Meet Griddle!! He came in as a stray on 5/29/26. We think he is about 10 months old. He has gorgeous blue eyes and he is tall and lanky. He isn't done growing yet and he seems like he is still learning how to adjust to his growth spurts. He obviously has never walked on a leash so that is a learning curve for him. Practice makes perfect and he is starting to catch on. He is sweet and friendly and goofy. He is just a pup so he will need someone willing to teach him everything he needs to know to be a wonderful companion. He is available for adoption so hurry in to meet him! In the Prison Dog Program Meet Damian!! He came in as a stray on 11/16/25, and we think he’s about 3 years old. This is actually his second time here—he was adopted from us in 2023. We aren't sure why his owner hasn’t come in to pick him up, but what we do know is that Damian is ready to start fresh with someone who truly sees his sparkle. Damian is a high-energy, happy-go-lucky guy who just needs someone who can help him channel all that enthusiasm into fun, love, and adventure. He is super sweet, incredibly friendly, and he gives the kind of gentle kisses that melt your heart on contact. He already knows how to sit and shake, and he’s eager to learn more—especially if treats are involved! Damian is housebroken and crate trained. He is available for adoption, so hurry in to meet this lovable boy who’s hoping his next home is his forever one. Meet CJ! CJ is a handsome 43-pound Lab mix who is estimated to be 2-3 years old. This gentle boy arrived at our shelter with his brother, Frankie, after their beloved owner passed away. Their owner`s landlord lovingly cared for both dogs until they could be safely surrendered to our shelter.CJ has been an absolute sweetheart since arriving. While he`s excited to get outside and enjoy some fresh air, he`s the calmer of the two brothers and has a gentle, easygoing personality that makes him a joy to be around. With his medium energy level, CJ enjoys spending time outdoors, taking leisurely walks, and would be perfectly content lounging in a sunny spot. In fact, his dream home would include a fenced yard where he can safely explore, stretch out, and soak up the sunshine.CJ walks nicely on a leash, making him an excellent companion for neighborhood strolls or peaceful walks through the park. He has been a polite and sweet shelter guest, winning over everyone he meets with his kind nature.CJ is reported to be dog-friendly.
