Story
Roxxie and Codie are ready to build the perfect relationship with their forever families.❤️ These beautiful heeler mixes are around 18 months old and around 55lbs. They are the perfect size for snuggles and very respectful with their weight! They had a rough start to life, but their foster mama has been working hard on confidence building and now they are ready to find a wonderful home of their very own!🐾 Codie and Roxxie are timid upon first meeting new people due, but once they warm up all they want are snuggles and loving from their people! They are both athletic and love to zoomie around the yard, and they will tell you how they feel with a bark or a howl. 🤪 These beautiful pups are crate trained and house trained. They sleep great in their crates at night! They are good with other dogs after appropriate introductions and love to go for walks and play with the pups in their foster home.🐶 Their foster mom has a few requests for their forever home! They want a home with a fenced-in yard where they can run and play, a furry sibling or two that have manners and will show them the ropes in their new home, and a family that is there more often than not so they can get comfortable with their new people. They take a little while to warm up, so a patient family is a MUST!🏡 If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at http://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/adopt-form Our rescue pets are fostered in Southern foster homes (unless otherwise stated) and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Our pets are adoptable in Alabama and anywhere along our transport route to Rhode Island. All animals are completely vetted, spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, dewormed, and have a canine heartworm test if over 7 months or feline leukemia/combo test. All animals are microchipped and receive a interstate health certificate prior to transport. Adoption fees help towards this vetting, normal foster expenses, preventatives and sometimes boarding.

Hello, his name is Jasper and he is 9 months. While he is a lovable friendly dog, life threw me a curveball and I cannot provide him the attention that he actually needs. The ideal living situation for him would to be on a farm where he can frolic his little heart out as he is a high energy breed.

Story
Hi! My name is Caine. I’m an Australian Cattle Dog - A blue Heeler. My birthday is July 4th 2022. I’m a very energetic pup who loves toys. I run around all day long with my favorite toy in my mouth. I also LOVE food and am very food motivated. I will try my absolute best to do anything as long as there’s food involved! I’m very good at playing with other dogs. I don’t think I’ve ever been around cats. I also like kids, my favorite is giving them kisses.

Sadie & Sophia are 9 week week old gorgeous puppy's. They are extremely friendly and would just love to be in a "Forever Home." All they want out of life is a nice bed, good food, toys and most of all love & kisses. They are typical pups who love to chase bugs, smell flowers, eat and take long naps. Both girls are in a foster home in Arkansas and would come north upon adoption. Adoption is $250 each and transport is $140 Via Mighty Mutts Shipping.

Story
Koda is a ball of love and energy! He will keep you and your kids running for hours. We are a busy family but he seems to be outrunning us even and has recently started getting more aggressive towards our older animals and cats. He needs a nee family that has lots of land for him to run on! He's always seemed to do fine with younger dogs, loves to play!! I would recommend a home with no cats. We did find out recently he has a class 3 heart murmur, which is fixable but is quite an expensive procedure. This does not effect his daily life, but because of this putting him under Anastasia is dangerous so he is still intact. We want him to go to the perfect family home, small rehoming fee to reflect that. Please reach out with any further questions

These pups are in Carlisle, Pennsylvania too!
