Likes: Following my foster mom everywhere she goes Lap snuggles Playing with my foster brother Staring out the window for hours at a time Gently smelling the cats even though they hate me Dislikes: Loud noises Fast movements The armrest that stops me from crowling into my fost mom's lap The kennel I seem to have had a rough life because I am often scared of my own shadow and may flinch when you go to pet me.  I take a little while to warm up to people but when I do, I love you completely.  I would do best in a quiet household that has another dog for me to play with, but without small children.  I currently live with four resident cats and do great with them.  I wish they would let me be their best friend but they won't let me join their  club.  I have zero food aggression and sometimes the resident cat rests his head beside my bowl while I'm eating.  I don't have a lot of experience with stairs and can sometimes be nervous about going through doorways.  So please be patient with me because sometimes they are extra scary.  I don't fully understand going into the kennel so I usually have to be bribed with a treat but I'm very quiet when I'm in there.  I don't get into things and I'm usually allowed to roam the house freely overnight.  I never eat the cat food that's sitting out because I'm such a good boy.  If you have a little bit of patience and can allow me time to get comfortable I would be the greatest companion ever.      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 6, 2023, 7:31 pm

I love belly rubs and will roll over every morning for them. I love attention and want all the pets you're willing to give! I'm good with dogs and love to cuddle. I played referee when my brother and sister got too loud in our old home. I'm undecided about my current foster brother - he wants to play and give kisses. I have zero interest in playing (haven't my whole life), but I have allowed a few kisses. Once I settle in, I'm sure I'll be more comfortable with him. I'll let you know when I need to go outside. I'm crate trained and am as quiet as a mouse in my crate. I really like my foster fur-sister and I don't even mind the cats. I had a lot of fleas and y skin was irritated, so I had to have two baths already! I didn't love my baths, but I did enjoy bonding with my foster mom and all the scratches. I ride perfectly in the car and would be up for a family road trip, even if it's just a short trip to the pet store. I'm house trained and crate trained. It's pretty clear, despite my fleas and few other minor, physical things, that I was loved. I'd had training and listen well. I'm very snuggly! Hi! My name is Lola. I am a super sweet, and smart girl who loves to love. I am a happy pup who didn't have a great life before I got to rescue which ultimately could have been the end for me, but I had angels looking out for me and well, here I am. When I was impounded it was loud and so scary. I was so stressed and honestly terrified. So stressed I started to loose weight, and was not my best self. One day, a nice lady came and said she was there to rescue me. I was unsure at first but she started giving me treats and when we went outside, I realized not only was she super nice, but she was getting me out of there. Even out of the shelter I continued to rapidly loose weight even though my foster dad was happy to feed me as much as I wanted. We went to the doctor and I heard them say I have EPI. I am not really sure all the technical stuff but basically I got so stressed in the shelter I likely developed this condition and I have to take meds and supplements for it. The stuff I have to take is not a big deal for me at all. In fact, I am very used to it, but anyone wanting to adopt me should know about it. Well hello there! I'm Beefcake, my foster family calls me Beefy! I'm a hunky boy who really would has to be an only pet. I'm a shorty, just 52 pounds of adorable! I am a good boy and a quick learner. I thrive with a strong leader who makes me mind my new manners I have learned. I have come a long way in rescue and I am excited to start my new life and show you how awesome I am!
