Story
Location: Savage, MN Hello! My name is Storm! The name only fits me sometimes - I can be a bit of a tornado when my humans come home from work or right when I get my day started, but I calm down pretty quickly and transform into the biggest cuddle bug. Don't let my stoic pictures fool you.. I am a happy boy who doesn't hold back my love! Not to squeak my own toy, but my foster parents say I am the easiest foster they have ever had. The crate isn't my favorite place to be, but I hang out in there just fine, and will even sleep in there if I have to. I LOVE my big foster brothers! We run around the yard and play and then snuggle up together for a nap. They showed me the ropes and let me right in to their pack (after a proper slow introduction, of course!). I'd love a fur sibling of my very own to grow up with! I do sometimes pull on my leash when we go out for walks, but ya can't really blame me because the world is just so exciting, am I right!? I can't wait to find my forever family and bring them as much joy as I've given my foster family. What are you waiting for??? Apply to meet me so I can show you how amazing I am! My tiger stripes look even cooler in person, just sayin'.. -------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Location: Shafer, MN Hi, my name is Babinga! I'm a super sweet little lady with all the rolls and a low center of gravity. When I see you walk in the room, I give you a look that breaks hearts and I will stomp up to you wagging my tail. I love snuggles and I have yet to find a toy I don't enjoy, but I am working on not chewing on objects that are not my toys. I've met both cats and kids and have had no issues! We are working on potty and crate training. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). We often do not know what mix they are and have to base it on what we think they look like, and base it on breeds often found in the area they came from. Story
Looking for a pup companion that finds wonder with everything she encounters?  Meet Maple!  Miss Maple is a sweet soul that has that irresistible puppy innocence, curious about everything that comes across her path.  Twigs are up for examination.  Leaves are new creatures to explore!  In Maple’s little mind, nature is a novel treasure and she is a happy girl with every opportunity to explore again and again.  She loves to play with her favorite stuffy, attack squeakers, rip off tags, and is always up for a game of fetch in the back yard. She playfully invites the neighbor doggo for a romping session to join in the fun through the fence, but when he can’t play she tries to convince her teeny tiny foster brother to play (he would rather play with someone closer to his own size…boo).  And she LOVES to ride in the car, just looking out the window.  Here is a bit more info on Miss Maple: Leash Manners:  We’re working it!  She goes on daily walks and is learning not to pull. Housetraining:  She hasn't had an accident in weeks!  She might want you to go out with her and rainy days are extra challenging.  Who likes to volunteer to get wet anyway? Kennel Training:  She sleeps in her kennel with no accidents.  In the morning she is ready to come out for her morning potty break right away. Vocalization:  She rarely lets out a bark, but rather prefers to communicate with you with a gentle nuzzle or a wag of her tail.  Prey Drive/Other Animals:  She does appear curious about small critters (pulls on the leash, but does not bolt).  She has not been cat tested. She lives with a min-pin and comes across large dogs on her walks. She gets along with dogs of all sizes! Children:  She currently is in a household with older children.  However, note she is at the mouthing puppy stage (primarily for play). ##2018321##

Story
From Foster: Hello, my name is Lady, and I've had that name ever since my humans made me a part of their family when I was little. For years I lived with human kids and my younger dog sister who looks almost exactly like me. Recently my dog sister and I met another human family - actually, a big group of humans acting like family - when my original human family had some trouble and needed my dog sis and me to stay with someone else for a while. We met our new human family and their two dog siblings - we immediately starting having fun together. Things changed, my dog sister went back with our original family. I'm OK though - I have my new family and new dog friends. We stay in the house during the day; the humans think we sleep all day but I assure you we do fun things together! in the afternoons and evenings we play in the yard, go for walks, and snuggle up on the couch. I don't bark or jump on people, and I walk really well on the leash (I just need to stop and sniff things a lot). I can be home all day without having to be let out (remember, the humans think I'm sleeping all day). I love my toys, especially the plushy ones and chewing on nylabones - I often have a toy in my mouth. I would love to be part of your family - adult humans, small humans, other dog friends, maybe even cats. Meet me and let me show you how special I am!

Story
Location: Plymouth, MN My name is Hank. My foster hoomans say I'm a good boy with a big head, how rude! I love attention! I like to be where my hoomans are so that I can get all the belly rubs. I learned that if I put my paw up, the hoomans will scratch my belly and paws. I just love the belly scratches, they makes me smile. I can sit, shake, and stay (ok, I'm working on that last one a little). I try to be good in my kennel and bark for a minute so someone will notice me. When they don't, I just take a nap. I love to sleep on the hooman beds but I'm ok in my bed at night as well. I wait like a good boy in the morning to go outside too! I like to go for walks and don't even bark at other hoomans or dogs when they walk by. I love the snacks on the ground during the walks (my foster hoomans call them helicopters and leaves?). I only pull a little on the leash when I'm excited to smell a new smell. I don't think I have met a cat yet. I'm curious about the little furry thing they keep in the cage (the hoomans call it a Hamster). I'm excited to be around other dogs but sometimes they is scared of me (that makes me sad). I like to protect my toys and sometimes bark if the other dogs touch them. I don't bite the hoomans, I likes to lick them. Especially when we snuggles with my bankets and they gives me the treats. I like the bigger hooman kids because they is not scared of me. The little ones are ok. My dream home would have the older hooman kids, and another dog my size that I can plays with; or a home by myself so I can get all the attention. I like other people but need to make sure they are safe for my family first. Please come adopt me so that we can go on all the walks. I am so excited to find my forever home so that I can cuddle with my hoomans and lay with my bankets. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Centerville, SD Hi, I'm Skip! I'm a happy, goofy guy who can be a little shy at first, but once I get to know you, I love snuggling and being pet. (My foster mom says I sometimes give affectionate 'love nips,' but it's just because I'm so excited when someone is petting me!) I'm good with other dogs and love to play with them. Sometimes I get a little protective of my stuff (like bones and toys), but I'm working on that. I don't mind my kennel, and I'm excellent company! I like to lounge around chewing a bone or taking a snooze. My foster mom says I'm a super fast learner, and I'm food motivated (treats, please!). In other words, I'm one smart, lovable, trainable fella! I've been waiting a long time to meet my forever-family. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Location: Faribault, MN Hello, my name is Eva (Ava), my foster mom also likes to call me Evis bo bavis or just Evis for short. I came from South Dakota where it's suspected I was very heavily bread. I came with some puppies and my body condition showed signs of having many litters. I have a mom bod if you will. I was very nervous of news things and new people. I made a lot of people really nervous because I wanted to play using my mouth but my foster mom knew I just needed some tough love. I've been here for 3 months already, In rescue for 5 months total. I've had a lot of training with foster mom but she knows I still need more to come... I can be stubborn sometimes. I'm looking for a home with absolutely no cats and no future of having any. I'm good with dogs but generally the calmer ones, I have a very hyper foster sister and shes honestly not my favorite. I tolerate her at best. I need someone who has experience with strong dogs, both mentally and physically. My foster mom can help anyone with training but if you have prior experience with training dogs even better! New people scared me a lot when I first got here but foster mom has helped me learn it's all about baby steps. One of my favorite things to do is go for car rides, it helps me get out in the world and learn that not everyone wants to hurt me. When we're not training I LOVE to play with my super chewer squeaky toys. I also get a stuffed one every once and awhile and those are so fun to destroy. I love to zoom all over the back yard and act crazy but then once it's time to come in and settle down I'm great at napping. Mom says I snore LOUD, so heads up haha! My foster mom has a long history of working with scared pups like me. If the right person comes along and doesn't have experience but wants to learn in order to give me a good home, even better. It's predicted I'm 5 but I don't act like it so who knows. All I know is I'm ready for my forever home. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
