Story
Our boy Charlie is ready to find his forever home.. And boy is amazing. Born on May 15th 2025 - he is the perfect age - full of life, love and personality. He is your typical young boxer (though I say they never grow up) He is 66 pounds and such a handsome boy Charlie does well with other dogs of all sizes - he was a little intimidated by the bigger dogs at first, but has learned that they can be fun as well. He loves his toys. He has been around cats and wants to chase and play with them , not in an aggressive way at all, just playful moves. He is crate trained and housebroken and is going to make an amazing addition to some very lucky family. Boxers are amazing family dogs and Charlie is no different and is going to be a huge blessing to some very lucky family. As most remember , Charlie came to us with a severe blockage that required major surgery and a week of being hospitalized - he of course has made a full recovery from that and blossomed under his amazing fosters care (thank you Donna and Michael). We do feel Charlie would do better with a fenced in yard as well as sometimes noises can spook him a little He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, has been 4DX Heartworm tested and is current on prevention, microchipped and he comes with a face that you can't help but fall in love with. Charlie's adoption fee is a $250.00 donation to the Anna's Hope Veterinary Clinic Community Fund . If you are interested in adopting Charlie - please go to our website www.annashopevetclinic.com and fill out the adoption application. We do not set up meet and greets until the adoption application has been filled out and reviewed. And all of our dogs are in private foster homes throughout Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina.

Winston is a total sweetheart! He’s gentle, endlessly patient, and just wants to love you, please you, and play with you. He’s incredibly tolerant and affectionate, great with kids, good with other dogs, and loves every person he meets! He’s super playful and fun loving and has no history of aggression toward people or other dogs. He’s loyal, gentle, and eager to please, and has years of love left to give the right family. He’s 8 years old and his birthday is July 13, 2018.Winston needs an owner or family who can walk him regularly and take him on outings; someone home often, or able to bring him along, since he doesn’t do well with long stretches alone; and a continued Prozac routine (twice daily) per vet guidance.

Story
Meet Romi, a 3-month-old, 19-lb sweetheart who was dropped off in front of a rescuers home with his brother Bam Bam and their starving mama. This little family had been completely let down by humans, but thankfully they were left with someone who knew they deserved saving. Romi is the more athletic and adventurous brother — playful, curious, and ready to explore — but underneath all that puppy energy is a total cuddle bug. He loves affection, being close to his people, and curling up for snuggles after playtime. Romi is currently in Puerto Rico and will be transported to his forever home once adopted. Hes ready to trade his heartbreaking beginning for a lifetime of adventures, cuddles, and being someones very best boy.

Story
Our sweet boy Charlie is ready to find a home to call his own. Charlie was born on 5/15/25 and is your typical " full of personality "young boxer - full of life and love, but we always say boxers really never grow up. Charlie came to the rescue as an emergency case as he had eaten some things he should not have and had a blockage - he had major surgery and lots of after care and made a full recovery and is now a VERY happy and healthy boy Charlie loves other dogs of all sizes and has been around cats - he does want to play with them but not in a aggressive way at all. This boy loves his toys and loves to play some fetch with his ball - you can usually find him with a toy hanging out of his mouth . Charlie is crate trained and housetrained. He is honestly going to make some family very very lucky and is going to bring a lot of smiles to some very lucky family. We do feel like Charlie would do better with a fenced in yard. Charlie is neutered, he is current on vaccines, dewormed, he has had a full bloodwork panel done, a 4DX Heartworm test, he is current on monthly heartworm prevention and flea/tick prevention and microchipped. Charlies adoption fee is a $250.00 donation to our community fund which is used to help families with veterinary care in emergencies. If you are interested in adopting Charlie, please go to our website www.annashopevetclinic.com and fill out one of our adoption applications. We do require the application to be filled out first and a meet and greet will be set up after the application is reviewed and both parties think it could be a good fit. We do require a home visit as well. All of our dogs are in private foster homes throughout Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina - we do not have a facility where our dogs are kept.

Attention: This is a courtesy posting only! This pet is NOT available through Mountain Pet Rescue.  Please do NOT contact MPR for information about the pet or apply to adopt this pet on the MPR website.  Contact Michelle at 206-858-2525 or michelleopela@gmail.com for more information or to adopt the pet.Meet Tula: Your High-Energy Best Friend, Built-In Spoon and Personal Hype SquadIf you’re looking for a dog who will love you hard, play hard and snuggle even harder, Tula might be your girl!Tula is a 3-year-old boxer/pit mix with a joyful spirit, an athletic build and a huge heart for people. She is extremely people-friendly, loves attention and does great with children. She greets life (and her humans) with enthusiasm, full-body wiggles and a level of excitement she is very happy to talk to you about with an enthusiastic “arrrooooo!”She's a high-energy dog who thrives with daily activity, playtime and mental stimulation. Walks, games, training sessions, adventures - she wants to be involved in it all. She does best when she has an outlet for her energy and a human to share it with. And once she’s had her fun? She happily transforms into a world-class cuddle bug.At night, Tula is a devoted spooner who prefers to sleep close to her person. She may also snore from time to time, which she considers a feature, not a flaw - think cozy white noise from a very contented dog.One of her standout traits is how eager she is to please. She’s smart, attentive and easy to train, making her a great option for a first-time dog owner who’s ready to provide basic structure and consistency. She genuinely wants to do the right thing and be part of her person’s world.Important to know:  Tula has a strong prey drive and is not safe with cats or small animals, so she needs to be the only pet in the home. This isn’t a behavior problem, it’s simply about finding the right environment where she can relax and thrive. Her ideal home:• No cats or small animals• Active individual or family• Someone who enjoys a high-energy dog with a big personalityWhy she’s being rehomed:  Tula is being rehomed due to incompatibility and hyper-fixation with my cats, not because of aggression toward people. She has no bite history, is fully vaccinated, and is ready for a fresh start with the right match. If you want a dog who will be your workout buddy, your couch companion, your nighttime spoon and your enthusiastic conversationalist Tula could be the perfect fit.Contact information:  Michelle 206-858-2525michelleopela@gmail.com All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label. Story
Tucker is a loving, loyal, and people-friendly boxer mix who has been a faithful companion for the past 9 years. He is healthy, house-trained, walks well on a front-lead leash, and knows basic commands such as sit, stay, lay down, and paw. Tucker enjoys cuddling with his people, playing with toys, relaxing on his own, and taking leisurely walks. Tucker thrives in a calm, adult-only environment and is happiest as the only pet in the home. While he has always been kind with people, he has never been comfortable around young children or other animals. Since the arrival of our toddler, Tucker has struggled to adjust despite training, management, and our best efforts. Because of this, we are seeking a home that better matches his needs and allows him to be comfortable. Tucker can become stressed with thunder and when touched while eating, but he is otherwise calm and well-behaved when left alone. We hope to find a loving home where he can enjoy his senior years.
