This shy guy is Dallas! Dallas is a 1 year old Boxer mix. Dallas is timid, so he needs a patient family and one with another confident dog to show him the way. Dallas would thrive with training to help build his confidence.  If you would like to make Dallas a part of your family, fill out an application at www.barktownrescue.org. DALLAS' ADOPTION FEE IS $175The shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at the dog's predominant breed or breed mix. We strongly encourage you to select your new pet by looking at each dog's individual personality and pet qualities rather than relying on a breed label that is only our best guess.    Our adoption fees vary from $150 and up.  All of our dogs are up to date on vaccines, heart worm preventives, and flea/tick medication, and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Bubba is a happy boy who loves everyone and everything! He's never met a stranger and is ready to be your new best friend! Bubba's favorite activities are playing with his toys and cuddling. He is about 2 years old and 40lbs. Bubba is looking for a family that has lots of love and lots of time to play. He loves meeting new people and animals. He does great with other dogs and kids. Bubba loves cats, but they tend to not love him quite as much. Any cats in the home should be able to handle a high-energy dog. Bubba's ideal home has a fenced-in yard or lots of space to run and play. He is crate- and potty-trained. Bubba is fully vetted: neutered, UTD on vaccines, negative for HW, and microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Bubba, please submit an application at tgspca.org/dog-application Our fosters are located in south central Kentucky, but we welcome out-of-state adopters and can work with families on transportation.
