed to be a 1 year old Border Collie/Lab mix and currently weigh about 65 pounds. Here are some things my foster family has learned about me:- I am a sweet boy who needs time to adjust to new places and people.- Once I know I can trust you, I am a happy loving boy. I am also a "hugger" and greet foster mom with big hugs when I haven't seen her for a while. She says we are going to work on "four on the floor"- I like getting praise, pets and belly rubs from people I know well.- I am very curious and enjoy slowly exploring my foster home and yard (Click here, here, here, here and here to see me in foster care!- When I first arrived, I would retreat to the safety of my crate. Now that I have settled in, I prefer being around my foster family and playing with my furry foster sibling. - I enjoy the company of other dogs. Although I can get overexcited playing with my furry foster sibling, I listen when told to settle down.- I am a smart boy who is eager to please. I know "sit", "come" and "leave it". I am treat motivated and will gently take treats from your hand. Beware, though, I have learned to open lever handled doors and won't hesitate to let myself outside to play.- I love being off leash in a fenced in yard. It takes time for me to trust people enough for them to walk me on a leash. Now that I know my foster family well, I enjoy going for long walks around the neighborhood and do well on a leash. I especially enjoy going for hikes in the woods! I may sit and watch as groups of strangers go by, but then happily continue on my way. I would do best in a quiet neighborhood or area and need a home with a fenced in yard so that I can get comfortable with my new people before needing to walk on a leash.- I have definitely learned the joy of toys. I can entertain myself with chew toys or dissecting squeakers out of plush toys. I like to run outside with my toys, where so I can toss them into the air and pounce after them. I haven't quite figured out fetch, but foster mom says that's OK.- When foster mom is working at her desk, I quietly nap nearby or entertain myself with chew toys. - At night I can either go into my crate with treats or hang out on the sofa and sleep quietly until morning.- I have been doing a great job going potty outside. I am looking for a loving home where I can continue to gain confidence and thrive. I am looking for someone who is patient and understands that I need time to learn to trust them before showing my happy playful side. If that's you, apply today.

ADOPT ME ONLINE: https://ophrescue.org/dogs/13726Hi! My name is Kendall and I arrived to OPH on 7/12/24. I’m guessed to be a Border Collie mixed breed dog approximately 11-month-old gal and weighing about 35 lbs. Here are a few things foster mom has learned about me:- I am very sweet and LOVE people. I charm everyone I meet, melting into them for pets and loving!- I have a lot of curiosity. If you open a drawer or closet I am right there to check it out with you and help you find what you are looking for.- I am a happy fun loving girl who is always up for adventure. I love exploring the yard and playing with my doggie foster sibling. Click here and here to see me with my foster sibling.- Toys are awesome. I have never had so many toys and I like them all. I am learning fetch, but haven't quite figured it out yet. Click here and here to see me learning to play with toys.- When foster mom is working, I can entertain myself or settle down for a long nap.- I am a smart girl who loves treats. I have already learned "sit". I am working on not counter surfing, but it's so tempting as I really want to see what is going on up there.- I enjoy going for walks around the neighborhood. Walks are like a treasure hunt to find new people to meeting. If there is someone in your neighborhood you haven't met yet I can definitely help with that. No one can resist my happy body wiggles and tail wags. Foster mom says I am doing well on a leash too. I have been learning words like "sidewalk" and "cross"(for crossing the street) and "leave it" - when I see a rabbit or find something interesting on the ground. Click here to see on a hike.- I sleep quietly all night in my crate and patiently wait until for foster mom to let me out for the morning.- During the day, I like to play outside or go for a walk and then take a nice nap on my doggie bed.- I am doing an awesome job going potty outside. Although I had an accident in my crate initially, I now tell foster mom when I need to go outside.I am looking for my forever home! Is that with you? Apply to adopt me today!

ADOPT ME ONLINE: https://ophrescue.org/dogs/13748My name is Sylvie Kosovo and I came all the way from Kosovo to be part of a family in the USA….maybe yours! I’m guessed to be a Border Collie mixed breed, about 7 months old, sweet girl and currently weigh about 35 lbs. My foster mom is still getting to know me but so far this is what she has seen. Check back soon for more updates!- I am a gentle and affectionate girl who craves companionship as I navigate through new experiences. - My foster mom describes me as stunning with my beautiful, multi-colored thick fur. - While I am still in the process of learning crate training and potty training, I am making progress each day. - I absolutely adore belly rubs and happily roll over for them!- Interacting with other dogs brings me joy, and I eagerly look forward to meeting new people.- I am still quite young, so I would benefit from a family willing to invest in some basic training, so I can be the best girl!- I've met my foster mom's children and love to give them lots of kisses :*I won’t be available long so make sure you hit that apply button!

Story
Khaleesi is playful, goofy, and loyal. She loves fetch and will bring every toy in the house until you throw one. She has been trained in her obedience skills but struggles around other dogs. So she will do best in a single dog home and with experienced pet owners. Her perfect Sunday would be waking up around 8am and eating out of her snuffle mat, going on a long sniffy hike then taking a nap at home. After waking up she would want to go outside to play fetch/training for a bit before coming inside for dinner in the form of a frozen toppl or lick mat. Then once she’s settled she loves falling asleep cuddling and getting gentle pets. She is very active and a big cuddler so she would do best in an active home with caretakers who don’t mind dedicating time to play and training everyday.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.Nico is a unique dog to say the least! His DNA Wisdom Panel found him to be 59% border collie, with his mother most likely to be 100% pure border collie. He certainly stays true to this breed for sure!  He loves to be busy, or have a job as they call it, by running around the yard and watching everything that moves. He actively plays with our other foster dog, and they can play for hours. He will herd young ones, so no children under 10 for him, because he will lean into them until they go in the direction he wants. Coonhound is 18% of his DNA, which explains his ability to track and follow a scent in our yard. Once he catches the scent of a fox or groundhog, he will bark, but not continuously. If you pretend to howl, he will 'sing' along with you-and that is when you hear his distant hound relatives. Nico is one of the smartest dogs our foster family has ever had. He learned to be house broken in a few days, and knows several commands. He will go in his kennel when told to do so. This is NOT a crate- it is much larger to accommodate his long legs when he stands up. He has good recall-especially if you have a treat! Nico is working on leash walking and is improving every day. Even though he is 72 pounds, he will try to climb up in your lap to get some love. He came in 33% underweight,  and has now learned that he doesn't have to inhale his food.  We put it in his kennel and let him eat by himself so he doesn't feel threatened by other dogs. Nico's perfect home would be one with another active dog that loves to run and play.  He would like to be outside because he loves watching the world go by, but at night, he wants to snuggle in his bed. Just a warning-he yawns loudly!  To keep Nico safe, he will need a yard with a physical fence.  If you are interested in Nico, please fill out an application at: https://reachoutrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=4588    Or contact: rorrcanine@gmail.com   *** Click here to sponsor this dog! ***Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 23, 2024, 10:55 am

Story
Say Hey to Amber. She is a 5 year old spayed Cattle dog mix. Amber came to us with her four babies Amber became very sick due to heartworms and was unable to care for them. The babies were bottle fed so we could treat Amber as soon as possible because that was her best chance for her and them. Amber went through two rounds of treatment and lots of meds. She just tested negative so now is her time to find a family to care and love her really that’s all she wants. She is housebroken. Crate trained. Amber prefers a calm house. She would love to be the only one but would be okay with a mellow friend. She really just wants to please you. Come meet this special girl today!
