Story
*LONG TERM RESIDENT* - Adopter needed! As of September 2024, Ivy has been waiting for her forever home for well over 365-days. One thing that we've learned is that the perfect match can take some time, but it is always worth waiting for.  Ivy is a sweet, silly, cuddly, and affectionate girl - the reports from her foster mom are always A+!  "Ivy will lay around while you're gone and your house is still intact when you return. She loves to snuggle and is very good at it!! She enjoys car rides and outdoor activities. She is sweet and loving, healthy and beautiful! She walks nicely on a leash and knows basic commands" - Testimonial from Ivy's foster mom   Ivy's favorite move is to roll over on her back and ask for belly rubs. Boxers inherentely have medium to high energy and require a strong and experienced handler. She would do best in a home with a single person or couple in their 20's - 50's who is familiar with her strong breed. She is kid friendly but would do best with those 13+. She would do well with another well-mannered calm dog or as the only pup in the house. ##1806585##

Story
Boxer X Cane Corso Spayed Female 86 lb 2.5 years Lola is full of energy and loves to play and go for walks. She gets along with other dogs, and she actually gets shy around other dogs when I take her to the dog park. She will play mostly outside but loves to come in at night and sleep in her crate and on her bed. For the most part she is house broken, there are times she stays at home alone for hours and has not had an accident. We still keep an eye on her and make sure she sleeps in her crate, also when we are not home she stays in the house in her crate. She has never been aggressive towards any other dogs. We have a small 5 pound Pomeranian and they get along as well. Story
****Scheduling meet & greet appointments for this week***** Handsome and sweet and full of life is our "Otto" a 12 weeks old Boxer & Labrador Retriever male puppy. The Boxador is a mixed breed of dog–a cross between the Boxer and Labrador Retriever dog breeds. Medium to large in size, intelligent, and totally devoted to their families, these pups inherited some of the best qualities from both of their parents. Boxadors are also known as Laboxers, Boxerlabs, and Boxerdors. He is Hybrid breed little guy who will grow to be the size of a Boxer. Otto is being fostered with kittens/cats/puppies and other dogs. Even a parrot:) He loves to follow you and loves to cuddle. The most he likes is to eat and play tag of war with the other dogs. He is still a small puppy and the family that adopts him has to expect to do potty training and have a house with puppy proof, such as you do when you have a baby. He is getting leashed trained and crate trained. If you are ready for this commitment and open your heart to this adorable pup please don't wait no more. Please text at 619-576-0747 as 1st type of contact or email veronica.aaofusa@gmail.com or visit our website at www.aaofus.org and complete our application at the following link: http://aaofus.org/adoption-application.html . If approved, the adoption coordinator will reach out to you to schedule a Meet-and-Greet appointment. No appointments will be made unless we have received an application; therefore, we can match you with the best fit for you. Follow us on Instagram @aaofus where you can see more pics. Please allow 48 hours to process applications and respond back to set up appointments. Unfortunately, responses back to those who do not qualify are not possible due to high volume of applications. Donation Adoption fee includes up-to-date 3 puppy core vaccinations, dewormed, flea medication, and a complementary health check up by a participating clinic near you. He is scheduled to get neutered on 11/10 about 12 days from now. Please consider adopting one (or more!) of any of our fur babies! Due to high volume of calls; NO PHONE calls are accepted at this time - therefore, please text us or email us. LIVE!! LOVE!!! RESCUE!! ADOPT A HOMELESS PET AND SAVE A LIFE!!!
