I was rescued from a California shelter awhile back, where I was impounded as a stray, and now am waiting for someone to choose me! I'm a sweetheart and oh-so-gentle. I'm the kind of dogs who loves a good snuggle on a cozy couch. My mellow nature makes me a perfect companion for those quiet moments. I'm loyal too, always sticking by my friends. Speaking of friends, I get along well with my canine neighbors at my current location. I'm also quite the poser for pictures, and am quite handsome and attentive. I walk well on a leash and am an easy pal to have around. But what I'd love more than anything is a family to call my own. I promise to be the best friend you've ever had. I weigh 57 lbs. MEET JOEY! Joey is a 7-month-old purebred Boxer puppy rescued from a California shelter. He came out of the shelter with stitches on his muzzle and body as he had likely been attacked by another dog. But Joey is doing great now! He's still underweight and we're working on that but beyond that he's a wonderful puppy. He will be neutered once he's at a healthier weight.
