Elphie is a energetic, lazy bones, cuddly, running in the woods sweet tempered dog. Great manners, recall skills and is able to follow basic commands with ease. Her happy place is with her owner, out in fields, around other animals, in the woods playing fetch, or swimming. She is the best mix of energetic and lazy and she will sleep all day if comfy enough but is always up for a walk. She would thrive in a household that can offer consistency, time, love and patience. Doing best with routine, someone who is able to take her to the park everyday is ideal over constant to coming and going from the house. She has Addison's disease which requires a daily pill, and monthly shot to ensure that her body produces cortisol for her survival. Medication causes involuntary loss of bladder and she often wears diapers indoors. With proper medication adjustment these would not be necessary. Emphasizing the need for someone with the ability to meet her needs will find she is an amazing companion.

Wrigley is the perfect companion for someone who loves the full puppy experience. He’s desperate for love, attention, playtime, and snuggles… and then more playtime… and maybe even a little more playtime after that! Wrigley has really enjoyed the company of the other HSOC dogs. While we think he would love just about any canine companion, a meet-and-greet is required prior to adoption to make sure everyone is a good match. Wrigley can also be cat-tested upon request, though his wiggly puppy enthusiasm might be a lot for some kitties! At this young age, Wrigley is the perfect candidate for training. He’s already starting to understand potty training here at the Humane Society, and we have no doubt he’ll become a housetraining champion once he settles into a home with a consistent routine. Wrigley is ready to find his forever family. In return, he promises lots of laughs, good times, silly memories, and a lifetime of love. SWEET AS PIE! Finn is a super cute and very unique Golden Retriever/American Bulldog. He has an unusual brindle and black coat that we have never seen before. He is a one year old puppy who is full of fun. This sweet boy loves his brother and plays with him all day long. Finn is a gentle boy who enjoys being held and getting cuddles. He is very affectionate and longs for his furever home to have someone to give him the love and attention he deserves. Right now he lives on a farm and is used to being around horses, ducks and chickens. He learned very quickly how to sit and is now learning to walk on a leash. He would do well in a home with other dogs and older children. This little boy is already neutered and has a microchip. His adoption includes a collar and training leash as well as two training classes with our trainer for you to learn good leash skills, how to interact with other dogs and people, and how to be a good leader. Tyberius will be 6 years old in May, we got him shortly after getting married. He is extremely energetic and requires a lot of attention. He is very clingy and sometimes can also be needy. He likes to play rough. I have not had an issue with him being aggressive towards kids but, he does play too rough to be around smaller children. I am also unsure how he will behave with other animals. I have another dog that will be 8 years old in August that he is good with for the most part. When we have tried to introduce him to other animals he became aggressive like, not sure if it was because of the way that we did it or not. He was also run over by a car almost 3 years ago, he thankfully just rolled underneath and got scraps and cuts and the car tires didn’t actually run him over. He deals with dandruff and itchy skin as well. We can’t keep him because of continued housing issues with his breed and cost of care is too much. We are praying for a great family that can give him what he needs!
