We adopted him about four months ago. He’s a sweet and well-trained 6-year-old who’s great at being home alone for 7-8 hours a day. We think he would love having a yard where he can go outside whenever he wants. Right now, he usually goes out three times a day. He’s a really kind and gentle dog who would make a wonderful companion!

Story
Hi there, I'm Precious. They say that I am called this because I am the most precious dog here at God's Dogs Rescue. I came to the rescue in October of 2022 to have a safe place for me to have and raise my puppies. All my puppies were adopted by the end of January 2023, but I am still here looking for my furever home. I am a bigger girl, but this just means there is more of me to cuddle you, because I love cuddling it's one of my top 3 favorite things. 1) Food- I love food and will do almost anything you ask if you have a treat involved. 2) Cuddles- on your lap, on the couch, in the bed wherever there is a comfy space with pillows or a human I want to be there. 3) Kisses- I have a love of giving kisses to people, especially kids. Although not everyone likes it when I try to kiss them and that makes me sad. 4) Honorable mention- I like going on walks or in the car for a ride, although I prefer just lazing around at home. My current fosters say that I am a "house hippo with springs in my feet whatever that means; I just know sometimes, when I get super happy, I feel like I could fly- or jump really high. I love their kids and am very good with them even the tiny ones. I get along with most other dogs I meet, although I have a big personality about me, because I'm a boss, so sometimes other dogs don't like that about me. I tolerate cats although if they give me too much attitude or growl at me, I can't help but to give them piece of my mind. I like most new people I meet although I had a rough start in life so sometimes, I can be a little wary with men, with time though I adjust, and we can become best friends forever. A few more little details about me: I am 3 years old I am a Boxer/Shepherd mix I am great with kids I am good with Cats and Dogs I am crate-trained I am housebroken I can be adopted in Texas or anywhere in the US too! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Story
Rob Roy is a very smart puppy dog! He learns commands quickly, is great in a crate, and sleeps through the night without much fuss. His energy level is moderate so getting in a few walks a week would be most ideal. Rob Roy can be a bit of a chatty guy, but one of his favorite pastimes is to be cuddled up on the couch sleeping. Rob Roy would love structure and consistency, in his life, to help with his confidence and sense security. He is currently fostered with a trainer and he would do best to continue his training as he is young. Rob Roy is very gentle with adults and children and loves being brushed. He is less interested in other dogs than he is his people, he would be perfectly happy to be your one and only. While he is good with dogs, he won't be interested in playing so a respectful dog sibling would be best. Rob Roy has taken quickly to house training, and going outside to potty. He is very good on a leash and loves going to the beach and river, tromping through the water and still remains focused on his person while doing these things. Rob Roy would be a great companion for all of the adventures you want to go on, big or small.

Hardest decision I have ever had to make! I have been her home since puppy. Someone younger who could meet her energetic needs would be a better home for her. I will miss her dearly!

Story
Great semi energetic snuggly little boy!! Please contact us to submit an application directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com or https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other Rubble is a 6 mos old (DOB 8 Feb 2023) 40 lb Boxer/Retriever mix. He will be a medium to large dog as an adult. Rubble, his mom (45 lb) and littermates were found running down access road of a highway when they were 5 weeks old. Everyone in litter and mom died of Distemper (due to owner not giving them shots). Rubble is the sole survivor. He will be special needs throughout his life. He is a very special puppy that has tons of love to give and loves all humans, children, playing with other polite /low energy dogs, playing with toys and visiting with volunteers/staff getting chicken /treats. Did we say he LOVES his humans? When he plays and does his walk abouts you do not see any affects of distemper. He is crate trained, walks on a leash and loves car rides. He will benefit from some continued obediance training and public socialization with new environmental objects. He will play, then will hang out on the couch or your lap. He requires an owned home with a securely fenced yard in a colder climate as the hot TX temperature is not conducive to his health. He is looking for a special needs mixed breed dog experienced family. He will do best with another dog companion and someone that works from home or caregiver (female) is home. No apartments. Courtesay post for the Helotes Humane Society. L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. Story
I am an American Bully. I love sticks, pressurized water and bubbles!!! I am affectionate, loyal and very playful. My family is living in a transitional housing program and even though I am an emotional support animal, the program says I'm too reactive to stay. I am super strong and I pull pretty hard on my leash. I do become reactive around new humans in my home. I also dont have the best manners with other dogs. I need someone to adopt me and become my new best friend. I promise I am worth it! This transition is going to be traumatic for me and my family but time and new safe homes will heal that. I am NOT spayed yet, but my mom has an appointment for me to get spayed and she will pay for it if you can keep the appointment. It is two months away. I was in a car accident and it caused a medical condition called bilateral carpal valgus which is a fancy way of saying my paw is angled outward. See my pic. Sometimes it slows be down but don't worry, I'm still full of energy!
