Meet Kylo!Adoption Fee: $75Kylo is super sweet, but can take a little time to warm up to a new person. Kylo loves attention, gets attached quickly, loves belly rubs and cuddles. We don't know how he is with other dogs or cats. Kylo was fine with 2 large dogs where he wandered up (he was around them for about 2 days). He is reactive at the boarding facility where he lives, however, that is not the best indicator. For this reason, it's best to find him a home as the only pet. Ever heard of a 'heart dog?' This boy is someone's heart and soul, loyal to the ends of the earth, ride or die. Kylo would be an excellent companion for someone who is looking for a friend for life. Please consider giving this beautiful boy a forever home. He will definitely steal your heart! Story
This cutie patootie is Garrett, a 3 year old boxer mix who came to us from a local shelter. Garrett was hit by a car and brought to the shelter, but they didn't have the resources to help him, so we scooped him up! Garrett underwent surgery to repair breaks to his back leg, and is now recovering well! He is SUCH a sweetie, total lovebug. He gets along with other dogs, rides great in the car and walks well on a leash. Garrett has a long road of recovery ahead of him, but he is happy and motivated to please his people! We just know that he is going to be a fantastic family guy someday! We promised Garrett that the rest of his life, would be the best of his life. Could that be with you? ***APPLY TO ADOPT: finalvictoryrescue.com*** We provide meet-and-greets by appointment with an application on file.

Story
Hi, I’m Keaton! I was adopted as a puppy, but sadly, several years later, I found myself back at Pawmetto Lifeline. My previous family didn’t quite understand what I needed as I grew bigger—they kept me outside all the time, and I didn’t get to meet many people or other dogs. Because of that, I can be nervous around strangers and reactive when behind barriers. But once I’m out in the open and get to know you, I’m the sweetest, goofiest, most loving dog you’ll ever meet. The staff here has been so kind, and they believe in me—and I’m starting to believe in myself, too. I’m looking for a calm, quiet home with someone who’s patient and experienced. I didn’t get training in my first home, but I’m eager to learn and bond with someone who’ll show me what love really means. If you can give me the time and space I need to open up, I promise I’ll reward you with endless affection, loyalty, and a one-of-a-kind personality. All I want is a forever family who’ll make me part of their lives—for good this time.My adoption fee of $50 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org. Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday, Friday and Saturday are walk in from 10-5. Please fill out the online application, and you will be contacted if you are approved and are a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.

Story
Hi, I’m Wisp — a cuddly, happy little pup with a heart full of love and the cutest underbite you’ve ever seen! People tell me I’m sweet, smart, and a joy to be around… and I have to admit, they’re not wrong!I love being near people and getting attention — especially head scratches right under my ears (that’s the good spot!). I’ll even thump my legs with delight to let you know how much I love it. Cuddles? Yes, please. Playtime with other dogs? Absolutely. I even like the cats and try to make friends with them, too!I’m crate trained and working hard on potty training — I’m pretty close to having it down, and I’m even learning to ring a bell to let my people know when I need to go outside. I know “sit” and “stay” already, and I’m learning “down” when I get a little too excited. I really do want to be a good girl — I just need a few reminders sometimes.Like any puppy, I love to chew, so I’ll need plenty of chew toys around to help me make good choices. The good news? I’m not a barker, and I’m super eager to learn. If you’re looking for a sweet, snuggly, well-mannered pup with a lot of love to give, I might just be your girl. I’ve got love in my eyes and cuddles in my heart — all I need now is youMy adoption fee of $100 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Story
Hi, my name is Spot!I’m a one-of-a-kind pup here at Pawmetto Lifeline—and I’m looking for a very special person to share my heart with. You see, I’m deaf, which means I experience the world a little differently. Because of that, I need an experienced, patient adopter who understands the importance of structure, boundaries, and clear, consistent communication.I’m super food-motivated (seriously—treats are the way to my heart!), and I’ve got a goofy, loving side that shines when I’m comfortable. But I’ll be honest—I don’t warm up to strangers right away. I need a little time to get to know you and feel safe. Think of it like dating—we need a few visits before I’m ready to commit!I’d do best in a calm, adult-only home with no children and minimal chaos. Once I trust you, I’m incredibly loyal and affectionate. I’m just looking for someone who sees my potential and is willing to go slow with me.If you’re kind, experienced, and up for building a strong bond based on trust and love, I might just be the perfect pup for you. Could you be my person? If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org. Adoptions are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Story
We brought William home at 6 month of age, he has been a part of our family since 2011. He is an easy going, quiet, loving, friendly dog that loves his Pupperoni treats, being scratched behind the ear, and a good brushing. We have my child living with us now and she has major allergies and for this reason and this reason only that I have to find my best friend a new home.

Location: Lexington, SC Name: Esme Age: 4.5 years Breed: Lab/pit/mix (DNA Tested) - 60 lbs but overweight and should only be around 50 lbs M/F: F Spayed/Neutered/Shots: spayed; UTD on rabies, dhlpp, & bordetella; heartworm negative and UTD on prevention Good with dogs, cats, and/or kids: been good with all other dogs besides a couple female pits; tends to be too much for cats but doesn’t intentionally hurt them; LOVES kids Aggression or medical issues?: never started anything with the other female pits but did her job protecting herself very well; demands attention from other animals so has accidentally hurt a couple cats by holding them down to try to lick all over. TRIPAWD - only has 3 legs as one was removed in an accident. Only thing this requires is daily joint supplements to prevent arthritis andd assistance in/out tall vehicles. House/crate trained?: yes! Needs to be crated when left alone Additional info/story (personality): Very friendly. Human obsessed. Been around dogs and humans of all sizes including doggy day cares and dog parks with no probs besides what was mentioned above. Prefers humans to other animals. Very talkative. Needs heavy duty toys. Lazy. Walks well on a leash. Snores. Message/comment if interested. Make sure if you message me to include the animal’s name since I have a lot of rescues I am trying to help rehome at the moment. Adoption application & contract required to ensure good home.

Story
Location: Lexington, SC Name: Kevin Age: 4 years Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier - 63 lbs M/F: M Spayed/Neutered/Shots: UTD on rabies, dhpp, & bordetella; Neutered; UTD on heartworm & flea prevention; microchipped Good with dogs, cats, and/or kids: can cat test upon request; has been good with all female dogs, only didn’t like 1 male dog (but it was his relative); decently high energy so may not be the best around super small children simply due to that Aggression or medical issues?: flea allergy - must be kept on flea prevention during warm months Reason for rehoming? Owner did not claim him after being found wandering House/crate trained?: yes - will need to be crated when left alone Rescue help?: no - already being rehomed through frisky business rescue Additional info/story (personality): Very sweet and very friendly. He loves humans and is very excited everytime he sees them. Likes playing with the other dogs and tends to reflect energy they give him pretty well (example: he’s housed with a 6 year old dog and 2 year old dog and 6 year old doesn’t want to play as much so he mostly plays with the 2 year old and leaves the 6 year old alone). He does walk well on a leash, but can pull if he gets excited by something he wants to see. Is high energy still as a whole and will need adequate space/time to release that. Message/comment if interested. Make sure if you message me to include the animal’s name since I have a lot of rescues I am trying to help rehome at the moment. Male, Adult
Lexington, SC
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Not good with cats, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Location: Lexington, SC Name: Bobby Age: 1.5 years (~DOB: 12/4/22) Breed: Bully/dachshund?? Bully body/head on a weenie dog type body - possibly chihuahua based on personality - 30 lbs M/F: M Spayed/Neutered/Shots: Neutered; UTD on rabies, dhpp, bordetella, heartworm prevention; microchipped Good with dogs, cats, and/or kids: good with kids; good with larger dogs that will keep him in check; not good with smaller dogs or cats Aggression or medical issues?: no known medical - is an alpha male dog that will bully any animal that he can or that lets him (currently housed with many other dogs but they all constantly have to keep him in check) Reason for rehoming?: found stray - no owners could be located; adopted and returned after he started bullying smaller dogs extensively House/crate trained?: crate trained but will try to pitch a fit in the crate the first couple of days in a new home to try to convince you he isn’t. He was also returned for “pottying in the house” from last owner’s house but I do not have that happen here. Idk if it is because I have a fenced in yard he can go explore whenever he wants or because I have no carpet (last owner had carpet)? But I have never had him mark once at my new house. He does get an excitement tinkle sometimes when I first get home (just a teeny bit), but that’s it, and they normally outgrow that by 2-3. Additional info/story (personality): Talkative and loves attention. Does love to cuddle. Does jump, but he is stubby and his jumps don’t reach much height. Is terrified of snakes I learned so idk what that indicates about his breed makeup as all the definitive pit mixes were not afraid of the snake in the slightest. Although he is tiny, he pulls on a leash hard when he wants something specifically. Need heavy duty toys and the stuffed ones don’t last long at all.
