MEET BILLY THE BOXER MIX! If you're looking for a quirky, energetic dog, a ball of energy ready to rumble and roll, Billy is it! He is a fun-loving 1-1/2-year-old Boxer-Shepherd mix who is ready to rock your world. He's just a puppy and could use some leash training, but he's got a lot of good things going for him. First of all, he's unique and funny - he's got big floppy ears, and one is usually up and the other down. Secondly, he's good with other dogs. He was basically raised in an animal shelter so got used to having other pups around. He absolutely needs an active person or people and a yard would be a plus so he could run around, and then take a snooze. It's not mandatory, though, as long as you are active. He is stocky and built like a tank, and weighs about 65 lbs. Can you foster or adopt Billy? Billy is currently in California still, but can be transported to you in Oregon.

HI - I'M RILEY, and I'm looking for a special adopter! ! I'm a 3-year-old Boxer-Shepherd mix in need of a foster or forever home. I was rescued from a California shelter where I was pretty terrified - I sat in the back and looked at people as they walked by. Now, whenever I go someplace new, I'm scared all over again, until I really bond with my person. I have done fine with other dogs so far, but I need someone who can take me in and work with me to help me become confident and secure. I weigh about 50-55 lbs. I'm currently in California, but can be transported to Oregon. Please email for an application.

Story
MEET ROMEO, a handsome, loyal, protective Black Mouth Cur. Romeo is a gorgeous 6-1/2-year-old male, and he weighs about 74 lbs. (His shelter paperwork says shepherd-boxer mix). Romeo loves to walk, hike and be with his person or people. He would be a wonderful companion for someone who loves to hike and go on exciting journeys! Romeo is a great guard dog and can be protective with people he does not know, so would do best in a non-congested area where neighbors aren't a concern or with an experienced adopter. Romeo also has a prey drive, so needs a strong owner. He has done great with other dogs in a home setting. He's incredibly smart, affectionate, and will attach to his person or people. His bond is very strong. He is not a big fan of kids. Romeo is easy to groom, is playful, and loves a good belly rub! He will benefit from exercise, and people who understand his breed. He's currently in California but can be transported to Oregon. Please email for an application.

Story
Buddy is a bright, energetic puppy with a huge love for life. He wakes up ready for adventure and spends his days exploring, playing, checking things out, and finding ways to be involved in whatever is happening around him. He is incredibly curious and always interested in his surroundings, which makes everyday life with him feel fun, active, and full of personality. He has the kind of happy energy that naturally draws people toward him. Buddy loves interaction and thrives when he gets attention, engagement, and opportunities to explore. He would likely enjoy an active household where he can continue building confidence through walks, playtime, training, and lots of positive experiences. He is still very much a puppy, so he will need guidance and structure as he grows, but he is eager, social, and excited about life. Watch his YouTube video now https://youtu.be/ynS3k8Q21f4?si=JK1VK2Z_xopnFyAm Buddy also has a very affectionate side that balances out his playful energy beautifully. Once he’s tired himself out from running around and investigating everything, he enjoys settling in close and relaxing near his people. He likes companionship and seems happiest when he feels connected and included. He has the kind of personality that makes him feel like a true part of the family very quickly. He would do especially well with adopters who are prepared for an active puppy and who want a dog involved in their daily life. Buddy is not a couch potato puppy — he wants to learn, move, play, and experience things alongside his people. At the same time, he is incredibly loving and sweet, and he forms bonds easily with the people caring for him. Buddy is going to make someone an amazing companion. He is goofy, affectionate, curious, fun, and overflowing with the kind of joyful puppy energy that makes raising a dog such a rewarding experience. https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/69ead1e1bb3a16ee0601727d Questions? Story
Reba is an incredibly sweet and gentle puppy with a soft, loving personality that makes people fall for her very quickly. She has a calmer and more tender way about her while still enjoying all the normal puppy fun like playing, exploring, and spending time with the other dogs. She carries herself with a very affectionate, comforting energy and seems to genuinely enjoy being close to people. She is the kind of puppy who forms strong emotional connections and enjoys quiet affection just as much as playtime. Reba loves being loved on, and once she feels safe and comfortable, she relaxes beautifully into her environment. She has a very warm and gentle presence that would fit wonderfully into a family looking for a loving companion to grow alongside them. Watch her YouTube video now https://youtu.be/ynS3k8Q21f4?si=EbesVGjX2Rix3UT1 Even though she has a softer personality, she is still playful and curious. She enjoys exploring at her own pace, playing with the other puppies, and experiencing new things in a thoughtful way. She would likely do very well in a home that provides both gentle guidance and opportunities to continue building her confidence as she grows. Reba would thrive with adopters who appreciate a sweet-natured dog that enjoys closeness and companionship. She has the kind of temperament that makes you want to include her in every part of daily life — relaxing together in the evenings, spending time outside, going on walks, or simply having her nearby throughout the day. She is still very young and will need all the normal puppy training and consistency, but she already shows so many wonderful qualities. Reba is loving, calm, playful, affectionate, and deeply endearing. She is going to make a beautiful lifelong companion for a very lucky family. https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/69ead18da0fc8b7eb30b0ccb Questions? Story
HI - I'M OTIS! I'm a sweet and active 5-year-old red-nose male Pit Bull Terrier in need of a foster or forever home. I was given up by my owners (for no fault of my own), and now am looking for new people to love me! I came from a home with another dog. I absolutely love human attention and affection, and would be great for someone who works from home. I can jump pretty high and would make a great agility dog. I love, love, love to cuddle, and will give kisses. I also love to chase tennis balls, and then tear them apart! I would do well with an active person or family with older kids. Can you foster or adopt me? I currently weigh about 53 lbs. Please email for an application.

Story
MEET SWEET LUKE! Luke is a happy & lovable 4-1/2-year-old Pit/Boxer/Lab mix in need of a foster or forever home! He had been adopted, but his owner died, and so he went back into our rescue. Luke is currently in Southern Washington and can be transported to Oregon if necessary. He has a wonderful disposition: He gets along great with other dogs and is very loving and affectionate to his people. He also loves to fetch balls and bring them back to you. Luke also isn't a big barker, unless someone barks at him. He walks well on a leash, and is a strong boy. He doesn't shed much! Luke also loves treats and is very treat motivated. He has done well with some cats but not others. He was rescued from a California shelter originally after he became urgent for lack of space. While there, he was kenneled with another female dog and did great. He's been tested with numerous dogs and has done well with everyone. He's a loving, easygoing boy who needs a home! Luke currently weighs about 60 lbs. Please email for an application.

Story
HI - I'M VAIL! I'm a loving 5-1/2-year old small Pit Bull Terrier-Bully girl in need of a foster or forever home. I'm white as snow and hence I was named after Vail, Colorado! I have a lot of good traits... I love people and am quite the snuggler. I also love my crate, and would gladly sleep in it at night (though would probably prefer your bed.) I'm not destructive in the house and am overall a joy to have around. I'm also quite playful. There are a few things to work on still. At about 45 lbs., I'm a small but strong girl, and could use some leash training. I'm also best as an only dog in the house, where I can get all of the love and attention, as I'm not a fan of other dogs. I'd love a warm bed, a person or people to love me and a chance to go for a walk, hike or road trip! Can you foster or adopt me? I'm currently in Southern Washington available to meet! Or I can be transported to Oregon. Please email for an application.
