Story
As a Boston Terrier of a certain age, Mustache has the look of a distinguished canine gentleman. A dash of gray on the snout, ears at attention, important jowls. Don’t be fooled, though. He’s a dignified charmer AND a spry goofball inclined to hop into a lap, snuggle in next to a chi, and compete for tummy rubs like a puppy. He even gets the zoomies. Mostly he’s a sweet boy who loves love, attention and a peaceful place to call his own. He’s up for walks, manages stairs just fine, and probably would get along famously with older kids who can take a patient path to friendship. A little classy, a little kooky; you’re going to love this handsome guy. Here's some notes from his foster: Mustache is literally perfect. He came into our foster home and immediately took a liking to us. He wants nothing more than to snuggle or be held by his people. He is very social and friendly with people, and will eagerly jump up on you to be picked up or to sit on your lap. He likes to sit on the couch, go in bed or wrap himself in blankets. As I'm writing this, Mustache is sitting on my lap sleeping and getting belly rubs. He is very food motivated and a good eater. He sits patiently for his meals and will lick his plate clean. He also likes treats and snacks, and if you are eating a human meal, will come and sit next to you with his cute face waiting for a sample himself. He also serves as a kitchen vacuum and is constantly sweeping the floors for any scraps. He is fully potty trained! He lets us know when he wants to go out, and will go to the door. His current schedule is a walk at 7am, and then short walks outside around 12pm, 5pm and 9pm before bed. He spends most of the day napping, either somewhere in the house or on our lap while we work. He is able to sleep through the night just fine and will wake up when we wake up. He likes to snuggle with us in bed at night as well. He loves to go on walks, and isn't fearful or anxious on busy streets. He is a snacker, so will try to find some street eats on his walk to scarf up so needs to be monitored a bit. He pulls a bit on leash, but at his age we give him a pass although he likely could be very motivated by treats. Despite his age, he has lots of energy and likes to romp around on grassy areas and is quite fast! He could easily go on a 30 minute walk with you. He also is good in public places, such as bars and coffee shops and would likely do fine out to dinner. Mustache is also good with children! And is quick to adapt to new environments. We’ve taken him over to friends and family’s houses and he settles in quickly and warms up to strangers. He did very well with young kids (5 and 7) chasing him around and giving him lots of snuggles. They loved Mustache! Mustache would be fine with or without a yard, and would prefer having some human companionship throughout the day although he is fine to be left home for a few hours too. He is also good in the car and will mostly sleep, but may try to come sit on your lap in the passenger seat or dig around a bit to get comfy. He is good with other dogs, but prefers to coexist as opposed to play. Our 2 year old dog loves Mustache and will try to play. Mustache tolerates it up until a point then will bark to put him in his place. In general, he doesn't appear to be a big barker though, and only barks if another dog is too playful with him. Mustache is waiting for his forever home and would love a home with people around or would do great going to an office with you!

Story
If you’re looking for a wicked cool mutt with tons of energy, may we suggest this beautiful Boston terrier, Dart! This handsome boy is one of our spunkier seniors; though his attention can be captivated (momentarily) by treats, Dart is usually busy, well, darting this way and that to ensure that he’s in control of his surroundings. He will greet you enthusiastically (maybe including a lick or two) and go pure goblin mode when you give him treats (well, he takes them gently but with bulging eyes). His derpy smile and omnipresent tail wag will leave no doubt, this perfect pup is positively content, every second of every day. If you’re looking for a mutt with a smile so big, it’s infectious, consider catching yourself a Dart today!

Needs experienced adopter,
Story
Max is a good boy, but unfortunately my Mom is unable to keep up with his physical requirements. My Mom is disabled, and doesn't have much mobility. As such, he's picked up some bad habits. I need to stress that he will require a certain level of training. He's very strong for his size and very curious about the outside world. He loves people and is very affectionate. He really needs a firmer but loving hand to get him back on track. He's up to date with his rabies vaccine, but is due for a few more (hopefully we can get you that info shortly). We also have a crate, treats, leash and food for him. This is a no fee adoption. We really just want to find someone who can meet his needs. We are happy to answer any additional questions.

These pups are in Palo Alto, California too!

Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Adoption fee: $800 POTPOURRI • 2 years old • 29 lbs • French Bulldog   Potpourri is a confident little queen, with ears perked and steps lively, ready to greet the world with curiosity and charm. She is equal parts snuggly companion and adventure scout, and she is so ready to find a home that delights in her big personality wrapped in a compact, wiggly package.   Daily Rhythm   Potpourri keeps a gentle, predictable schedule that suits her well. Her mornings begin between 8:00 and 8:30 with a walk and potty break, followed by breakfast. She settles into a cozy routine afterward, usually snoozing on her bed nearby while her foster works from home. A mid-afternoon potty break happens around 2:00, complete with a treat. She heads out for another walk in the early evening between 6:00 and 6:30, has dinner at 6:30, and enjoys one last potty break at 9:30. She is crate-trained and sleeps peacefully in her crate at night when her foster is nearby.   Personality   Potpourri is a heartfelt mix of tenderness and boldness. She began her foster stay uncertain, but now she opens the door to each day with lifted ears and bright enthusiasm. She loves being outside, loves having somewhere to go, and seems to take particular joy in the moment she realizes “a new adventure is happening.”   She is a cuddler through and through. She leans her whole body into affection and will melt into a warm pile of Frenchie devotion when you pet her. She is also a velcro dog, happiest when she can be near her person. That said, she understands boundaries: tell her “bed” and she’ll settle when you need the space.   Indoors, she sleeps deeply and often, but the moment her foster stands up or heads toward the kitchen or door, she springs to life, ready to join in.   She’s learning commands quickly. “Down” is coming along well, and she’s practicing “sit” for leashing up, though her excitement to go outside sometimes gets the better of her.   With Other Dogs   Potpourri has done well with other dogs while off-leash but has some leash reactivity when out on walks, so she'll need a savvy adopter who can work with her on this challenge.   Energy & Play   She has bursts of enthusiasm in which she jumps, plays, or dives into a chew toy with gusto. But after five to ten minutes, she flops into her signature lounge mode. She loves a comfortable bed, a blanket pile, and a quiet room where she can nap away the afternoon.   Walking Style   Potpourri walks daily and does so with determination. Her gait is full of purpose at the beginning, but by the forty-minute mark she is visibly ready to head home. She pulls when she sees other dogs but otherwise focuses on sniffing, exploring, and taking in the world around her.   House Training & Crate Habits   She is fully housetrained and crate-trained. She sleeps quietly in her crate at night when she can see her foster, and she goes in willingly when it’s part of the bedtime routine.   Being left alone is harder for her. In the crate, she will cry or howl intermittently but remains safe. Her adopter will want to work on alone-time training with her.   What Makes Her Special   Potpourri is a queen in all the best ways. Confident, expressive, independent when she wants to be, and devoted when she chooses you. She adores snuggling under blankets as much as she adores stepping out the door for the next adventure. She is a little boss lady with a big heart.   A Favorite Foster Moment   Her foster loves the way she leans her whole body into pets, as if she’s handing over every ounce of trust at once. One moment she is bounding with excitement, ears forward, ready to take on the world; the next, she is snoring in a nest of blankets as if adventures were just a pleasant dream.   Potpourri brings character, charm, and a tender, expressive spirit into every room she enters. She’s a little queen looking for a family who will love her wide-open heart and join her on both the small and big adventures ahead.December 1, 2025, 2:13 pm

She’s the friend who steals the spotlight in every photo, the coworker who distracts everyone at Zoom meetings (don’t worry, she works for belly rubs), and the ultimate cuddle enthusiast.   Personality & Lifestyle Plushie is a happy, social butterfly who thinks every human and dog exists to adore her and honestly, she’s not wrong. She loves hanging with her dog friends, doing little zoomies, and then collapsing dramatically in the middle of the room like she just completed a marathon (don’t tell her it was a 15-foot dash).   She’s got the classic Frenchie charm with equal parts silly, stubborn, and sweet. Plushie’s not a big barker, but she is a big talker: her snorts, grunts, and squeaky sighs could easily qualify as their own language. She loves her walks, she loves her naps, and she really loves being the center of your world.   Home Life At home, Plushie’s got her routine down. She’s housebroken, polite, and enjoys lounging near her people which ideally is within arm’s reach for emergency petting. She’s been living with other dogs and gets along beautifully.   Why You’ll Love Her Plushie doesn’t just enter a room; she owns it. She wins over everyone she meets and has a knack for making the ordinary feel special. Whether she’s snoring beside you on the couch or showing off her frog-leg stretch, Plushie’s mission in life is simple: make people smile.   So if you’re ready to laugh every day, fall in love hourly, and never need another stuffed animal again—Plushie is your girl.  December 3, 2025, 4:50 pm
