She's a delightful companion for the summer and the rest of your life, so don't hesitate to meet her today! Here's some notes from her foster: Mai Tai is doing great so far! She is getting to know her foster sister Sierra and getting used to her cone. So far, she has been enjoying sniffing around outside on short walks. We also discovered she really loves when you give her good scratches underneath her chin.

Story
If you’re looking for a beautiful Boston with the pliability of a piece of pasta and a spunky senior who puts the high in high energy, may we suggest Noodle? Noodle is a nugget of doggy goodness who is just waiting to wiggle into her forever home for the holidays, and we simply couldn’t think of a peppier present to be waiting under your tree. While at Muttville, we’ve conscripted her to be a photographer’s assistant, so she’s been enthusiastically encouraging the other mutts to strut their stuff with helpful tips. Is she responsible for some of the best photos on our website? That’s a bit subjective, but you know what isn’t? The fact that this lovely lady would be an excellent addition to your family. Here's some notes from her foster: If Noodle soup is one of the ultimate comfort foods, then Noodle the dog is one of the ultimate comfort dogs. She bounds with enthusiasm to greet you, wiggles in excitement about getting pets, snuggles in close on the couch for warmth, and jumps for joy about meal time. She is the definition of joy and such a light in the dark days of winter! A few key things to know about Noodle: She is aptly named Noodle because she loves to wiggle! Noodle gets so excited, she loves to plop down on a rug or couch and wiggle with her feet in the air. She LOVES if this also results in belly rubs. She loves her walks! She has great energy and would love to accompany you on long walks and multiple walks per day. Right now we do a long morning and evening walk and then a potty break midday and before bed. Noodle is also great at stairs! Up and down. She is great about going to the bathroom outside. Whether on leash or in our small yard she goes promptly. She gets along fantastic with our resident dog. Noodle does tend to do excited "nose to nose" intros, which can be a bit much on first interaction for some mutts, but we found after some quick hellos she doesn't persist in her enthusiasm. She's likes to curl up on the couch or a bed with him. We haven't seen any bed, human, or resource guarding in our home. We've left her alone for short periods of time (~30 minutes max so far) and she was pacing for a short amount of time before settling down for a nice snooze. She likes to be included around the house - whichever room you're in, she wants to be in. She won't be underfoot necessarily, but she'll often just jump on the couch, or the dog bed in that room and keep an eye on things She sleeps through the night on a dog bed in the bedroom. If she can snuggle into a blanket on the bed, all the better. She'll sleep in until you wake her. Noodle does fantastic in the car - jumps into the back seat. Sits and looks out the window, or lays down. Doesn't make a peep. We've taker her to a cafe and a pet store so far and she was a perfect customer. We can't say enough great things about how much Noodle keeps us laughing throughout the day. She's an adorable energetic senior who is ready to be your adventure companion!

To be considered for adoption, pls submit an application in advance.   Adoption fee: $800 POTPOURRI • 2 years old • 29 lbs • French Bulldog   Potpourri is a confident little queen, with ears perked and steps lively, ready to greet the world with curiosity and charm. She is equal parts snuggly companion and adventure scout, and she is so ready to find a home that delights in her big personality wrapped in a compact, wiggly package.   Daily Rhythm   Potpourri keeps a gentle, predictable schedule that suits her well. Her mornings begin between 8:00 and 8:30 with a walk and potty break, followed by breakfast. She settles into a cozy routine afterward, usually snoozing on her bed nearby while her foster works from home. A mid-afternoon potty break happens around 2:00, complete with a treat. She heads out for another walk in the early evening between 6:00 and 6:30, has dinner at 6:30, and enjoys one last potty break at 9:30. She is crate-trained and sleeps peacefully in her crate at night when her foster is nearby.   Personality   Potpourri is a heartfelt mix of tenderness and boldness. She began her foster stay uncertain, but now she opens the door to each day with lifted ears and bright enthusiasm. She loves being outside, loves having somewhere to go, and seems to take particular joy in the moment she realizes “a new adventure is happening.”   She is a cuddler through and through. She leans her whole body into affection and will melt into a warm pile of Frenchie devotion when you pet her. She is also a velcro dog, happiest when she can be near her person. That said, she understands boundaries: tell her “bed” and she’ll settle when you need the space.   Indoors, she sleeps deeply and often, but the moment her foster stands up or heads toward the kitchen or door, she springs to life, ready to join in.   She’s learning commands quickly. “Down” is coming along well, and she’s practicing “sit” for leashing up, though her excitement to go outside sometimes gets the better of her.   With Other Dogs   Potpourri has done well with some dogs while off-leash but she can be too much for smaller dogs, so she's best suited to be the only dog in the home or to live with dogs larger than her.  She has some leash reactivity when out on walks, so she'll need a savvy adopter who can work with her on this challenge.   Energy & Play   She has bursts of enthusiasm in which she jumps, plays, or dives into a chew toy with gusto. But after five to ten minutes, she flops into her signature lounge mode. She loves a comfortable bed, a blanket pile, and a quiet room where she can nap away the afternoon.   Walking Style   Potpourri walks daily and does so with determination. Her gait is full of purpose at the beginning, but by the forty-minute mark she is visibly ready to head home. She pulls when she sees other dogs but otherwise focuses on sniffing, exploring, and taking in the world around her.   House Training & Crate Habits   She is fully housetrained and crate-trained. She sleeps quietly in her crate at night when she can see her foster, and she goes in willingly when it’s part of the bedtime routine.   Being left alone is harder for her. In the crate, she will cry or howl intermittently but remains safe. Her adopter will want to work on alone-time training with her.   What Makes Her Special   Potpourri is a queen in all the best ways. Confident, expressive, independent when she wants to be, and devoted when she chooses you. She adores snuggling under blankets as much as she adores stepping out the door for the next adventure. She is a little boss lady with a big heart.   A Favorite Foster Moment   Her foster loves the way she leans her whole body into pets, as if she’s handing over every ounce of trust at once. One moment she is bounding with excitement, ears forward, ready to take on the world; the next, she is snoring in a nest of blankets as if adventures were just a pleasant dream.   Potpourri brings character, charm, and a tender, expressive spirit into every room she enters. She’s a little queen looking for a family who will love her wide-open heart and join her on both the small and big adventures ahead.December 21, 2025, 9:53 pm
