Story
J A X Has settled into foster beautifully. This boy is the sweetest most easy going dude. Big or small dogs, cats, humans he loves them all. He hasn’t come in contact with an animal or person he didn’t like. Jax’s back story isn’t like most of the rescue dogs we have here at Noah’s haven. Jax was adopted by one of our incredible Fresno fosters when he was barely 6 months old. What started out as a temporary foster quickly turned into a family member. Jax has lived with his family, kids and other dogs nearly his whole life. Sadly his family has separated and due to housing restrictions he couldn’t stay with his mom and kids. It was no question that Jax could come back into rescue and make the transport up to Oregon. When foster mom Erin came to HQ yesterday she couldn’t leave without him. He’s settled into their home so effortlessly and now we know we have to find him his forever asap.

Story
My name is Emma, I am 4 yrs old. I am UTD on shots, spayed and chipped. I have some insecurities and need a patient person who will work with me on these things. I am very loving but can be shy. I dont get along with very many dogs so I would like to be alone for at first until we get to know each other.

Story
Frank is an excellent young dog to play with and to nap with! He is house trained and does not counter surf. He is crate trained and does not chew up beds or blankets. The sight of his people makes his tail wag in happiness. Frank is still a young adult. He absolutely would do best with moderate physical and mental exercise. This means a 30-minute structured walk every (other) day, perhaps a weekly trip to the hardware store to expand his socialization. It is important to give our dogs adequate exercise, it is crucial to teach them an off-switch and how to be "bored." During the day, Frank loves to nap in his crate. He also enjoys eating /shredded carrots, cabbage, cucumbers, bell peppers and more! These are my choice of chew toys or destructuve toys - no stuffing to accidentally ingest! Potentially having some herding breed in Frank, he is a work-hard-play-harder kind of dog! He is very handler-focused and always has the most amazing time doing training. With obedience training and impulse control, we build confidence and neutrality. Frank has no problem ignoring other people and dogs while we are out and about! Other than affection, praise and daily calories, Frank really really enjoys play as a reward. Within our structured walk, I make sure we trot and chase, to keep him engaged and eager. In our training, we teach Implied Stay, meaning stay put until a release command is given! Frank has mastered Sit, Down, and Place (aka Bed) commands - at home, on walks, at the park, and at the hardware store! While any dog has the natural instinct to resource-guard high value resources like food /affection, Frank had one high value food fight with his foster brother, who has a history of male dog reactivity. This was preventable, and I only blame myself for it. This means we are doing more impulse control training - with high value stinky treats, with other dogs nearby. The goal is to teach appropriate response and communication. (If my toddler hit another child, yes they'll get a consequence but they will also need guidance on how to act otherwise!) Check out his journey with Ashley, his foster mom! IG: @wu.dogs.balanced

Story
I'm gonna make you an wo-offer you can't refuse. That's Pacino's favorite phrase. The adoption deal is simple: a roof over his head, a cold dish of water, daily meals and treats, plus an abundance of love. What? It's a good deal! Pacino, now over a year old, has become a true Dogfather. He is well-behaved, happy-go lucky, is very handsome, and has a wonderful, playful nature; he fits seamlessly into any family. His lineage boasts a long line of Dog-Father's, tough dogs out in the world whose business is their own. But, they are loyal, loving and strong characters to have around you.. He's a potty-trained and crate-trained gentleman, but he still has a penchant for chewing. He adores treats and toys, but can go through them quickly. Proper and slow introductions to other dogs are essential. Pacino would thrive best with older kids. Join the legacy and give Pacino the family he deserves. After all, a dog like him is an offer you can't refuse. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Hi there, I'm Precious. They say that I am called this because I am the most precious dog here at God's Dogs Rescue. I came to the rescue in October of 2022 to have a safe place for me to have and raise my puppies. All my puppies were adopted by the end of January 2023, but I am still here looking for my furever home. I am a bigger girl, but this just means there is more of me to cuddle you, because I love cuddling it's one of my top 3 favorite things. 1) Food- I love food and will do almost anything you ask if you have a treat involved. 2) Cuddles- on your lap, on the couch, in the bed wherever there is a comfy space with pillows or a human I want to be there. 3) Kisses- I have a love of giving kisses to people, especially kids. Although not everyone likes it when I try to kiss them and that makes me sad. 4) Honorable mention- I like going on walks or in the car for a ride, although I prefer just lazing around at home. My current fosters say that I am a "house hippo with springs in my feet whatever that means; I just know sometimes, when I get super happy, I feel like I could fly- or jump really high. I love their kids and am very good with them even the tiny ones. I get along with most other dogs I meet, although I have a big personality about me, because I'm a boss, so sometimes other dogs don't like that about me. I tolerate cats although if they give me too much attitude or growl at me, I can't help but to give them piece of my mind. I like most new people I meet although I had a rough start in life so sometimes, I can be a little wary with men, with time though I adjust, and we can become best friends forever. A few more little details about me: I am 3 years old I am a Boxer/Shepherd mix I am great with kids I am good with Cats and Dogs I am crate-trained I am housebroken I can be adopted in Texas or anywhere in the US too! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)
