Her happy place is with her owner, out in fields, around other animals, in the woods playing fetch, or swimming. She is the best mix of energetic and lazy and she will sleep all day if comfy enough but is always up for a walk. She would thrive in a household that can offer consistency, time, love and patience. Doing best with routine, someone who is able to take her to the park everyday is ideal over constant to coming and going from the house. She has Addisons disease which requires a daily pill, and monthly shot to ensure that her body produces cortisol. With proper medication routine she is just like any other happy, loving, sweet dog. Emphasizing the need for someone with the ability to meet her needs, and give her time. You'll find her to be an amazing hiking companion, or cuddle buddy.

The reason i am rehoming is because i am moving out of the US and it’s hard to take pits or i would bring her. She is really good with kids and was raised around kids. Niyah is a very sweet girl that loves people and other dogs. Unfortunately only about 6 weeks after adopting her she suffered a broken leg. She had surgery just a few weeks ago and is recovering well. Medical expenses have been taken care of - she just needs a follow up X-ray to make sure things are healing well. And lots of tlc. I’m just overwhelmed at this time as I have 2 other dogs at home and my pockets took a hit with medical expenses and I need to get back to work. I’m happy to refund the adoption fee I just would love someone to take good care of her

Bullitt is a 7 year old pit-mix. He was a rescue from the street at around 6 months old and has been neutered and lived in a caring home since then. These days his favorite activities include getting pets, snuggling, and laying in the sun. Bullitt is a very sweet and snuggly dog. He currently lives outside with another dog, and Bullitt is definitely the alpha male of the two. Bullitt would do the best in an environment where he receives all of the attention. Bullitt is house and crate trained but has been living outside for the most part of the last year. Bullitt was a little nervous of our small child, but would do fine with older kids or teens. Like most pits, he does have some food allergies so he eats a grain-free and salmon-forward diet.
