Kona, a euthanasia survivor from the west valley due to a blood on the stool. It turns out, Kona has a sensitive stomach (an allergy panel has been taken and will be disclose with adopters). With a clean health bill and starting training, Kona is ready to start looking for her forever home. From being adopted as a puppy from the shelter, to surrendered due to blood in her stool, to euthanasia listed due to the same reason as owner surrender plus an altercation with another pup. Kona is described as a high energy, playful, sweet and affectionate girl, not only full of life but full fun. Kona is going into training for some basic leash manners and dog to dog interactions. Kona can be dog selective however; she gets along with more submissive dogs. Kona has been moved around from foster to foster boarding. know going into board and train to set a routine and establishment. The perfect time for Kona to find her happy ending. Rescue provides introduction and walks through the training so Kona can succeed in her forever home, and her new family can form a bond without any complications. Meet Canela!Canela is a sweet, affectionate girl who enjoys the comfortable things in life: sleeping, eating, playing, going for car rides, and spending time with the people she knows and trusts. Her former caregiver describes her as affectionate, attentive, well-behaved, and a little shy. She has a moderate activity level, reportedly walks nicely on leash, is crate trained and housetrained/pee-pad trained, and knows sit, stay, down, come, and shake.Canela can be nervous around unfamiliar people and may bark or growl when strangers approach her or enter the home. She’ll do best with a family willing to give her some space and let new friendships develop at her pace. Once she knows you, though, she has plenty of affection to share. She reportedly has no handling sensitivities and has no concerns with being disturbed while sleeping or having food or toys taken away.Canela has lived in a home with other dogs, although they were mostly kept separate and had limited direct interaction. Hi, I’m Wylie! 🐾 I’m a 1.5-year-old Pittie mix weighing about 52 pounds, and I’ve been told my adorable underbite and goofy smile are pretty hard to resist. I’m a happy guy who loves making people laugh and smile. I’m super smart, fully potty trained, and I know all my basic commands. I love learning new things, and I recently figured out how to bring the ball back during fetch—I’m pretty proud of myself for that one! I also LOVE water. If you’re watering the lawn, you can count me in. Helping with the hose is one of my favorite jobs, even if I sometimes get a little distracted playing in the spray. Life hasn’t always been easy for me. I spent nine long months in the shelter waiting for someone to notice me. During that time, I even suffered some dog bite wounds, which was scary and painful. Because of my experiences, I’d do best as your one and only pet. Even though I had a rough time, I never stopped loving people. The volunteers at the shelter adored me, and I was one of their favorites. They all knew what a special boy I am. Sadly, I ended up on the euthanasia list simply because I had been there too long. Thankfully, a rescue stepped in and saved my life. I thought my luck had finally changed when I went to a foster home, but then my foster’s father unexpectedly passed away, and she had to move back home and couldn’t keep me. Since then, I’ve been staying in boarding for about two months, patiently waiting for my forever family to find me. I’m neutered, vaccinated, and more than ready to start my next chapter. What I want most is a family of my own—a place where I can finally settle in, be loved, and never have to wonder where I’ll sleep tomorrow. I’ve been waiting a long time for someone to choose me. Maybe that someone is you. I promise to repay you with endless smiles, loyal companionship, plenty of laughs, and all the help you could ever need watering the lawn. I’ll entertain myself chasing my tail when you are busy, and I’ll even bring you a ball back when you throw it! Gorda survived a botched spay surgery that caused a stroke and blood clots, requiring emergency lifesaving surgery and months of rehabilitation. Today, she gets around just fine! She simply wears a little bootie to protect one of her feet. She gets along well with other dogs and would love a home where someone is around often to give her the love and companionship she deserves.
