My previous human loved me so much—she even worked with a trainer to help us succeed—but as I grew into my full size, her health issues made it hard for her to handle my strength. She made the loving decision to find me a home that can give me the active, structured life I need to thrive. Here is a little bit about who I am and what I’m looking for in my next human companion: What Makes Me Great Deeply Social & Loving: I adore meeting new people and other dogs. I’m a total sweetheart who loves making new friends. Fully House-Trained & Crate-Trained: I haven't had an accident since I was a four-month-old pup! If I need to go outside, I’ll politely let you know with a little whine or by standing at the door. I also appreciate my crate as a safe place to relax. High-Energy Adventurer: I love long hikes, heavy-duty tug toys, and having plenty of safe things to chew on. What I Need in My Humans Because I’m a big, strong guy working through some typical adolescent boundaries, I’m looking for a calm, confident, and experienced handler who understands strong, independent breeds. An Adult-Only Home: Because of my size and excitement levels, I’ll do best in an environment without small children. Structure & Firm Leadership: Outside, I can sometimes test limits or get a bit pushy on the leash. Inside, I occasionally like to steal items and head under the table to see if I can keep them. I need a handler who will maintain consistent boundaries and guide me with confident management. A Calm Environment: Loud noises or barking neighborhood dogs can make me a bit nervous or reactive, but I redirect easily when my handler keeps things calm and controlled. Give me a crate or playpen where I can decompress, and I'm good to go! If you can give me clear direction, plenty of activity, and a safe space to grow, I promise to be the most loyal and loving companion you could ever ask for. Tyson is an owner-to-owner transfer. Meet Tiger Lily! 🥰 While driving to a vet visit for another pup, Lily, also lovingly known as Baby Girl, was found foraging for food on the side of a rural highway with no houses around. She was understandably hesitant to approach, but some food did the trick! She is now one of the most loving, cuddly brindle lap dogs. Lily loves to run around in the back yard, and is a good alert dog, and she will lean on you for a head scratch, or sit by you on the steps for pets. Most importantly, Lily LOVES to snuggle and sleep on the bed. She has no concept of personal space, for either people or other dogs. She loves to lick other dogs in the face, so if you have a dog already, be sure they are patient, and love to snuggle with other dogs! Lily also likes to chase balls and sticks, and is house and crate trained. She's fully vetted and ready for her forever home!
