Story
Felizah is a pint-sized firecracker with enough personality and energy to keep life wonderfully entertaining. She may have been given a little too much freedom early on, so she's still learning the basics-polite greetings, patience for treats, and which behaviors earn the biggest smiles. This spunky girl is incredibly treat-motivated, stays close to her people, and is already starting to figure out fetch. With consistent basic obedience training, plus plenty of mental and physical enrichment, Felizah will be able to channel her big personality into an amazing companion. In playgroup, she's a little firecracker who loves rough-and-rowdy puppy fun, enthusiastically bouncing into everyone's business. She'd love an equally playful canine buddy who appreciates her spirited, full-speed approach to friendship. She is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and will be spayed prior to going home. If you have dogs or cats, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times. If you're interested in learning more about her, please reach out to our volunteer matchmakers at wcac.matchmaker@gmail.com with the subject line "Felizah, 270113". This pup is eligible for our Test the Couch program — a 7-day trial adoption to see if your home (and your couch) is the perfect fit. Learn more  https://pipsrescue.org/test-the-couch/ Sasha the Snuggle-Pup – “Fluffy, Fun, and Full of Personality!” By: CozyDogMom Wow. Just wow. Sasha has the softest, floofiest coat I’ve ever experienced—like hugging a cloud that wants to play fetch. She’s goofy in the best way and is always game for an adventure (or a nap). Highly recommend if you’re looking for a cuddle buddy with a dash of sass!   Trick-Learning Prodigy – “Smart, silly, and training like a champ.” By: FirstTimePupTrainer Sasha picks up on commands FAST. She’s eager to please and super treat-motivated. We’re working on “sit,” “stay,” and “don’t chew the shoe,” and she’s nailing it. She does test boundaries (toddler energy!), but with consistency, she thrives. If you love training sessions, she’s your girl.   Best with Big-Dog Buddies – ½ “Loves confident canine companions—but no cats, please.” By: PackLeaderVibes Sasha truly shines around other confident dogs her size or bigger. She takes cues from them beautifully and gains confidence quickly. But homes with cats or small dogs? Not her vibe. She’s got a big personality and needs friends who can match her energy.   Kid-Friendly-ish – “Great with older kids, not for toddlers.” By: DogDadWithTeens Sasha adores kids—but younger ones might find her a bit too clever for comfort! She does best with older children who can stick to consistent commands and not let her sneak an extra treat (or three). Think “fun-loving puppy meets tiny lawyer.”   All the Essentials Included – “Vaccinated, spayed, and ready to move in.” By: ReadyToAdopt Fully vetted, spayed, and healthy—this pup is as turnkey as they come. No assembly required (unless you count assembling a toy collection for her). Sasha is absolutely adoption-ready!   Final Verdict: A Must-Adopt! – “She’s not just a good dog—she’s a great dog.” By: FutureBestFriend If you’re looking for a sweet, smart, fun-loving pup who thrives on affection and structure, Sasha is the perfect pick. No cats, no tiny dogs—but tons of love and laughter guaranteed. ##2056176##

Learn more  https://pipsrescue.org/test-the-couch/ Meet Jolene: The Main Character. Always. At just 36 pounds, Jolene is compact enough to fit in your car, your lap, and your heart—but not your social calendar if it includes other dogs. She’s not here for pack life. She’s here to be your one and only, your ride-or-die, your queen bee. Other dogs? Hard pass. Jolene wants the spotlight, and honestly, she deserves it. She’s currently boarding with a trainer and crushing it—learning the ropes, snuggling her stuffies, and plotting world domination (or at least domination of your couch). She has energy for days, so if your lifestyle is more “let’s hike this trail” and less “let’s binge-watch eight seasons of a show without moving,” she’s your girl. Jolene is accepting applications for: Humans who enjoy brisk walks, stuffed toy destruction, and unwavering loyalty. Households with no other pets (her words, not ours: “I will not be sharing my throne.”) Anyone who has ever looked at a dog and thought, “you might just be a tiny, unbothered celebrity.” Think you’re the chosen one? Apply to foster or adopt at pipsrescue.org. Just don’t bring any other dogs with you. Jolene will see them. She will judge.  $100 of her adoption fee is being sponsored by Ricci Law Firm Injury Lawyers, so her adoption fee is $225  ##1611630##

Story
We’re looking for someone to provide adequate exercise, space, and enrichment for an adult male border collie mix. He is an incredibly friendly dog once he settles down and gets familiar with people. While he is a reactive dog, he is just playful and has no history of aggression or biting. He is a very loyal dog and will love you with all his heart. We adopted him as a puppy so he might take a while to get used to his new family. He is very sweet and loving, but might be scared when you first meet him. He is a huge fan of squeaky toys, playing tug of war, and going on long walks in nature. His birthday is May 1, 2021.

Story
(DOB 03/05/2025) Meet Snow.  She is a high-octane bundle of joy wrapped in a sleek, athletic Border Collie mix body. If you’re looking for a dog who will greet you like you’re the best thing that’s ever happened—every single time—Snow is your girl. She’s ALWAYS excited to see her people, and her signature move? Launching herself impressively high into the air just to say hello. It’s equal parts hilarious and heart-melting. Underneath all that energy is a total lovebug. Snow lives for attention and belly rubs, and once she’s had her zoomies, she’ll happily melt at your feet to soak up all the affection you’re willing to give. True to her breed mix, Snow is incredibly smart, agile, and eager to work. She’d make an amazing running partner and would absolutely thrive in a home interested in exploring dog sports—especially agility, where she can put her athleticism and quick mind to good use. Snow is dog-friendly and enjoys canine companions, but she does have a healthy prey drive, so she’s looking for a home without cats or small critters. She’s crate trained and does well with house training when kept on a consistent routine. Because of her enthusiastic jumping style, Snow would do best in a home with older kids. She’ll also need an outlet for her energy—either a home with a tall fenced yard or a committed plan for regular doggie daycare or structured exercise. If you’re active, adventurous, and looking for a loyal sidekick who will keep life fun, fast-paced, and full of love, Snow is ready to leap right into your heart (and probably a little into your personal space, too!). As part of Snow’s $300 adoption fee, she will be spayed, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. If you have questions about this sweet girl, you can email: Dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org. If you wish to adopt Snow, you can complete an application online for her under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website: www.pawsforlifenc.org. ##2710837##
