What an adorable little firecracker !! FULL of personality and afraid of nothing! She is confident, curious, LOVES the water and her baby pool. Often times she's the only one willing to get in. LAMAREY lives to be with other dogs and especially adores her humans. She is literally always happy! You cannot rain on her parade! She is kennel trained and almost house trained! She is a joy to have as part of our foster family. LAMAREY is with me in my home in Memphis, Tn. Once adopted , she will travel via Rescue Vet Transport to her new forever family. Once an application has been submitted and approved , I would be happy to speak with you and tell you all of the wonderful things about her ! You will find our volunteer team to be very responsive so please refrain from submitting an application until you are ready to welcome a new forever family member. Transport runs each weekend, leaving Memphis Tennessee Friday morning around 6 AM at which time they start a group chat with the two drivers and all the adopters who have a A Pet on board. Transport is an additional $185.

Story
OMG!!! SHORT LEGS! Stocky build! Shiniest coat on the planet! Cutest wrinkly face on earth!!!!!!!This guy loves to play for about 15 whole minutes then sleep for three times that long. Chubb's precious little wrinkly face just makes you wanna squeeze him to death. He is as cute as a button and everything puppy. He has a somewhat bigger foster mate that for some reason likes to pick on him, but he can hold his own in a puppy romp. He’s going to make a great companion for some lucky family. Our transport heads to the north east every week. RescueVet transport goes all the way up to Rhode Island, delivering fur friends to their forever homes. (Transport is an additional $185.00). If you’d like to make this guy the prince of the family, please follow our link below to fill out an adoption application. https://forms.gle/APKvbgFJcaRvgKgk9

Hey, There-my name is Watson but my nickname should be Mr. Playful. I LOVE everyone I meet. Person-dog-cat- whatever…I’m going to follow you around and ask for all the pets! My favorite activities include chasing a ball around the backyard and going for walks with my foster dad. I’m one of the friendliest dogs in the rescue so I always get invited to all their fun events. I’m not only a master on a leash but also do great on car rides & in my kennel. I may be playful but I know how to read a room and when to chill. We asked my foster dad for a list of things about me- he did a pretty good job! He loves to share your pillow at night (or try to take it all) He chases his tail like a tornado. Gives you little love sniffs to the face. Rolls over on top of you for belly rubs. Like to lay against your legs while napping. Peeks his head in the shower and wants to lick your wet legs. Follows you everywhere. At ALL TIMES. He gives good hugs. I can’t think of one reason that would make you not fill an application out for me unless you hate fun.

Bold, yet delicate! Cafecito is a shot of the good stuff. He is a little guy, but we think he is full grown. Cafecito has lots of silly energy. He would rather snoop on the yard activities than work for treats. Cafecito is just so excited for life. He wants to do everything all the time. The shelter isn't going to allow much of anything. Cafecito needs adventure buddies and a great home. Came in as a stray on 6/22/24. Found near 12300 S Perry, Chicago Adoptions are walk-in 12-6 daily at 2741 S. Western Ave. Chicago, IL Email visitcacc@cityofchicago.org for more information. The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID. All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after time for decompression for the shelter dog.

Story
Derpy, dorky, downright adorable Oscar is searching for a fun-loving forever family. This sweet fella was rescued from an overburdened animal control facility in rural Kentucky. His appearance suggests he's a Boxer mix, most likely crossed with a herding breed such as an Aussie, Cattledog, Shepherd, etc. He is estimated to be around 2 years of age and weighs 45 pounds, a fantastic medium size. Oscar is an absolute hoot and is the life of the party wherever he goes. He exhibits the boisterous, enthusiastic, clownish personality that Boxers are known for, and he would love to find guardians who are just as adventurous, energetic, and goofy as he is. Oscar has yet to meet a stranger and greets every human and canine he meets as a long-lost friend. He's a happy, social dog who always has a smile on his face. His zest for life is contagious, and it's hard to be in a bad mood in the presence of this goof. It appears he has not had much formal training in the past and can still be a bit rambunctious and mouthy when excited, so homes with older children who will not be knocked over or overwhelmed by his exuberant greetings will be the best match for him. Oscar's ideal home will be with guardians who can help him work on his manners and some basic obedience, as well as guardians who can provide him with lots of exercise and playtime throughout the day. A sense of humor is also a must because this guy loves to make his humans laugh. He is being fostered in a home with several other dogs and gets along well with his housemates. He is crate-trained and does very well with his housebreaking when kept on a regular schedule. Oscar is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date with age-appropriate vaccines, and started on flea and heartworm prevention. Oscar is currently in a foster home in Chicago and can be seen by appointment only after an application has been submitted and approved. For more information or an application, please email palsplace1@hotmail.com or visit palsplacerescue.org • Oscar's adoption fee is $375. This donation helps to cover any necessary medical care to prepare him for adoption. Pal's Place relies solely on donations to care for the animals in our rescue. Your donation also helps save other animals like Oscar from euthanasia. • Please email Palsplace1@hotmail.com for an adoption application and put the dog's name in the subject line. Please check your spam/junk folder; sometimes, the applications end up there! • All of our dogs are in foster homes are can be seen BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, after an approved application has been received. To receive more info please email palsplace1@hotmail.com. Email is the preferred method of contact and is the quickest way to receive a response. We cannot place holds on our dogs, please do not contact us until you are prepared to adopt.

Story
They call me Exuberant, Handsome and Sweet but you can choose a new name for me when we adopt each other. I don’t care what you call me, as long as you call me. I’m a happy dog who loves people more than anything else in the world. I’m a 4 year old Pitbull Lab (?) mix, with a 22” collar and am very big and strong. The Vet said I weigh 73 pounds. Don’t let that scare you because I am just a mushy ball of love. I like to let everyone know how happy I am to see them by twirling around and wagging my tail as fast as it will go. This is usually when they call me Exuberant. I like to have fun. Because I’m such a good boy, I’m allowed in the house and have good potty manners. I prefer being inside with people at night especially. You can hold the TV remote for us. Since I have a lot of energy and need exercise, your large fenced yard will be well-used. My foster peeps say I need a family, not a job. They know that I’m a quick learner and will be someone’s best dog ever with some training. Because I’m big and young at heart, my new humans should have some experience with dogs and be able to work with someone of my stature. I promise I will try to do everything you ask enthusiastically. Fortunately, my past dog life doesn’t include any physical abuse so I’m not afraid of people or other animals. I don’t like loud booming noises (fireworks or dynamite) or gunfire so I wouldn’t be a good hunting dog. Health wise, I am terrific; up to date on shots and tested negative for heartworms. Recently I was tricked into getting “tutored” and woke up with my bubbles missing. Foster peeps say it means I will get my forever home very soon! Maybe it’s yours! Agnes (called Sadie by her foster mom) was found in middle Tennessee near starvation, but she has made great progress. She is now a normal size at 50 lbs. Sadie is housebroken and loves to snuggle. She always greets her people when they enter the house. She knows how to sit and doesn't run off - she sticks close to her humans. She loves to take car rides and play with her foster sister. Story
Meet Koko! Koko is a sweet girl who came to us when her previous owner could no longer care for her. She is a special care animal, which just means she needs a bit more love! Koko can be shy when going to new places and meeting people. Though she can be cautious of new people, once you give her affection and/or treats, she is your new best friend! To help build her confidence, we recommend slow introductions when meeting new people and going to new places, accompanied by lots of praise. Her first walks in her new home should be kept short and sweet to help her settle into her new environment. She has shown to take longer opening up to men and gaining their trust - but she quickly becomes your best friend and lap dog once trusted she is learning being aware of her space- per foster dad.Koko is a sweet little lady that just wants love and to be treated like the princess she is. Here is some new information that Koko's foster parents have discovered: Koko loves toys that make sound, tennis balls, and high-durability chew toys. She has a good foundation of potty training, but she will need a strict schedule to keep her in good habits! We are currently working on her separation anxiety, and she has been making slow but steady progress. She would do best being the only dog at home. She would thrive in a home with a tall-fenced yard and/or active pet parent(s) willing to work with her on her walk etiquette. Koko would thrive in a home with a secluded entrance, where foot traffic can be controlled. She does show signs of dog reactivity - apartments/condos/homes with shared elevator or stair spaces with cross-traffic, especially with other dogs/pets may not be suitable. While she is more than happy to sleep and cuddle on the couch, she can keep up the energy when it's time to play! Koko is known to get the "zoomies" a few times a day, so having ample time and space to play is recommended! She also lacks spatial awareness which could mean that she could knock over small children, so having only older house residents is ideal.Koko loves pets, to snuggle, give kisses, receiving chest/belly rubs, massages, crawling in laps, running & sniffing in the backyard, and providing the best cuddle bug wakeup call you could ask for in the mornings. We are continuing to learn even more about Koko and you can, too! If interested, please submit an adoption questionnaire to learn more about Koko, or reach out to our adoption team for more information! Her foster parents have created an Instagram account for Koko: @momosfostergarden
