Breed: Boxer / Pit Bull X DOB: 6/2022 Gender: female Altered: yes Coat: medium Size: medium Color(s): brown / white Description:Hi, I'm Sadie, a very active Boxer / Pit Bull X in need of a new home as I don't always get along with the cats in the home.I am very well-mannered and friendly with people. I am fearful of loud noises and therefore would do best in a quiet home. I need daily exercise and I'd make a great running partner as I love to run. I also enjoy playing ball and frisbee. I'm house and crate trained and have had formal training and know basic commands such as 'Come' and 'Sit'. 'Stay' is a work in progress.I am not good with small dogs and it's unknown if I'm good with large dogs. I do well with older children but I've not been around younger kids.If you're an active individual or family and are looking for a furry friend, please fill out an online application to meet me.March 7, 2026, 5:35 pm

Available to foster or adopt!Breed: Boxer X DOB: 9/2017 Gender: female Altered: yes Coat: short Size: large Color(s): tan/white (white paws, blk muzzle) Description: ***Needs a Foster Home*** This dog is in need of a foster home as well as a permanent home. If you are interested in fostering please fill out an online foster application. Hi, I'm Amber, a very sweet Boxer X who was abandoned at CARL's Pet Care Center by another rescue who has been boarding me there. What I did to deserve this I'll never know. I was turned into the Riverside shelter by my ex-owners. When I thought my time was up, I was rescued or so I thought. I was grateful to be out of the shelter and had high hopes of finding my true forever home. Sadly I've been waiting since December 2024 with no sign of anyone finding me a forever home. The rescue who pulled me abandoned me without paying their boarding fees. Hard to believe that a supposed rescue would do that to another rescue who relies heavily on this income. Sadly it's not the first time that has happened to CARL. Thankfully CARL was able to take ownership of me under the California Abandoned Animal Act. I'm finally able to go on walks and interact with the CARL volunteers. The kennel manager said I'm good with strangers, but I have not really been socialized with other dogs yet. I was in a play group session and I was stiff but seemed interested in playing. They think I just need more experience interacting with dogs in that type of setting. Volunteers who have walked me say I'm a great walker who is not dog reactive. If you have a fur-baby in the home already, please bring him/her along so we can do a meet and greet. I did kill a skunk in my play yard once, so they think I probably would not be compatible with cats. I've been on a treadmill and I really enjoyed that.    I also enjoy a good belly rub.   I know basic commands including “paw” and I take treats nicely. If you're looking for a great gal to add to your family, please fill out an online application to meet me.  August 30, 2026, 8:43 pm

Story
MEET RILEY, a 3-1/2-year-old Boxer-Shepherd mix in need of a foster or forever home! Riley was rescued in the nick of time from a crowded California shelter where he was pretty terrified... He sat in the back of the kennel and looked at people as they walked by. Riley is doing so much better, but he still gets scared in new situations, so needs a patient and loving foster or adopter. He has done fine with other dogs so far, and can be tested again. He weighs about 50-55 lbs. He is currently in California but can be transported to Colorado. Please email for an application.

Story
Name: RoxyAge: 4 years oldWeight: 55 lbsRelationship Status: Looking for a calm, steady relationshipAbout Me:I’m Roxy — a sweet, strong-minded girl with a relaxed outlook on life and a heart that loves deeply. At 55 pounds, I’m the perfect mix of loyal companion and laid-back best friend. While some dogs dream of nonstop adventures, I’m more of a “short walk, cozy evening, and quality time together” kind of girl.I enjoy getting outside and exploring, but I prefer life at a slower pace. Leisurely strolls, peaceful routines, and relaxing with my favorite people are more my style than all-day chaos and constant activity. When it comes to friendships, I can be selective. I do best with calm, balanced larger male dogs and appreciate thoughtful introductions. I’m happiest in a stable environment where everyone respects each other’s space and energy.I bond closely with my people and truly thrive on companionship, affection, and consistency. I’m also very food-motivated, so continued training and bonding time together sound like a perfect date to me.What I’m Looking For:A calm, understanding home without young children where I can settle in comfortably and enjoy predictable routines. I’m searching for someone who appreciates a loyal, low-energy companion with a big heart and a loving soul.Think we could be a match? Reach out to SPARC and ask to meet Roxy.

Story
Hello there, My name is Lola, I am a 6-year-old Boxer/ Pitbull mix and I`m here to share myself with you.You see, my heart is like a treasure chest – filled with potential, love, and the promise of a beautiful connection. I`ve had my share of challenges, but I`m ready to open up and show you the sweet, loving side that`s been waiting to shine.I am cautious around strangers, especially men, and prefer to live in a household with only adults as children make me nervous. I believe in the power of patience, kindness, and the possibility of healing. With the right approach, I know I can learn to trust and open my heart to the right person. A home where understanding and compassion thrive, creating an environment where I can truly flourish.Contact SPARC to set up a meet-and-greet – let`s create a chapter of our tale that`s filled with understanding, patience, and the promise of a connection that heals and uplifts. I`m here, ready to take the first step toward a brighter future with you. Let`s make this heartwarming journey together!

Story
Echo is one of the sweetest souls we've met. Although she's been looking for her forever home for over 1,000 days, she greets every morning with the biggest smile and warmest eyes you could imagine. She is bouncy, fun, loving, and would love a home to call her own. While she is a very high energy pup, she's also been known to steal an office chair (and your heart) and cuddle up for a long day of work. This girl has almost 3 years of training under her belt. She knows sit, stay, drop, free, down, side lay, and can take a bath and get her nails trimmed with ease. Help us make Echo One Less Lonely Girl! She can't wait to meet you!

Story
Meet Tazz! Hello world, I’m Tazz! I’m a young, sweet Boxer boy looking for my soft landing and forever home.Life was a bit rough before—I was found tied up at the park and was so scared! But the wonderful team at SPARC swooped in, showed me lots of love, and helped me realize I am completely safe now.I’m a total social butterfly with people! I greet every new friend with a big, happy tail wag. Since I’m still settling into my brave new world, I’d do best with older kids (12+) who can respect my space while I decompress and get comfortable in my routine. My Ideal Home:Solo Dog: I require being the only dog in the home—no exceptions! I want to soak up 100% of your love and attention.Cats: Unknown for now, but SPARC can easily cat-test me with their resident kitties if you have felines at home!I can’t wait to start our next chapter together. Want to meet me? Reach out to SPARC’s trainer to learn all about my personality, or call 805-525-8609 to schedule a meet-and-greet.Let’s start our new journey… together!
