What can we say about Maci (M'Lou)? She is a GREAT most Loving Dog! She's definitely a peoples dog. She does not do too well with other Female Dogs, but seems to do well with male dogs. Other than this, she takes the absolute best of both breeds, The sweetness of the Boxer and the also the sweetness and need for human contact of the Pittie. She is such a loving pup! She loves to play Fetch, loves to run with you or takes long walks. She will be your couch potato, your cuddle bunny, great travel partner, anything you wish your true companion to be...Just over 3 years old, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, she is great with kids, and this goofy girl is ready for her new forever home!

Roman: The Big Lug Looking for a Soft Place to Land Hi. I am Roman. I am a 65 pound Boxer mix with the kind of face that makes people smile even before I do anything. I am a big soft lug who wants a porch, a sofa, and a human who likes slow pats on the head. My energy is just right. I can hang out, go for a walk, sniff around the yard, then come inside and settle next to you. I walk well on a leash. I do not make things hard. I like being easy. I dont want any ruckus. I get along with male and female dogs. I am a gentleman until someone tries to boss me around. I do not start trouble, but I also do not let pushy dogs run the show. I usually get along best with female dogs. Having said that, I have a rescue buddy (male) here and we do great together. We move at the same pace. We enjoy the same simple things. So I guess, like you humans, it's if our personalities get along! People say I am the kind of dog who makes life feel calmer. I am not loud. I am not clingy. I am just present. Sit with me for two minutes and you will get it. I am the dog who leans into your leg and lets out a long breath. I make the world feel lighter. If you want a sweet older boy who loves porch time, couch time, and just being near you, I am your guy. I am ready for my home. Due to landlord restrictions, we sadly need to rehome our 9-month-old male Boxer–Beagle mix. He is house trained, friendly, and full of personality. He loves playing with other dogs, is good with cats and kids, and truly gets along with everyone he meets. He loves going on his walks and he has a blast at the dog park. He’s still young and will need continued training and consistency, but he has so much potential and a great temperament. We are looking for a loving, stable home where he can get the time, attention, and exercise he deserves. This decision was not made lightly and is only due to housing issues. Our priority is finding him the right home.

We fell head-over-heels for Beary Moose at the shelter for one very specific reason: Every single time we walked past his kennel, he would sprint to grab his favorite toy, race back to the window, and proudly hold it up like, “Excuse me, do you SEE how good of a boy I am?” Reader, we did see. And The Misfit Ranch immediately said, “Yep. That one’s coming with us.” Beary Moose is: 🐶 Sweet and friendly with other dogs 🧸 Obsessed with toys (squeaky, plush, all of them—he has opinions) 🍪 Highly treat-motivated (training? Yes please) 💕 Equal parts cuddle bug and full-contact snuggle monster At about 50–60 pounds, he’s the perfect size for couch cuddles without fully crushing your internal organs (mostly). He’s mostly house trained and totally crate trained, and—praise be—sleeps through the night in his crate with zero accidents. Hallelujah indeed. Despite looking like he might shed enough to knit a sweater, Beary Moose is surprisingly low-shed (but not hypoallergenic, so get that Claritin ready if you have allergies!) and ridiculously soft and fluffy, like hugging a very polite cloud. On leash, he can be a little pully—but only because the world is exciting and he wants to see everything. The good news? He rides like a dream in the car, making him fully adventure-ready for hikes, road trips, coffee runs, or just cruising with his head out the window living his best life. Beary Moose is joyful, affectionate, hilarious, and bursting with love he’s ready to give to his forever family. Unfortunately, this woman ended up passing away, so she came back into our rescue. She is in great health, and still active. She just wants a loving home where she can spend the rest of the next several years with a loving person/family to give her all that she deserves. This pup as seen too much loss, as her previous adopter was the second home (that we know of) where her person had to leave her due to illness. I’m Skip. Sweet, Silly, and Still Figuring It Out. I’m one year old. A Pit mix. Neutered. Weigh about 44 pounds. I’m up to date on all my shots, including rabies. I’m housebroken, full of energy, and absolutely overflowing with personality. I’m good with people. I love kids. I do great with other dogs. I haven’t met a cat yet, but I’ve got a playful, friendly nature. No guarantees, but no red flags either. Here’s the thing. I’m a little wild. In the best way. I’ve got bounce. I’ve got zoomies. I’ve got that goofy energy that makes people laugh even when they’re trying to be serious. I’m nervous on a leash. Not gonna lie. It’s weird to me. We’re working on it.
