Hi! I'm Anabelle. I'm a 9 year old Border Collie Black Lab mix. She is a gentle and loving dog who likes to be around people. Anabelle loves to go on walks and be outside. She is afraid of storms and the sound of shooting guns and will want to be inside if either of those occur. She is great with kids and people and when properly and slowly introduced to dogs she is fine. She is looking for a loving home where she can get the attention she deserves! This gal loves people and dogs. She is an energetic and happy pup. She will do best in a home with another dog pal her size that likes to play. She is crate trained, leash trained and likes car rides. She will do best in a home with an active family and with a securely fenced yard. L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 800,000 homeless pets. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Kestrel arrived at our shelter on 6/5/2026 as a transfer from one of our rescue friends. He was in a small impound and needed a place to go. He's around 6 months old and appears to be a shepherd mix of some type. He's a really nice boy who currently weighs around 35 pounds and does have a little growing left to do. He will be vet checked and neutered on June 18th and his fee is $150. Kestrel is a loving and happy pup who will need some basic training. He's at a great age for training and should learn quickly. We do think he'd do well with other dogs and is young enough to learn to interact well with cats. He will need regular exercise as he is a young dog. He's a honey who would make a great companion! NOTE:  Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.
