MEET BILLY THE BOXER MIX! If you're looking for a quirky, energetic dog, a ball of energy ready to rumble and roll, Billy is it! He is a fun-loving 1-1/2-year-old Boxer-Shepherd mix who is ready to rock your world. He's just a puppy and could use some leash training, but he's got a lot of good things going for him. First of all, he's unique and funny - he's got big floppy ears, and one is usually up and the other down. Secondly, he's good with other dogs. He was basically raised in an animal shelter so got used to having other pups around. He absolutely needs an active person or people and a yard would be a plus so he could run around, and then take a snooze. It's not mandatory, though, as long as you are active. He is stocky and built like a tank, and weighs about 65 lbs. Can you foster or adopt Billy? Billy is currently in California still, but can be transported to you in Oregon.

HI - I'M MARLIE! I'm a 10-month-old sweet and submissive Boxer girl in need of a foster or forever home. I was impounded at a California shelter after I was found as a stray in an alley. I rolled over on my back then to get belly rubs. I have been fine around other dogs and I'm basically a growing puppy with lots of love to give. I can be shy at first. Can you foster or adopt me? I'm not yet spayed because I'm still a bit young, but I will be spayed when the vet says I'm ready. I'm currently in California, but can be transported to you in Oregon! Please email for an application.

At 2 years old, Lion has that perfect blend of Boxer goofiness and soulful loyalty. He’s playful, affectionate, expressive, and absolutely loves being near his humans. Lion is the type of dog who wiggles when he’s happy, leans in for cuddles, and charms everyone he meets with his warm, gentle nature. Breed Info: Boxers are known for their intelligence, athleticism, and famously silly personalities. They are deeply loyal, people-oriented, and incredibly loving companions. Things to Consider Before Adopting Lion: Are you ready for a medium-energy, highly social dog? Do you have the time and stability for daily exercise and bonding? Story
**Now fostered in Kenmore, WA** Some superheroes come in small, wiggly, cuddly packages! This gallant little champ is Captain Underbite. His mission? To save the world through joy, laughter, and zoomies. He's already doing an excellent job spreading hope and giggles, delighting his foster folks and everyone he meets. Watch Captain Underbite's video: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Nw-aPUHmwXc&feature=youtu.be This kissing crusader is about 5 months old and weighs 25 lbs. He might be a mix of boxer, labrador, and pittie, and something smaller... but we're just guessing! Based on his size and age, we also guess he probably will grow to be under 40 lbs, the most wonderful size! One thing we do know for sure is that he is the sweetest and most affectionate little snuggle buddy you could wish for. Captain is absolutely crazy about people. Everyone is his best friend and deserves his delicate little kisses and snuffles. His wagging tail and wiggling butt are almost as adorable as his wonky smile and his big, floppy ears. End to end, this boy is all about the cute! Photos don't quite do Captain justice; you have to see this hero in action to appreciate just how goofy and adoring he is. When he's excited, he darts around like a ping pong ball, changing direction and flying recklessly through the grass. He picks up toys in those silly jaws of his and shakes them with such ferocity that he sometimes falls over! And when he's finished with his short bursts of energy, he is the most tender-hearted little cuddler. He wants to be near you, preferably leaning against you, giving and receiving love. Captain's love is not limited to humans. He's thrilled to play with, or just hang out with, other dogs. He's brave enough to play with his 45- and 60-lb foster brothers. Captain loves to be chased. If other dogs ignore him, he finds toys to show off and tries to tempt his canine companions into a game of tug or keep-away. This clown also likes to play like a kitten! A toy dangling at the end of a stick or a string is a fabulous plaything for him! He chases it in circles with determination and zeal. And, of course, Captain also loves squeaky toys and crinkle toys — any toy will do, and a bone to chew keeps him busy and happy. Captain spends most of his time sleeping, of course, like most young puppies do. He loves to sleep flopped on his person or snuggled against them. He also loves his fuzzy donut bed. At night, Captain sleeps 8 hours straight in his crate in a room with his foster family. Some nights he complains for about one minute that he doesn't want to go to sleep yet… and then zzzzzzzzzz, he conks out. Captain is proud to tell you that he's potty trained now. He LOVES praise, so he quickly learned to potty on command. He understands that outside is the right place for his business, and with frequent outings during the day he's a reliable house pal. Eager to please, he stops a behavior when he understands you don't like it. He's also very food motivated — he loves meal time so much that he spins in circles from the excitement! This food motivation has made him easy to train so far. Though he's just getting started in his new Pacific Northwest foster home, he already knows to run into his kennel at feeding time (with the "kennel up" command) after a few celebratory pirouettes. He's looking forward to learning tricks for treats! Captain Underbite's greatest superpower is loving! He really wants to be someone's baby. He just wants to be wherever you are, making you laugh and hearing that he's a good boy! He likes to visit friends' houses and is thrilled to have people and dogs over to visit as well. Will you be the lucky person to have a superhero for a life partner? Adopt Captain Underbite! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6812254ef942e441f205b414 Please email Leah.Smith@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. Story
HI - I'M FLETCH! I was recently rescued from a scary California shelter in the nick of time. I became urgent because I simply had a cold. Now I'm on the mend, and am starting to decompress a bit. I'm just a lovable, dog-friendly pittie-mix puppy in need of a foster or forever home. I'm still a bit shy and scared but am starting to come out of my shell. I weigh 40-45 lbs currently, but am a growing boy. I have the most beautiful brindle-and-white coat. Can you foster or adopt me?

Story
HI - I'M OTIS! I'm a sweet and active 5-year-old red-nose male Pit Bull Terrier in need of a foster or forever home. I was given up by my owners (for no fault of my own), and now am looking for new people to love me! I came from a home with another dog. I absolutely love human attention and affection, and would be great for someone who works from home. I can jump pretty high and would make a great agility dog. I love, love, love to cuddle, and will give kisses. I also love to chase tennis balls, and then tear them apart! I would do well with an active person or family with older kids. Can you foster or adopt me? I currently weigh about 53 lbs. Please email for an application.

Story
HI - I'M SUZY. I'm a small 14-year-old sweet blue-and-white Pit Bull Terrier, in need of a foster or forever home.I have been waiting far too long for someone to choose me, and given my age, I'm hoping my person or people come along soon. I'm a loving girl who would do well in a quiet home and neighborhood where I can be loved and showered with attention and affection. I make a great snuggler! I have tested well with some large dogs but not others, so would do best in a home as an only dog or with a submissive male. And I do well with kids over 5, too. I am not good with little dogs, however -- no clue about cats.. Per my current caretaker, I am in good health, though I do have some arthritis, so I take some inexpensive supplements. Can you foster or adopt me? I weigh only 44 lbs.
