Location: Sioux Falls, SD Moxie is a young pup, but her foster mom thinks she is going to be a big girl! She has lots of puppy energy, so a home with a fence yard would be ideal for her. She can be loud when she wants out of her crate or let back in the house, so a house with no shared walls would be best. Moxie is playful and loves to wrestle with the other pups in the house, but when she is ready to crash, she crashes hard. Moxie is good with other dogs and cats. Older kids might be best as she is still learning manners, and she likes to jump, but her foster family is working on that. She is a complete snuggle bug at night. Potty training is a work-in-progress, but she is young and will learn. She has a stunning, unique look and her foster family is very curious of what breeds she is made up of. Cheeto is a 13, going on 14 year old Boxer/ Pug mix that was adopted when he was 1 year old. He's super cuddly and loves being by your side whenever possible. He does well with other dogs, no current or past problems with dogs or with cats, he currently has a brother and sister that are of the feline species and has been around kids of all ages his whole life. He enjoys walks but with his age, this is not something that needs to happen everyday. He is up to date on all of his shots and was neutered when he was a pup. He does have a few lumps and bumps but they have all been considered benign by his Vet. It is getting harder for him to get up and down stairs but he is still attempting to race up and down them every time. His perfect home would be with someone who is home most of the day and can let him outside when he needs. With his age, he is not able to hold his bladder as well but he is house trained since he was a pup. He is the perfect option for someone looking for a companion.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Goofy Goose and her sister, Pluto, found themselves unwanted and in a high kill shelter in West Texas. They are good with other dogs, people, and dog savvy cats . All dogs and puppies require supervision and training to be successful. Miss Goofy Goose is stilll very puppy like, has perfected the puppy dog eyes look and she is not afraid to use them to her benefit. She lives up to the Goofy and silly Goose names with her anitics, so it's a perfect combination for her name. She is great with kids, kennels well (will bark if she hears something), is respectful of cats (she would love one who will play with her) and loves other dogs of all ages and sizes. If the dogs won't play with her at home, she will eventually give up and entertain herself. She looks to them for cues for what is appropriate and for confidence. She has a good amount of curiosity and energy to burn, so a fenced yard is best for her, A a dog park would not be ideal at this time as she doesn't always pick up on cues from dogs right away until she knows them better. which can land her in some trouble with the wrong dog and someone not paying attention. She has been working on potty training and doing great with frequent outings when people are home. She does great when kenneled during the day but the end of the day gets antsy and may vocalize to go outside. She catches on quickly to new tricks, is eagar to please especially when treats are involved, and is an amazing snuggler. If you're looking for a pup who believes in little to no personal space and who leans in close for those pets, she checks those boxes and is ready to show you all the love she has to fill your heart and home.
