Story
Hello there! My name is Rizzi, and I’m a two year old, American bully mix! I was found after being hit by a car and brought to the shelter. Unfortunately one of my legs had to be amputated, but that doesn’t stop me! I’m a feisty, playful, full of life, girl who is looking for a family of my very own!  I am crate trained, potty trained, and love to snuggle on the couch. I love most dogs, but I do need slower introductions and I don’t like hyper dogs in my face. Right now I live and play with a Great Dane who loves to play tug o war with me!  I am spayed and up to date on my shots and just ready for the perfect family to come meet me! If you think that could be you, please let the angels know!  An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations. Please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.          March 12, 2026, 2:15 pm

Story
Hi there, let me tell you a little about myself. I like nothing better than hanging with my people at home or going on walks. I walk nicely on a leash and love exploring and sniffing while out. I'm a chill girl and very well-behaved in the home.  I do all my pottying outside, and although I don't need to be crated, and I will even hang out in my crate if you need me to. I sleep in my crate in my foster home and love to lay alongside my people on the couch. I am a gentle girl and take my treats so nicely. I'm an 11-year-old Sharpei/Boxer mix who is very healthy and weighs around 60 lbs. I'm unsure what it means, but my foster mom always tells me how gorgeous I am. I sound just about perfect, don't I? I like other dogs well enough and don't mind passing them when we walk, but I would be better in a home without dogs, cats and small children. I can even play in the yard with some, but I'm not particularly eager to share my space or my things with them, so I'm looking for a forever home where I'm the only dog. I should clarify that I don't mind sharing my things with people; it's just the other dogs I don't want to share with. And cats? Well, my foster Mom says I'm way too interested in cats to be able to share a home with any. I don't have a lot of experience with young children, so my foster mom thinks I should stick to adults and teens because I may not do well with the energy of a younger child. Anyway, that's my story. I'd love to meet and get to know you.         See more photos of Cylana by copy and pasting this link into your browser: https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjAYW7j   Apply to adopt me at www. angelsrescue.org/adopt and search for me, Cylana! Story
Meet Roscoe - a handsome 8-year-old, 54 lb. Boxer/Shepherd mix with a heart as big as his smile. Roscoe is the perfect blend of fun and affection - he&#39s a happy, social boy who adores being around people and making new friends. His sweet and easygoing personality makes him a joy to have by your side. Roscoe is dog-friendly and enjoys having canine buddies to play with, though he would be just as content soaking up love as the center of attention. With his medium-to-low energy level, he&#39s the kind of pup who can enjoy a playful romp with his toys or a nice walk around the neighborhood, and then settle right in for cuddle time on the couch. This smart boy loves to learn and already knows how to be a wonderful housemate - he&#39s housebroken, crate trained, and walks well on the leash. Roscoe would thrive in an adult-only home or with a family that has kids 12 and up, where he can feel secure and cherished. Roscoe is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped - all ready to start his next chapter. What he wants most is a forever family who will love him as much as he&#39ll love them. Whether it&#39s playtime, walk time, or snuggle time, Roscoe will be your loyal companion every step of the way. Could Roscoe be the one to make your home feel complete? Story
Drako is a low-key gentleman looking for his forever family! This sweet senior is a boxer mix, born on 6-27-2014, weighing 57lb. BarkVille Dog Rescue saved Drako from the Euthanasia list at an overcrowded GA shelter. He would be an amazing companion for a retired couple, or a family looking for an easy dog to love on! Drako enjoys the company of other dogs and likes to be close to his people. He is crate trained but prefers not to be completely alone - he likes to be crated near the other dogs in his foster home. He does show some signs of separation anxiety, so a family that is home often would be ideal for Drako. He walks well on leash, and is friendly and well mannered with everyone he meets. Drako is very loving and deserves to live the good life with a lucky family! His foster Mom reports he starts the day off lazy, and can become frisky in the afternoons - he has lots of personality! Drako is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. For more information about Drako, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org. If you would like to adopt this wonderful dog, please submit an application for him at www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications. Story
Tate was born in September of 2016 under a shed in a rural area outside of Atlanta and boy am I lucky that a rescue group found me and my siblings and took us in. My Mom was a Border Collie mix and I am not sure about Dad but he was obviously one handsome dude. I am house and crate trained. I am very nervous in new situations and with new people. Once I feel comfortable though I am just a big goofball and my favorite thing to do is snuggle. I prefer to stay inside where I feel safe so I will need someone to be patient with me and give me time to get acclimated. I will do best in a home without small children or other pets and with a fenced yard.March 8, 2026, 12:40 am

Story
Meet Mikey -- a sweet, soulful Boxer mix who is urgently looking for a loving foster or forever home. Born on August 1, 2019, Mikey is a handsome boy with a heart full of affection. He has completed professional training and proudly knows his basic commands, walks nicely on leash, and is both crate trained and house trained. Mikey has a happy, easygoing personality with a medium energy level -- he enjoys staying active, but his favorite place at the end of the day is curled up right next to his person. This lovable boy is a true snuggle expert and thrives on human companionship. While Mikey will need to be the only dog in the home, he makes up for it by giving his people all the love, loyalty, and devotion they could ever want. Mikey would do best with a family who will continue providing gentle guidance, daily exercise, and--most importantly--lots of love. In return, he will be a devoted companion who brings warmth and joy into every day. Mikey is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, and he is more than ready to start his next chapter with someone special. Story
Darrell is 1 1/2 years-old (04/27/23), not a teeny guy, more of a biggy puppy, and his foster sister, Miss Fifi, 9 pounds with her collar on, really hopes you will consider adopting him, and of course, she is being selfish about the whole thing, because it is not easy having such a big cuddly foster brother. Squash, squish, smash all day long, here comes Darrell in for a hug...ugg!     Now Darrell is a good boy, potty trained, never jumps up on people, comes when you call, sits for a treat, sleeps on the bed, and shreds paper when he can. People say he is handsome, wonderful, mannerly, and a social butterfly. He loves to play with other dogs, big and small.     So, please save Fifi and adopt Darrell. She can't believe I took Darrell as a foster, but I did; he was a poor, homeless, pitiful puppy then, and I didn't know he was related to Shrek. I will be in the dog house with Fifi until I can get him adopted and bring home a little lap-size dog for her to mentor. I'm not saying that Darrell won't sit in your lap; he certainly will and give you the squish-squash.              An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online.  http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms     Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org    Note:   Some apartments and neighborhoods  have breed restrictions.
