Story
Hi, my name is Jordache! (But I answer to 'Hooch')My foster found me running around on a busy road and I ended up on his front doorstep. I am a big guy really loves my family and I have been having so fun with their dogs. I have the attitude of a puppy and I am very loving. I love my toys almost as much as food ??. I am very playful and can entertain myself with almost anything! My playfulness depends on other dogs' playfulness, if they're gentle, I'm gentle, if more energetic, I will match them. A larger dog might be a good idea as a companion, I love to play tug of war too!I am a very good watch dog and will definitely let you know if someone is around.I am crate and potty trained!I get excited to meet new people-everyone is a potential friend! I haven't been around children yet, though small ones might not be a good idea because of my size and accidentally knocking them down.If you're active or have a big yard, we would be a great match!I hope to find my forever family soon!.Jordache is part of our Home to Home Program. Although they are not a Pawmetto Lifeline dog, they have received the same high standards of care. Vaccinations and spay/neuter are included in the $50 adoption fee. Pawmetto Lifeline wants every animal to have a chance to find a loving home. Please fill out an adoption application at https://pawmettolifeline.org/adoption/adoptionapplication/ or contact adoption@pawmettolifeline.org if you would like to meet this animal.

Story
Hi! I am Freeda. I started my life living on a farm. All I had was a crate on the porch with a tarp covering it. I would always share my food with a chicken in the yard. My owner decided he didn't want me anymore and I was rescued by my new foster family.I didn't know how to do much since I had never lived in a house. Now I know how to get on a couch and bed. I'm not scared of being on a leash much anymore...except when I have to go to the Dr., then I don't want to budge! I can always tell how my people are feeling, and when they are down, I stare deep into their eyes so they know how much I love them. I love to snuggle up right beside you on the couch and the bed.Life was great for a year or so with Mom and Dad, but I don't really like other pets in the house, so my living situation became a problem. I really only want to be an only dog. I am used to cats and we are fine together. I haven't been around any children yet.I do have a bad habit of digging. Mom and dad have a fence in their backyard, and I have tried to get out before-they had to reinforce around the bottom to help keep me inside and safe.Do you have room in your heart and home for this sweet girl? Help us to make the rest her life better than her beginning!Freeda is part of our Home to Home Program. Although they are not a Pawmetto Lifeline dog, they have received the same high standards of care. Vaccinations and spay/neuter are included in the adoption fee. Hope was left on the side of a rural road by someone she probably trusted because she sat there waiting for them to return. Of course they didn't which is so evil. Thankfully a kind lady stopped and helped her then called us. Hope is full of personality. She loves people and loves to play. A young lady at 1 yr old, she is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped. Hope has done great with housetraining in her foster home! She doesn't give cues yet but if taken out of schedule, no accidents.Loves people more than other pups or toys, but seems fine/comfortable with other pups.Hesitant with stairs, but getting braver by the day.She is so very sweet and loving!! Loves to give hugs! ????38 lb

Story
Location: West Columbia, SC Name: Angel Age: 4 years Breed: Pit/shepherd mix - 57 lbs M/F: F Spayed/Neutered/Shots: UTD on rabies and dhpp, heartworm negative and UTD on prevention, spayed Good with dogs, cats, and/or kids: Good with other dogs of all sizes and children. She isn’t a jumper which works very well for children. She seems to ignore my grown cats but tries to pick up small kittens and carry them around (doesn’t seem to be trying to hurt them) but I keep her separated just to be safe. Can get annoyed with the more energetic dogs. Aggression or medical issues?: flea allergy so have to keep her on prevention during warmer. Nub tail from previous life injuries that will flare up if flea allergies present and get raw again from her licking so again… flea prevention. months - Has been involved with a fight she didn’t want to be in and she tried to hold her own but gave up and simply laid down while I got the other off. She was raised with chiweenies and had 0 clue what to do in that situation. She thinks she is a small dog couch potato (other dog I learned is not good around any other female pit mixes and she was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time). Reason for rehoming?: owner moved and left her behind in a crate House/crate trained?: yes but doesn’t have to be crated as she doesn’t mess with anything in the house. Additional info/story (personality): Very sweet and loves to cuddle and get pets. She is more in her “laid back” era and more focused on pets and attention than playing with the others. When I get home and let her out her crate she greets me and then goes outside to potty and maybe hangs out 5-10 min before she’s back inside ready to hang out on the couch and cuddle. She also is really not bright for lack of better words (training her commands is extremely difficult). Message/comment if interested. Make sure if you message me to include the animal’s name since I have a lot of rescues I am trying to help rehome at the moment. Adoption application & contract required to ensure good home.

Story
He’s a very sweet boy with no sense of personal space and loves giving kisses and cuddles. He cannot be trained like a regular dog because he does not understand positive or negative reinforcement, only consistency. He has good and bad days. Sometimes he can be walked on a leash; sometimes he can’t so he has to go to a home with a FENCED IN YARD. When he is very excited, he is a jumper. I have tried everything possible to get him to stop but he just does not understand (although he doesn’t do it as much as he used to so hopefully he will grow out of it). He also functions a billion times better when other dogs are in the home so he must go to a home with OTHER DOGS. His crate and the couch are his safe places. When he is stressed, he has to have access to his crate because that is his safe place (either enclosed or metal with a cover around it). I can’t shortly explain him in full, so if anyone is genuinely interested, please reach out and we can discuss more. When I say he is nonfunctional off medication I mean he refused to leave his crate, would use the bathroom on himself, and barely eat because he was so terrified of everything. His meds completely changed his life and they aren’t negotiable in any part of his future. Message/comment if interested.

Story
UTD on rabies & DHPP - heartworm negative and prevention started. Spayed. Has been good with everyone she met so far. I had her around a baby kitten and she was not bothered at all. She is very submissive at first. Only thing she can get iffy about is if you try to pick her up (I can’t tell if she is trying to jump in my arms or run honestly). She has LOVED the kids she met so far (none were extremely young). Has a couple wounds healing from her adventures wandering. Slightly underweight by a couple lbs. Hasn’t had potty issues since the first couple days in my house. Have been crating her and she is fine with it, just getting her in takes some assistance on certain days/times. Baby is very sweet and has not given me any issues since I got her. She is not high energy by any means. It took her a couple days to warm up to everything, but has settled in well and enjoys playing with the other dogs. I haven’t received kisses from her, but she has given the next door neighbor’s kids some kisses. She does well on a leash for walking, but has been difficult to get her to potty on a leash (but she does completely fine free roaming my back yard to potty) so that may take some more effort. Very easy to treat train.
