Story
Roxy is my aunt's dog and she is as sweet as she looks. My aunt is sick and can no longer take care of the dog. I'm 6 states away and recovering from back injuries. So, Roxy needs a home. My aunt took her out, but I'm told Roxy had the occcasional accident. Since my aunt is almost 90, it's unknown whether the accident was hers or my aunt not hearing her ask to go out. I know she is deeply loved and my aunt is devastated. I don't know much else. I hope you give this sweet dog a new life.

CHANCE ~~ Neutered Male, Boxer, White, Microchipped, DOB: 12/14/2017, 71 pounds Chance is eligible for our Seniors for Seniors Adoption Program. If a Senior Citizen adopts Chance, we will waive the adoption fee and offer a 20% discount on all future vet services, food, etc. Come and meet this sweet guy if you are looking for a wonderful life companion. Chance was found near Ameris Park before Christmas and no one has come forward to claim him or reported him as missing. So, this senior sweetheart is looking for a forever home. Can you provide a great retirement home for this loving boy? ABOUT ME: I'm a friendly and social guy and really enjoy going for walks and playing. I'm very good on the leash and don't pull at all. I'd love to have a fenced backyard of my own to run around in and wouldn't mind going with you in the car to run some errands. That sounds like a lot of fun. I might be a little slow to warm up to new people, but I love people! I don't mind getting toenail trims and am a very good boy when the doctor takes care of me. My skin was a little itchy but I got a shot for that which really helped. I am just looking for a really good home and some people to love, a couple of comfy beds and cool toys. I'd even like another friendly dog to play and hang out with. I don't know what cats are yet because I haven't been around them. MEDICAL: Chance is healthy, current on vaccines/vet services and bloodwork, has a negative fecal test and heartworm test. His adoption fee is $153 and includes a month of Simparica Trio (for heartworms, fleas, ticks, intestinal parasites) to go home with him. Chance should remain on heartworm and flea/tick prevention for life to keep him happy and healthy. If you have space in your heart and home for an exceptional boy, come and meet Chance today and see if he would be a good fit for your family. Crabapple Knoll Vet Clinic, 12604 Crabapple Road, Alpharetta, GA. 770.475.8272. Please visit at least two hours prior to closing. Monday to Friday 630AM to 7PM, Saturday and Sunday 8AM to 4PM. We are closed on all major holidays. No appointment is necessary to meet any of our adoptable pets. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis.
