She seems afraid of the cats because they like to beat her up, but then is always caught sleeping snuggled next to them! This shy guy is Dallas! Dallas is a 1 year old Boxer mix. Dallas is timid, so he needs a patient family and one with another confident dog to show him the way. Dallas would thrive with training to help build his confidence.  If you would like to make Dallas a part of your family, fill out an application at www.barktownrescue.org. DALLAS' ADOPTION FEE IS $175The shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at the dog's predominant breed or breed mix. We strongly encourage you to select your new pet by looking at each dog's individual personality and pet qualities rather than relying on a breed label that is only our best guess.    Our adoption fees vary from $150 and up.  All of our dogs are up to date on vaccines, heart worm preventives, and flea/tick medication, and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
