She is a lovable beautiful dog. I cherish her. But she just is not good with new people other than me. I may be getting married and returning to work. I would not recommend her with children but she can get along with the rest of us Once She Gets to Know You. It takes caution and experience. I would hope she goes to an experienced adult who has a nice outdoor space to go out to. If you have more time with her than I will you may be able to accustom her to more people. The kennel did at Black Woof if you need another opinion. They said "she is an angel" She loves her master.

He is a good dog and loves to be up under you. Listen well to commands. Has been crate train and does well with out being in a crate. Has been neutered. Loves to go on walks and car rides. Been around kids. My son has had him for a couple of years but now he has a baby and can’t take care of them both. Hoping to find a good home for him

He’s a good boy but he’s not trained and he is very rowdy he jumps all over one and likes to throw his entire self into things. He is fixed and has his rabies he’s been mainly an outdoor dog but we can’t bring him inside for the winter so we have to let him go somewhere with someone who has more time to put into his training and attention.

Sweet, beautiful, 5 year old boxer mix, Brooklyn has been patiently waiting for her forever family since early September. Brooklyn walks well on a leash, sits nicely and takes treats gently, does her very best to do her business outdoors (it’s sometimes difficult when you’re living the shelter life - but all indications point to previous house training), loves playtime in the yard (prefers plush toys to frisbees), enjoys being loved on, and meeting new friends. She seems enamored with cats…however, we’re not sure if she wants to snuggle them, play with them, or if she sees them as prey, so a home without cats may be the safer option. We haven’t noticed any issues with Brooklyn and the other dogs in residence at the shelter, but we always recommend a meet-and-greet with any current canine family members before adoption. Spending time with Brooklyn always melts our hearts - if you’re looking for a little extra love ❤️ in your life and think Brooklyn might be the one, stop by the shelter and ask to meet her Monday-Saturday 12:00-4:00 PM.
