Story
Meet Callie! Callie is a playful, sweet, energetic five month old mixed breed! This petite gal would love a fenced-in yard to run and play. Callie loves playing fetch with tennis balls. She also loves her squeaky toys and keeps herself quite busy with toys and chew bones. Callie is a good girl and is working on potty training and going to the door when she needs to go out. Callie is crate trained and sleeps in her crate all night. She loves playing with her foster siblings and will need some time to warm up with a new pal, but would love to have a playmate! Callie is super smart and has the ability to learn lots - she already knows “sit”, “down” working on “stay”. Story
Tuesday is in a foster home. To meet her, text Rachael at 440-773-0270. Hi! I'm Tuesday, and I'm hoping someone will adopt me! If it would help you decide, along with the meet-and-greet, here's what I know about myself: I'm housebroken! I'm crate-trained! I especially don't mind going into my crate if I have a couple of treat-filled toys to occupy myself when I'm told to "go to your crate. Sometimes I get too excited with treat-filled toys so I like it if they're only used when I'm in my crate. I'm a fast learner! I know a few commands: sit, down, shake paw, stop, stay, no-jump and off (sometimes I get too excited to see someone come home!). I'm used to being told to sit before eating from my food dish, and I know how to ring bells or nudge you if I need to go potty. I love toys! Sometimes I enjoy bringing them to you, sometimes I like fetching them, but sometimes I like taking a toy and being by myself for a while. I enjoy watching birds and squirrels! I like chasing the squirrels in a fenced-in yard! I'm athletic, and I love to accompany someone who's walking, jogging, or running. If you're not into that, my favorite activity happens to be running as fast as I can around a fenced-in yard! I love going for car rides! I love snuggling once I get to know someone, and I know what "kisses means and I'm happy to offer those too once I get to know someone! I'm a little skittish around loud traffic, and with the sound of trains and airplanes, but I'm getting more accustomed to these since I've been pretty active outdoors with my foster mom. I'm also a little skittish with having my teeth looked at, my paws touched, getting sponge baths, and having my collar taken off and put on, but I'm also getting more accustomed to these things too. I've also been working with my foster mom on meeting other dogs and other people when we're out on the trails. Although Tuesday can be around other dogs, we think she'd do best in a home without other dogs or cats. She would also do best with children over 10 years old that will respect her boundaries. Contact Rachael to meet her!

Story
Ozzy was adopted in 2021 by myself and my significant other. Unfortunately, my relationship ended and could not care for two border collies on my own. My parents have fostered Ozzy for the past year and are unable to care for him at their age. Ozzy was previously abused and is sensitive. He is a gentile and snuggly, but also loves to run and be chased.

Story
Dolly came to us as an owner surrender, and can be a little timid at first around new people. She is great for car rides, super sweet and gentle, loves walks and is great on a leash! Dolly loves to play with toys and is generally a pretty laid back dog! Dolly would do well in a patient home with people willing to work with her as she becomes less timid in new situations. Small kids might be a little too much for her. She'd do well with another canine pal to show her the ropes! Fill out an application at www.maggiesmissionrescue.org

Story
Wave is a male Border Collie and Blue Healer mix (75% Border Collie, 25% Blue Healer). We are letting him go because he does not like young children. Waves pros are he is very intelligent, potty trained, listens to commands of quiet, sit, down, heal, out, off, stay, come, roll over, shake, high five and can play fetch like a pro. He can be a very sweet and loveable dog. He has a natural tendency to herd and loves being outside. He is up to date on shots, nutered and has a chip. His cons are he is territorial, barks and growl a lot but responds to "quiet" command. He growls at people he doesn't like yet can be friendly with others. He struggles with sitting down while inside and often follows the kids and myself around the house (tries to herd us).
