Meet Bidzil!He loves people of all ages! He’s very wiggly and maybe not the smartest kid in class…He would thrive on a great school routine and some extra cuddles!! He loves to play!! He came out of neglect. He was super skinny on arrival -- weighing in at only 33 lbs! Now he is up to a healthy 50 lbs. He also came in with vertebrae on his tail exposed. He has been getting daily tail wrap changes, antibiotics, and pain meds given. He will still likely need his tail amputated.He greets dogs well, but is over it after a minute. He would do best with a co-exister or solo. No cats or small animals, please.Bidzil recently went on a Dog Day Out with a couple of our volunteers. Here`s what they had to say, `He started out a tad on the aloof and cautious side, but he quickly warmed up. After that, he was a super chill, laid-back, gentle, and easy-going boy with a quiet smile. He showed no reaction to any of the people or dogs we passed and was perfectly happy strolling right beside us. He never pulled on the leash and happily sat for treats (and he LOVES his treats!). He even posed in front of some flowers for photos like a natural! Clawdeen is a 2-year-old Boxer mix with a sweet, gentle spirit and the softest eyes you’ll ever see. She may be new to the shelter, but she’s already winning hearts with her calm nature and eagerness to please. This smart girl knows how to sit and give paw, and she loves showing off her manners. We’re still getting to know her, but so far Clawdeen seems to be dog reactive, so she may do best as the only dog in the home while she continues to build confidence. One thing we do know? Clawdeen is a kind-hearted pup who just wants someone to love her back.

Hi! My name is Starsky. I am a 6 months old and was rescued from a very rural, outdoor shelter in the sweltering OK heat. I was going to be euthanized due to lack of space as just a baby. I am a sweet boy and I LOVE other dogs. I love to play, toys, and I love to sun bathe in the yard. I am crate and house trained. I like to go on walks but still a little nervous with new sounds and surroundings. I am a super friendly boy and love everyone I meet. I am currently being fostered in Harrisburg, PA but can be transported to an approved adopter by amazing volunteers.

We got hazel from a humane society shes a great cuddle dog, she does have some needs as she guards food and doesnt get along with many dogs. We do have another dog but we have worked with her for a while on getting along with him. She needs an experienced owner and would be better off with no kids and no other dogs unless you are willing to work on separating and building a bond with the other dog. We can no longer keep her as shes shown aggression on food and a serious interest in our youngest daughter that could lead to some nipping.

Meet These Sweet Sisters! ❤️ These adorable sisters have already overcome so much in their young lives. They were rescued from the streets of Gary, Indiana, where they were found emaciated and covered in fleas and ticks. Thanks to the kindness and dedication of a few incredible animal lovers, they were brought into foster care, where they've received the medical attention, nutritious food, and, most importantly, the love they deserved. Despite their difficult beginning, these girls haven't let their past define them. They are incredibly sweet, affectionate, and love to cuddle. They may greet new people with a few cautious barks at first, but it doesn't take long before they're asking for pets and attention from everyone they meet. These sisters absolutely adore each other. They spend their days running, wrestling, playing tug-of-war, and keeping each other entertained. They also love playing with the resident dogs in their foster home and, after a slow introduction, have even become friends with the family cat! They're still working on potty training, but they're doing wonderfully. As long as they're taken outside regularly—especially after eating and drinking—they have very few accidents. They're also highly food-motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding (just be sure not to leave the treat bag where they can reach it—they're smart girls!). They are also crate trained. With a little continued guidance and consistency, these sisters are going to make amazing family companions.
