Whether she's carrying around a squeaky toy, chewing on a Kong, or romping around with her foster dog friends, Maddy makes every day more fun. And when playtime is over, she's more than happy to cover you with the sweetest puppy kisses before curling up nearby.
Maddy is thriving in her foster home. She gets along wonderfully with the other dogs, sleeps in her crate at night and is making great progress with house training. She's already learning basic commands like sit and come and is a smart little girl who enjoys learning new things. With continued love, patience, and positive reinforcement, she's going to make an incredible lifelong companion.
Maddys story began with one very devoted mama. Her beautiful mom, Mercy, who weighs only about 30 pounds, was found living in a warehouse while doing everything she could to keep her puppies safe. Concerned people reached out for help, but no one was able to step in. When Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue learned about this little family, we welcomed them into our rescue and made sure they would never have to struggle again.
Born around May 23, Maddy has blossomed into a happy, healthy puppy who is ready to leave her difficult beginning behind and start the next chapter of her life with a family of her own.

Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue adopts in the New England area. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, up to date shots, Microchip, Alabama Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you.
The pets are delivered by a licensed transporter.

Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Upon review of your application, the rescue in AL will contact you, so you can ask any specific questions that you may have.
NOTE: All Paws of Dixie animals are located in AL foster homes. They will be transported north after adoption.
If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement.
