Story
Sasha Approx 7 years old Female Boxer/pit mix- cute as all get out!! Sasha is a sweet lovable girl. She loves attention from people. She's lived with other dogs and does fine with proper introductions. Cats would be a no. She likes them a little too much! She's been around children of all ages and does well. She's lived a life of being confined in a small space (in her previous life) so now she really enjoys walks and smelling all the smells. She's great on the leash, even though she just starting getting out into the world... She's a friendly girl looking for a family to love. She is a great size, like only 30-35# Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Millie is a boxer, Chihuahua plus plus plus mix, around 2 years old and a petite 30 pounds. She still has spunky puppy play energy but is also up for napping throughout the day in her bed. She is kennel, potty, and leash trained. It takes her a little while to get comfortable in a new setting but once she does, she loves her people. Millie loves her ears rubbed. She is partially deaf but is highly food motivated and quick to learn. She is interested in cats but less so the more she sees them. She is snuggly with people of any size, even ones with little grabby hands. New dog intros have been fine for her with dogs 8-65 lbs. She loves her time outside exploring and smelling everything she can. With her high energy and initial unsureness in new environments, she would thrive with another dog to help guide her into the day to day routine but she has been doing fine in her alone time in the yard. She is a little much for very young kids as she doesn't always know where her body is at and can knock them down if they aren't used to that type of dog. Millie just needs a family to give her patient guidance and structure while she settles into the family.

ADOPTION FEE: $250MICROCHIP #: 982126059959084WEIGHT: 76.2 LBSAre you looking for a dog with a heart as big as his head? Well, that's me! My name is Axel and I am a SafeHaven alumni! I was adopted back in 2021 wear I was able to grow up in a loving family. I am already a master and "sit" and "paw" and will learn fast so long as you have a treat to reward me with! My previous owner says I am a big Ol softy with kids and other humans but tend to be picky about other dogs and not a fan of cats in or outside of my home. I may be able to learn how to like having a doggy sibling, however it may take me a while to decide so I would love to have a meet and greet before you take me home. Ask a SafeHaven staff member about me today!

Story
Hey, I'm Shelby! I'm a boxer mix at about a year old and I weigh around fifty pounds. I'm a young girl with lots of energy! I'm the biggest cuddle bug you'll meet! I'm a bit shy when meeting new people, but I warm up quickly to anyone who offers snacks, a good head scratch, and a lap to sit in! Sure, I'm a big dog, but I'll sit in your lap like I'm a small one. If you have a yard, that'd be great! I love to run around and get my zoomies out. My favorite toy so far has been the tennis ball... I'll play fetch all day long! Getting outside with friends gets me super excited, and I need a fun outlet like fetch to get that energy out in a productive way. I've met a couple of dogs here at Heartland and I was a little weirded out. I definitely need some space and time to adjust to other dogs. I think I'd be best as an only dog, but if you do have a dog at home already, we should meet here at Heartland before you take me home! I'm looking forward to meeting you - make an appointment here with Heartland staff to see me! My adoption fee is $175 and Benton County adopters have an additional $10 licensing fee.

Story
Ginger Ann Happy Girl is ready to be a family dog. We know she is ready because she is already potty and crate trained, has great house manners, can keep herself entertained with a kong, loves kids and new people, and brings so much joy to wherever she goes. She is a beautiful brindle color with the cutest floppy tongue smile. She is approximately 3 years old and about 65-70 lbs. She can calm down and relax, or she can join you for adventures. She loads and unloads in the car on her own, making it easy to bring her along. She is also amazing in the car- she just stares out the window to people watch. She is not afraid of water so if you ever visit places with water, she will be your girl! She will want to get in and enjoy! She gets along beautifully with other dogs from what we’ve seen over a few months in our care. This sweet girl is a typical boxer meaning she is goofy, confident, friendly, happy-go-lucky, and so affectionate! She has so much personality and is just a joy to be around. She will keep you laughing nonstop with her fun little boxer hops and goofy tonguey smile! She would love a big yard to get her zoomies out or someone who loves adventuring who does not have a yard! Do you need a new hiking buddy? – Ginger would like to apply for the position!! Not only is Ginger super fun loving and adventurous – she is also very intelligent! She knows how to sit and shake and could learn lots more with her new family. She is super food motivated making her highly trainable. If you have a treat in your hand, she will be your best friend. She is such a smart girl and would make an amazing forever companion! Ginger is fully crate trained and leash trained. She really loves her crate and will go into it without being prompted. She truly loves her humans and is fiercely loyal. She would love nothing more than to just be your partner in crime for the rest of her years. As you can see in her video, she greets other dogs so easily in public. She’s a strong girl so she would do best with a “leader” mommy or daddy. Ginger says no cats please - they just are too much for her! Don’t miss out on this fun-loving girl! The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5-year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes. Follow along on our rescue journeys through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $42 surcharge.

Hello, this is Remmy. She is a 2.5-year-old pitbull. She's a very happy dog and is always excited to get attention. Me and my girlfriend are expecting soon, and due to that, we are wanting to find her a new forever home. She is an inside dog and sleeps in the bed with us. She tends to like to escape the enclosed yard, and if she does, she will run and run. She gets along with kids well, but she likes to jump up and lick them in the face. Other than that, she isn't mean to them at all. We would love to keep her, but I work so much and she stresses my girlfriend out, and I don't want that to affect the pregnancy. wanting to rehome her as soon as possible. Thank you for meeting Remmy.
