Story
Meet Hank! He is a large boy looking for a new adventure! Hank came to TCHS as a transfer from another facility. He is housetrained and will bark at the door when he needs to go out. Hank has done very well with children in the past and enjoys letting his goofy personality out around them. His favorite toy is any type of ball (especially footballs!) Hank knows "sit." He isn't trained on any other commands, but he is very food motivated, so training him should be relatively easy! Hank is extremely adaptable to new environments. He will make himself comfortable in new situations extremely quickly and is friendly and happy to be around anyone! Hank has met other dogs and did not have good experiences with them. He has not met cats or any other animals. For this reason, Hank should be the only animal in his new home. Slow and proper introductions to children is always recommended when bringing home a new pet. Ask a TCHS staff member for tips! *Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling (320) 252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee. **Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals. Story
**SCOOTER'S COFFEE GENEROUSLY CONTRIBUTED $50 TO THIS ANIMAL'S ADOPTION FEE!** Meet Sophie! Sophie is an energetic girl who is looking for a new home! She's always at a level 10 and loves to run and chase. Sophie would do amazing in a home with an active family. She would benefit from consistent training and mental enrichment to keep her happy. Sophie does show signs of separation anxiety when left alone. She would do best being left in a kennel when home alone. This will keep her feeling safe and secure and help to keep Sophie out of trouble when no one is home to keep an eye out. Sophie has met dogs and did well with them. Sophie does enjoy chasing things, so a home with no cats, young children, and small animals would be ideal for Sophie. Due to this she cannot be adopted out to a home with cats. Sophie has done well with older children on field trips. Slow and proper introductions to resident pets and children are always recommended when bringing home a new animal. Ask a TCHS staff member for tips! *Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling (320) 252-0896. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Look at little Louie! Could he be any cuter!? Louie is about 5.5 months old, and he weighs about 20-25 pounds. He was rescued from a home up North that was basically keeping him outside. But his new owner resident dog is not accepting him. Louie is friendly, happy, a sweet little guy that has lived with other dogs, cats and kids under 5 years old even. We were told his mother may have been a Bulldog/Boxer mix? And dad may have been a pitbull bulldog mix? Mother is more certain. He is on the road to being housetrained but still in the process of nailing it. Would someone out there like to foster little Louie? Or interested in adopting? Let us know! We think Louie would do best in a home where someone is home most of the time, at this young age. http://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms If you would like to learn more about this pup, please submit an interest form on our website:    https://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/ If you are viewing this listing on PETFINDER there is often MORE INFO ON and MORE PICS OF the animal DIRECTLY ON OUR WEBSITE. http://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org *Puppy adoption fees range from $450-$550 + Mn tax* redemptionroad.mn@gmail.com https://www.facebook.com/RedemptionRoadRescue  All animals fully vetted appropriate for age: DHPP vaccine, lepto vaccine, rabies vaccine, 4DX test (@8months or older),  microchipped with lifetime registration, dewormed, flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention.  *Since we typically don't know a rescue dogs actual genetics, their breed and estimated size when grown on their bio is just an educated guess based on information and observations we have.*  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 23, 2026, 12:36 pm

Meet Amy  A beautiful Boxer/Lab mix with a heart of gold and eyes that will melt yours. Amy is the definition of a sensitive soul. She’s happiest right by your side—whether she’s quietly keeping you company or soaking up all the cuddles you can give. And don’t forget her favorite comfort: her blankie! Amy loves to burrow underneath it, just poking her nose out to check in on you—it's as adorable as it sounds.  Why You’ll Fall in Love with Amy: The Perfect Travel Buddy – Amy loves car rides and is always ready to hop in for your next adventure. A+ Student – She’s fully potty trained and already knows her “sit” and “stay.” She’s eager to please and a wonderful listener. Gentle & Affectionate – Amy forms deep, meaningful bonds with her people and thrives on love and connection. Great Walking Partner – She enjoys her daily walks and does well on a leash. Amy has also met a cat in her temporary foster home and politely chose to ignore it—what a lady!  What Amy Needs in a Forever Home: Amy can be a bit of a wallflower at first. She’s sensitive to loud or sudden noises and can be unsure around other dogs. With guidance from trainers, she’s already making great progress and does well when given space from other dogs—she’s learning every day! Because of this, Amy would do best in: A calm, patient home that will help her continue building confidence A single-family house, where there are fewer unexpected noises A home where she can feel safe, understood, and loved at her own pace  The Reward: Give Amy a little patience and a peaceful environment, and she’ll give you a lifetime of loyalty, trust, and the coziest snuggles you could ever hope for.   Ready to make Amy part of your family? If you have a quiet home and a big heart, Amy could be your perfect match. Not able to adopt right now? You can still help! Share Amy’s story—her perfect forever home is out there waiting.        Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Story
Hi there, I’m Boomer Jr., but my foster mom calls me Boom! I’m about a year old Boxer mix and a total lovebug. I made my way to Minnesota all the way from North Carolina after a hurricane so the shelter there could help more pups in need. Now, I’m ready to find my forever home!   I’m the good boy—fully potty trained, kennel trained, and eager to learn. I’ve already mastered "sit," "lay down," and "get down," and I’m super food-motivated, so teaching me new tricks will be a breeze. I love making doggie friends, especially bigger ones, because sometimes I forget my size and play a little too hard with the tiny pups. I would need a home with another dog because I love to play!   I’m also great in the car—I’ll just curl up and relax while you drive. I do get a bit nervous around new people and might bark or growl at first, but give me a treat or two, and I’ll be your best friend in no time. Because of this, I’d do best in a home without small kids, as sometimes I am anxious.   I’m a playful guy with lots of energy, so a fenced yard would be perfect for me to zoom around in. I love my toys and love antlers and bones to chew on.    If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and fun companion, I’m your pup. I can’t wait to meet you and start our adventures together!    Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Story
Hello! My name is Cyrus. I am a handsome boy with a HUGE heart. My ideal home is a place where I am the only pet for a multitude of redone but primarily so I get all the affection. I am a dog that loves my humans, and loves to have a routine. Everyone is constantly telling me how smart I am. I love going for car rides, playing ball, and lounging having some snuggle time. I am an avid movie buff and love a nice night in watching Netflix with a cozy blanket. Cozy blankets are a must have. I can be the biggest love bug you will ever meet, so despite the fact I don't care for other animal companions I think I am a pretty good catch. Did I mention I am super handsome? Well, at least that's what all these people keep saying. I tend to agree. Now that I'm older I have that distinguished gentleman thing going for me. If you think you might be the one I have been waiting for, fill out an adoption application. You will not regret it! I promise to win you over in no time. Hi! My name is Louie! I am a nice hunk of a boy looking for someone who will love me and spoil me Fur-Ever. I love to play, snuggle, go for walks, and just hang out. I get along with other dog friends I meet pretty well. I do however, like to not have them bother me when I am in my kennel. It's my private space. Story
Meet Ms. Nona! Pretty name for a pretty girl. Nona is crate trained, even if she decides to mildly protest going in. It's really only because she truly just wants to be with her people. Nona would make a great hiking or walking partner to burn off her energy. A fenced in yard is ideal for her. She would just love it! Nona loves to play outside and with toys... but plan on getting tough toys if you expect them to last long! She loves attention and snuggles, and to just be with her people. She makes a great Netflix marathon companion. Nona has mixed feelings about other animals and honestly needs to be the only pet. Since she hasn't been around children much, her fosters feel that she would be best with older considerate children. Overall, Nona loves and needs structure in her life. She needs a strong leader so she doesn't have to feel like the pressure is on her and she can sit back and relax. She is smart, inquisitive and enjoys learning. Overall, she is an amazing dog that is on the search for her right Fur-Ever Home... could that be you?
