Simon is a 6 year old neutered male Border Collie mix. He was found on W. Friendship St. He was not wearing any identification and he is not microchipped. If you know where Simon belongs please call our office at 330-725-9121. The Dog Shelter's adoption fee is $64 (cash or check). All dogs come with DHPP and Bordetella vaccines, microchipped, a current year dog license, and a certificate to be spayed or neutered (The Dog Shelter pays for it). If it is an owner surrender dog, more vaccine information may be provided. Our hours are Monday thru Friday 10AM-12:30PM and 1PM-4PM and Saturdays 10AM to 2PM. You must be present to adopt and have a current approved adoption application.

He has made a lot of progress since coming into our care and we are so proud of him!Percy turns 5 this month (May 2026). He is a Border Collie mix.He is sweet and very intelligent. He will be your best friend for life!The ideal new home will have no cats and at least one other dog. Percy loves friends and gets along great with all dogs!We do not know how he is with small children, but because he can be a little rambunctious, we think older kids or no kids would be better.He is highly trainable. He is 100% housebroken and knows sit, stay, leave it, down, house (to return to the crate), etc.He is learning how to be crate trained (doing really well!) and how to walk on the leash without pulling. He makes great progress every day!The ideal new home will understand that he is a work in progress but that he has a TON of potential!Rehoming because we have 3 cats and they aren't blending well.
