Story
Mimi is a ranch favorite. She loves to run and play. She and her best friend Gerry spend hours wrestling and chasing each other. She is very puppy-like. Her ideal home would have an outdoor space for her to play. She would love to have a doggy sister or brother. She would fit into size family. She would be a great walking companion or any other adventure you have planned. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. She can travel anywhere in the US and Canada. ##1760149##

Story
They are quite the dynamic duo. Lolo is big sister and protector - of both her human family and her brother Casey. And Casey is the goofball who wants nothing more than to play and give kisses. They are brother and sister and we want them adopted together. They love to spend their time romping in the yard and taking leisurely walks around the ranch. These beautiful and loyal companions would make great additions to an active family. They are fully vaccinated, neutered and spayed, and microchipped for life. They can be transported anywhere in the US or Canada. ##1939561##

Story
ADOPT ME ONLINE: https://ophrescue.org/dogs/13401My name is Jacob and I am guessed to be a 1 year old Border Collie/Lab mix and currently weigh about 54 pounds. Here are some things my foster family has learned about me:- I am a sweet boy who is initially shy and needs time to adjust to new places and people.- Once I know I can trust you, I am a happy loving boy. I like to sit beside the people I trust and give kisses. I am also a "hugger" and greet foster mom with big hugs when I haven't seen her for a while. She says we are going to work on "four on the floor"- I like getting praise, pets and belly rubs. - I am very curious and enjoy slowly exploring my foster home and yard (Click here, here, here, here and here to see me in foster care!- When I first arrived, I would retreat to the safety of my crate, but now prefer being around my foster family. - I am a smart boy who is eager to please. I know "sit" and "come". I have also learned to open lever handled doors and recognize the sound of my treat bag opening. I am treat motivated and will gently take treats from your hand.- I enjoy the company of other dogs. Although I can get overexcited playing with my furry foster sibling, I listen when told to settle down.- When foster mom is working at her desk, I quietly nap or entertain myself with chew toys. - I have only had one accident in my crate when I first arrived, but since then have been going potty outside. - I am most comfortable off leash in a fenced in yard, but I now like going for walks on a leash. I especially enjoy going for hikes in the woods! As I have gained confidence, I now enjoy walking around the neighborhood. I may sit and watch as groups of strangers go by, but then happily continue on my way. Even so, I would do best in a quiet neighborhood or area.- I have definitely learned the joy of toys. I can entertain myself with chew toys or dissecting squeakers out of plush toys. Outside I like to toss toys in the air and pounce after them. I haven't quite figured out fetch, but foster mom says that's OK.- At night I can either go into my crate with treats or hang out on the sofa and sleep quietly until morning.I am looking for a loving home where I can continue to gain confidence and thrive. I am looking for someone who is patient and understands that I just need time to learn to trust them before showing my happy playful side. If that's you, apply today.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.Nico is a unique dog to say the least! His DNA Wisdom Panel found him to be 59% border collie, with his mother most likely to be 100% pure border collie. He certainly stays true to this breed for sure!  He loves to be busy, or have a job as they call it, by running around the yard and watching everything that moves. He actively plays with our other foster dog, and they can play for hours. He will herd young ones, so no children under 10 for him, because he will lean into them until they go in the direction he wants. Coonhound is 18% of his DNA, which explains his ability to track and follow a scent in our yard. Once he catches the scent of a fox or groundhog, he will bark, but not continuously. If you pretend to howl, he will 'sing' along with you-and that is when you hear his distant hound relatives. Nico is one of the smartest dogs our foster family has ever had. He learned to be house broken in a few days, and knows several commands. He will go in his kennel when told to do so. This is NOT a crate- it is much larger to accommodate his long legs when he stands up. He has good recall-especially if you have a treat! Nico is working on leash walking and is improving every day. Even though he is 72 pounds, he will try to climb up in your lap to get some love. He came in 33% underweight,  and has now learned that he doesn't have to inhale his food.  We put it in his kennel and let him eat by himself so he doesn't feel threatened by other dogs. Nico's perfect home would be one with another active dog that loves to run and play.  He would like to be outside because he loves watching the world go by, but at night, he wants to snuggle in his bed. Just a warning-he yawns loudly!  To keep Nico safe, he will need a yard with a physical fence.  If you are interested in Nico, please fill out an application at: https://reachoutrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=4588    Or contact: rorrcanine@gmail.com   *** Click here to sponsor this dog! ***Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 24, 2024, 8:20 pm

Story
Meet Murphy, our adorable little Border Collie Mix boy puppy who was rescued from a small town shelter where he was under weight and riddled with internal parasites.  His future was very bleak but now Murphy has been treated and is a healthy, happy little guy free of parasites and gaining weight like a puppy should.  Born around November 1st, he is approximately 10 weeks old (as of Jan 5th) and weighs 12 pounds.  He is expected to reach around 40 pounds as an adult.  He is friendly with all humans (toddlers included), dogs and cats that he has been in contact with.  Murphy is curious, playful and very loveable and is quite the talker.  Murphy seems to be the most curious of his siblings.  His foster mom believes he is mixed with many different breeds that are smart and inquisitive.  If you are interested please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.April 23, 2024, 4:30 pm
