Bubbles was originally adopted by a neighbor in my community from a shelter when she was eight weeks old. The neighbor had to move to Arizona in September and was unable to take her with her so she left her with a friend in the community. Unfortunately, that friend turned out to be a flake and basically neglected her and she managed to escape several times and was roaming our little community. Her original owner in AZ posted in our community page asking that someone get her and take her to a shelter because the friend obviously did not care for the sweet dog and she was so worried because we have coyotes and bobcats up here in the hills. I saw her early one morning on and after seeing the Facebook posts about her, I decided to bring her into my home to foster her until I could find a good home for her. We have a two dog limit in our community and I currently have two dogs. Otherwise I would keep her myself. She is super sweet, affectionate and obedient.

Affectionate playful girl who loves cuddling, playing fetch, and hard chew toys. House and crate trained, knows basic commands, and is eager to learn and please. As a young dog, she will thrive with continued training, mental stimulation, and fun daily activities. While she continues building her social skills. Great with people, best in a cat-free home, and ready to be a loving, loyal companion for the right person or family.

Story
Claudie  is about 11mon old med size dog. She weighs about 30-35 lbs, she is a boxer/lab mix. She was found with her mom and her sibling abundant in the backyard of the house when the owner moved out. Her leg was injured really bad and we were told by the vet we might have to amputate the leg. After few treatments and Xrays, vet saw improvement and amputation didn't take place. She is recovered now, walking and running but she does limp and holds  her leg up. She will need some one who is patient with her and willing to take time to walk & hike with her. It was a miracle that she can even use that leg and it’s not amputated.  She is a sweet puppy, friendly with people and other dogs. She is vaccinated , spayed and will be microchipped before adoption. November 4, 2024, 8:54 pm

Yeti is on our `Call to Action` list due to some challenging behaviors we`ve noticed here at the shelter--especially around other dogs. Yeti has a team of staff and volunteers who are working with him and he`s making amazing progress, but he is still a high energy dog who needs consistent exercise and enrichment. The shelter environment is difficult for him, and we think he needs out ASAP. Yeti would be best in a home with no other animals as he`s working on his skills, and likely adults or older children. He loves to play with his ball and he will gladly chase them for as long as you`ll throw them, and return them to your feet.
