Please contact us to submit an application directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com. I want family! Rocky is a male 5 mos old Boxer/Retriever mix. He will be a large sized dog as an adult. He is an energetic, affectionate pup that likes other dogs and pups. He is a great companion for an active family with a secure fence, children over 6 years of age and another dog. Large breed experience is recommended. He is an indoor dog. He will like walks, car rides, toys and dog beds. He will require daily walks and dog training once he has all his shots. No apartments! L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Please contact us to ask about our adoption process and our adoption fees.

My foster family, says I am amazing, loving, I listen pretty well, I love the beach and car rides, I love to snuggle up to my human. No cats for me and I would thrive in a home where I can be the only dog or have a calm dog buddy. My adoption fee is $200

Story
Amigo belonged to our neighbor, who left for a vacation to Costa Rica in December 2025 and then was not allowed back into the country. They were not able to return home, so they decided to make a home in Costa Rica. We volunteered to watch Amigo until the family was logistically and financially ready to bring him home. However, after having him for months and multiple failed attempts to reunite him with the family, we and the family decided it would be best to find Amigo a new home.11 years old, 60 lbNeutered, up to date on vaccines, healthyHe is very mellow and easy going. He likes to sunbathe and explore the yard, and while he does enjoy walks, he also doesn't seem to mind just lounging at home all day.He is VERY food motivated. We has been great with our other dogs (a pittie mix and chihuahua)He has been great with our 2 and 6 years old kids.He just needs a comfy place to lounge around and would make a great companion for someone who wants a low maintenance mellow dog.

MEET BILLY THE BOXER MIX! If you're looking for a quirky, energetic dog, a ball of energy ready to rumble and roll, Billy is it! He is a fun-loving 1-1/2-year-old Boxer-Shepherd mix who is ready to rock your world. He's just a puppy and could use some leash training, but he's got a lot of good things going for him. First of all, he's unique and funny - he's got big floppy ears, and one is usually up and the other down. Secondly, he's good with other dogs. He was basically raised in an animal shelter so got used to having other pups around. He absolutely needs an active person or people and a yard would be a plus so he could run around, and then take a snooze. It's not mandatory, though, as long as you are active. He is stocky and built like a tank, and weighs about 65 lbs. Can you foster or adopt Billy? Billy is currently in California still, but can be transported to you in Oregon.

Story
HI - I'M RILEY, and I'm looking for a special adopter! ! I'm a 3-year-old Boxer-Shepherd mix in need of a foster or forever home. I was rescued from a California shelter where I was pretty terrified - I sat in the back and looked at people as they walked by. Now, whenever I go someplace new, I'm scared all over again, until I really bond with my person. I have done fine with other dogs so far, but I need someone who can take me in and work with me to help me become confident and secure. I weigh about 50-55 lbs. I'm currently in California, but can be transported to Oregon. Please email for an application.

Story
Reba is an incredibly sweet and gentle puppy with a soft, loving personality that makes people fall for her very quickly. She has a calmer and more tender way about her while still enjoying all the normal puppy fun like playing, exploring, and spending time with the other dogs. She carries herself with a very affectionate, comforting energy and seems to genuinely enjoy being close to people. She is the kind of puppy who forms strong emotional connections and enjoys quiet affection just as much as playtime. Reba loves being loved on, and once she feels safe and comfortable, she relaxes beautifully into her environment. She has a very warm and gentle presence that would fit wonderfully into a family looking for a loving companion to grow alongside them. Watch her YouTube video now https://youtu.be/ynS3k8Q21f4?si=EbesVGjX2Rix3UT1 Even though she has a softer personality, she is still playful and curious. She enjoys exploring at her own pace, playing with the other puppies, and experiencing new things in a thoughtful way. She would likely do very well in a home that provides both gentle guidance and opportunities to continue building her confidence as she grows. Reba would thrive with adopters who appreciate a sweet-natured dog that enjoys closeness and companionship. She has the kind of temperament that makes you want to include her in every part of daily life — relaxing together in the evenings, spending time outside, going on walks, or simply having her nearby throughout the day. She is still very young and will need all the normal puppy training and consistency, but she already shows so many wonderful qualities. Reba is loving, calm, playful, affectionate, and deeply endearing. She is going to make a beautiful lifelong companion for a very lucky family. https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/69ead18da0fc8b7eb30b0ccb Questions? Story
Ghost is sponsored by River & Ben.Hi, I’m Ghost!I’m a pit bull–Dalmatian mix, which basically means I’m a marshmallow with feelings. I can be a little shy when we first meet, but once I learn to trust you, my fun and excitable personality really comes out. Personal space will become a thing of the past once I know you’re safe!I like to use my voice when I’m stressed and would do best as the only dog in a home or with a calm dog (I tend to mirror the feelings of those around me). The shelter can feel pretty overwhelming for me — all that barking and constant activity amps me up and makes it hard for me to show my true, snuggly self. Because of this kennel stress, I’m not always able to show potential adopters just how loving and sweet I really am.My humans here at the shelter are open to a foster-to-adopt situation so I can decompress outside of the shelter and show you who I truly am in a home environment. Once I’m out of the chaos, my cuddly, loyal personality really shines.Apartment life isn’t really my style — I’d love a home with a fenced backyard where I can feel safe, happy, and get my energy out with zoomies. With a little patience and understanding, I promise to be the most devoted and loving companion. Due to my size, energy level and excitability, I would do best in an adult-only home or home with older, calm children (12 and older). If you are interested in meeting me, the shelter is open Monday through Saturday 11am – 6pm and Sunday 11am – 4pm. If you’d like to schedule an appointment, check out the pets’ profile on our website at newberganimals.com to fill out an application and email to frontdesk@newberganimals.com.Due to COVID-19, we are currently only open by appointment. Please follow the instructions on each pet profile.
