Story
Meet Arwen, a 6-month-old Aussie/Husky mix with a heart as beautiful as her bright eyes! This sweet, smart girl is eager to please and loves learning new things, especially when treats are involved. Arwen has done wonderfully with housetraining and sleeps soundly in her crate all night. She also crates easily during the day for short periods if needed. Arwen is incredibly social and gets along with everyone—cats, kids, men, women, and dogs of all sizes. She’d love to have a playful dog companion in her forever home and is even known to let her smaller foster dog friend win during playtime! While car rides currently make her a bit nervous, she’s improving with each experience and, with time, will likely become more comfortable. Arwen has truly blossomed in her foster home after being found alone, emaciated, and battling skin infections. Thanks to her foster family's care, she’s now a healthy, happy pup with a gorgeous coat and a loving nature, ready for her forever family. Story
Meet Mishka, a 3-month-old Aussie mix with the most fascinating fur, featuring brindle undertones that seem to deepen each day. Also known as 'Little Bear,' Mishka can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but it doesn't take long for her to warm up and show her sweet personality. She absolutely adores the other dogs in her foster home, so a canine companion in her forever home would not only give her a playmate but also help boost her confidence. Mishka is the perfect blend of playful and laid-back. She enjoys snuggling up on the couch for movie time just as much as she loves exploring the yard for her favorite toys. With her calm nature, she patiently sits for treats and will win your heart with her gentle demeanor. If you're looking for a loving and loyal companion, Mishka might be your perfect match! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.***COURTESY LISTING*** Hi, my name is NOVA-LYNN, I was Sadie prior to adoption and I am a twin.  My brother and I were in the same sack at Birth.  Rare but does happen.  I am an 8 month old Australian Shepherd/Boxer mix and am currently 25lbs.  My Mom is now looking to rehome me do to my jumpiness and I have knocked down her 2 yr old daughter and I am not fond of my Mother giving her more attention then me.  I am in the beginning stages of what some may call Separation Anxiety and I also have the Herding tendancy which is not good with the 2 year old.  I am a sweet, on the hyper side, leash trained, crate trained, house trained (I do have an occasional accident), love to go for car rides but I do get sick, love to play and be by your side or in your lap.  I love all people including kids just dont have the mannerisms for young children.  I need an active family and a fenced in yard would be great to help with my Energy level.  I know my basic commands and we are working on me not jumping. I am currently located in Dallastown, PA. If interested in meeting me, please complete an adoption application at:   HTTPS://homewardbound2u.rescuegroups.org If you already have an approved application on file with us, email my Mom at: stacylynner@gmail.com   let her know 1.a little about your family members  2. what your day to day life looks like  3. when you would be able to meet me "Homeward Bound Animal Rescue are licensed and inspected by PA Dept. of Dog Law.  Our license numbers are 4914, 16902 and 16903"Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 16, 2024, 5:16 pm

Story
🐾WALLACE🖤 Wallace is a loving, handsome, 1.5 year old border Collie/husky mix. He is amazing with other dogs & lives with a bunch of them! He does well with cats as long as a clear expectation is made of how he should behave. 🐱 Wallace is house trained and kennel trained, and he walks/runs well on leash! He would do well with older children as long as they are familiar with the breed & ok with potentially being herded. 🐶 This sweet boy thrives with consistency. He has a hard time adapting to change but has gotten better and will continue to improve with the right amount of training. Wallace can get very excited and just needs someone calm and consistent in these times to help him be the best boy!🖤 Is Wallace the pup you’ve been looking for? Story
**Meet Bert and Ernie!** Bert (Merle) and his brother Ernie (black & tan) are two of the lucky few who found their way into rescue after being abandoned in the middle of the woods in rural Alabama. Despite being covered in fleas, dehydrated, and hungry, these resilient pups quickly bounced back and began to show their adorable and sweet personalities. These brothers are currently being fostered in a home with other dogs, a cat, chickens, and kids, so they’re well-accustomed to different kinds of friends! They love to go anywhere for a treat and have the softest fur you’ll ever feel. **Ernie** is black and tan with the cutest half tail. He's super outgoing and always wants to be by your side. **Bert**, on the other hand, has a beautiful merle coat. He’s a bit more reserved but is also a shadow, quickly rolling onto his back for belly rubs and scratches. Both pups are extremely submissive and ready to find their forever home where they can continue to share their love and sweetness. If you’re looking for a loving companion, either one of these boys could be the perfect addition to your family!
