Story
Shorty was adopted as a puppy by our family. At the time we had an older dominant female dog and another male puppy. It’s been two years since the female has passed away and the two male dogs have been unable to establish an alpha. This leaves them to occasionally fight. I have two sons and another puppy, he’s a loving and affectionate family dog who always snuggles and loves on both the dogs and family overall, however the fights between the two dogs are becoming more concerning. He is extremely intelligent, he’s equal parts playful and lazy like any good boxer. He’s a goofball and loves to be loved. He would do great in a home with a female dog, and in a home where someone is home with him during the day, as he’s used to our family with flexible schedules. All he wants is to be loved on. He’s never shown aggression to children or other people. He needs slow introductions to strange men but is fine once he’s met them. He has many years of a lot of love to give.
